Kaji, while only being a special inspector, secretly works for SEELE investigating NERV's true intentions. During college, he had a serious relationship with [Misato](https://anilist.co/character/1259/Katsuragi-Misato), but after having long broken up, they see each other again on the UN fleet ferrying Unit 02 and its pilot, [Asuka Langley Soryu](https://anilist.co/character/94/Souryuu-Asuka-Langley), to Japan. 

~!After he returns to NERV headquarters, Kaji and Misato rekindle their romance following a period of teasing and insults, when Misato confesses that she broke up with him because she realized that Kaji reminded her of her father. As a child, Shiratori studied diligently to one day become a lawyer, and had even memorized some laws by heart. One day, he witnessed a young girl confronting two juveniles trying to steal mangas from a bookstore. When the two offenders had pushed the girl to the floor for her protests, and seemed about to hurt her, Shiratori had stepped forward to recite the provisions made in the Japanese Law to punish stealing. This somewhat unnerved the juveniles and attracted the attention of the store owner and the other customers, causing the offenders to hastily get away. To thank him for helping her out, the girl bought him a drink and made a sakura petal pattern from the straw wrapper, saying that the sakura was the symbol of courage for the Japanese police _(due to the distinct form of the Japanese police badge),_ and Shiratori had acted with courage just like them. It was because of this incident that Shiratori decided to become a cop rather than a lawyer, and also started to consider the girl to be his childhood love.

Shiratori later joined the Tokyo Metropolian Police Department and worked alongside [Inspector Megure,](https://anilist.co/character/4253/Juzo-Megure) often acting as an extra officer or pair of eyes, though he later became an inspector of his own. When [Miwako Sato](https://anilist.co/character/13975/Miwako-Satou) joined the department, Shiratori believed that he had found his childhood love again, and as a result both he and his younger colleague [Takagi](https://anilist.co/character/9421/Wataru-Takagi) considered each other rivals for Sato's affections. Shiratori would often try to show off in front of Takagi by asking Sato on a date, but she always rejected him, much to his dismay.

~!In pursuit of love, Shiratori has a one track mind and is willing to abuse his police powers to achieve his desire. He even became the leader of a secret police group which protected Miwako Sato from the affections of other police officers like Takagi. Shiratori fixated on Sato because he believed she was the childhood crush who completely changed his life at a chance meeting in a bookstore. Shiratori is crushed when Sato chooses Takagi in the end, and can't truly give up his feelings for her. He later discovers that [Sumiko Kobayashi](https://anilist.co/character/30356/Sumiko-Kobayashi) is the true girl from his childhood memories. Once the realization sets in, Shiratori's Sato complex dissolves and he develops an affection for Sumiko that soon blossoms into mutual love. Meeting Sumiko has also helped cure his arrogance to a large degree. Shiratori more than once tried to use his riches to get an edge over Takagi over Sato in the past, but now that he's with Kobayashi he does it solely to make her happy. He's noticeably more friendly towards Conan, Ai and the Detective Boys as time passes.!~

His grip is so strong that if he grabs an opponent's arm, he can usually cause it to explode from restricting the blood flow. He is also a street fighter and it is unknown if he has trained in martial art styles. Thors is the father of [Thorfinn](https://anilist.co/character/10138), a Jomsviking general whose phenomenal combat prowess earns him the epithet &quot;The Troll of Jom&quot;. Thors grows weary of battle after the birth of his children, fakes his own death, and retires to become a pacifist farmer.

Thors is largely considered the greatest fighter to appear in the series, having defeated the likes of Askeladd and [Thorkell](https://anilist.co/character/17440) in single combat. Matamune is a character in the Shaman King manga. Matamune, who appears in volume 19 and 20, is not in the Shaman King anime. Matamune is a Nekomata, a type of cat spirit with two tails; he also carries around a pipe with him and wears a necklace with three bear claws (which later is owned by Yoh Asakura). He has served the Asakura family for a millennia, although he spends much of his time travelling the world. Ikalgo  is a former officer of the chimera ants whom eventually befriends Killua. Ikalgo, an octopus, wishes he had been a squid instead. After saving Killua&#039;s life after a battle, Ikalgo teams up with him in the assault on the palace of East Gorteau.

