
Mitsuha's younger sister, who lives with her and their grandmother. She thinks her sister is somewhat crazy but loves her despite the situation. She participates in creating both kumihimo and kuchikamizake.

She is the first mermaid to be shown in the film.  She is closest to the protagonist Kai and can manipulate water and marine life.  When she touches sunlight, she begins to burn and when she hears music, her fins turn into legs.