Fleadom allows Ikalgo to turn two of his tentacles into an air rifle. When residing inside a corpse, Ikalgo can use a special kind of giant fleas as rounds for the gun; they have a vertical leap of 200 meters (approx. 656 ft 2 in), and their saliva contains anticoagulant properties so potent that not even Killua was immune to it. The flea bullets boast impressive range and muzzle velocity and are powerful enough to knock an unaware individual back a few meters. Furthermore, their trajectory did not appear to change in the slightest when Ikalgo was targeting Killua. However, they do not appear to be capable of killing the target directly, managing to draw blood but not proving lethal even when hitting a critical area such as the neck. This would be in line with Ikalgo's reluctance to kill. The fleas can be conjured only if Ikalgo is puppeteering a corpse; if he is not, he can conjure regular bullets. The air gun needs to be recharged after every shot. By pulling the trigger with an empty chamber, Ikalgo can utilize the stored air to propel himself backwards at high speed.

Ikalgo is capable of inhabiting and taking control of a corpse, manipulating its movements, and utilizing its voice and Nen abilities. When he does so, he seems to reside in the head of the host, but can apparently leave its body from other points. Although Ikalgo can manipulate a corpse, he is powerless to stop its decomposition.!~

Kess is one of the three hunters working together with Tzesguerra. He is one of the two who's names are known (the other one being Barry), and the only one who's hatsu is known.  He appears to be a Conjuration type. His hatsu is called "Fly on he Wall: Silent Worker". It's a radar used to determine the whereabouts of other people. He used it to know when Gensuru and his team were incoming.  His nickname in Greed Island is "Dopple (ドップル)".

Zepile is an antiques trader who helps Gon raise funds for the Southernpiece Auction in Yorknew City.

Stick Dinner is a man with an Afro hairstyle who comes to survey the country of Kakin with Kite. He is from the same town as Spinner. He likes saying puns and seems to be in charge of the group's rations. According to Kite, Stick Dinner and his fellow amateur Hunters in the Kakin Exploration Team have excellent potential to be pro-hunters. He is seen once again back in his hometown along with the rest of Kite's apprentices, Gon and Kite.

Garou is a former disciple of [Bang](https://anilist.co/character/81141), but was kicked out from his dojo for going on a rampage. He's one of the strongest characters in the series and plays a major role as the main villain in the Hero Hunt arc.

Garou is introduced as an evil character with a hatred for heroes and a confident, vindictive personality. He hates being insulted and will attack or kill any who offend him. He thinks highly of himself and uses that assertion to threaten high ranking personal such as heroes and [Shicchi](https://anilist.co/character/137876/Sitch). He does not consider other human villains to be allies, wiping out a large group of them along with the heroes present. He will also attack low ranked hero and hero staff members if he encounters them. A large aspect of his personality seems to be some sort of disdain for his former master, Bang, enough to avoid using the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist he was taught unless seriously cornered.

He has no remorse even for people who aid him, as he smashed [Licenseless Rider](https://anilist.co/character/81935)'s face soon after the latter defended him.

Although Garou is an evil character, he possesses some kind of morality: he lets heroes live so that they can grow stronger and fight him again.

In some ways, Garou can be considered the opposite to [Saitama](https://anilist.co/character/73935). Where Saitama wanted to be a hero who fought villains from his childhood, Garou wanted to be a monster who defeated heroes. While Garou is a genius fighter, Saitama had to work extremely hard to get his strength.

Nanbu's former student. He was called up for military service a few years before the start of the story, during his time as a soldier he was directly hit by an explosion which cost him his legs and burned half his face off. When he returned home he started to suffer from PTSD which led him to attempt suicide and he also felt abandoned by Nanbu after finding that he had closed down his gym when he thought Aragaki had died. He makes his return to Megalo Boxing 3 years before the start of the story and fights his way up to rank 17, when he hears that Nanbu has a new popular Megalo Boxer named Joe he vows to destroy him so that Nanbu can feel his pain, but he also wants to earn money from sponsors so that he can repay everyone from the veteran's association for giving him his life back.

N'Doul is a man of athletic build and medium height, keeping unkempt dark hair and whose blank eyes are always near shut due to his blindness. He wears a simple T-shirt over which he keeps a stripped overshirt and a drape to protect himself from the sun. N'Doul also wears armbands and simple trousers and shoes. He wears a headband and two earrings which look like bracelets.

Add, Logos React Replica (ロゴスリアクト・レプリカだ?), was created as a seal for Rhongomyniad sometime after Artoria Pendragon's death. Its main purpose was to preserve mystery. It was a replica of Logos React, one of the Seven Superweapons of Atlas. Its pseudo-personality was modeled after Kay of the Knights of the Round Table.
