Rumiko is the female teacher of Keiichi's class, who is a parody character of Tsukihime's Ciel-Senpai (permission for her usage was given by Type-Moon). The seiyū for her character in the anime series is the same as the seiyū of Ciel from the Tsukihime anime. Going along with the parody, her favorite food is curry rice, just like Ciel, and will go to great and somewhat scary, lengths to uphold the honor of curry, which is shown in the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei OVA, where she becomes enraged by Keichi's "offense" to curry. On a stronger note, she is seen wielding wooden T's, shapped, and held, in exactly the same fashion as the Black Keys from Tsukihime.

An enthusiastic young girl, and one of the protagonists, though she does not appear to have an animal partner. Her body is extremely strong, enough to do a hundred push-ups with Amamiya on her back or destroy a golem in one blow. She wants to save the Earth from the Biscuit Hammer, but her reason for doing so is so she can eventually destroy the world herself.    ~!Later on, she admits her love to Yuuhi. !~

Akemi Miyano, the oldest child of [Elena Miyano](https://anilist.co/character/145173/Elena-Miyano) and [Atsushi Miyano,](https://anilist.co/character/145172) was born into the Black Organization approximately some 25 years before the current timeline. Unlike her younger sister [Shiho Miyano,](https://anilist.co/character/1743/Ai-Haibara) Akemi was never considered a high ranking member of the Organization and managed to live a mostly normal life, traveling about freely and going to school and college like normal, despite being watched over by the organization. Both of her parents later died an accident while she was young, orphaning Akemi and Shiho. Although her sister became a highly ranked codenamed scientist, Akemi remained in close contact with Shiho and served as her lifeline to normalcy. She only involved herself into the organization to try get Shiho out of it.

Some five years before the current timeline, Akemi met undercover FBI agent [Shuichi Akai](https://anilist.co/character/12051/Shuuichi-Akai) who was using the alias Dai Moroboshi. He planned to date Akemi in order to get close to Shiho Miyano so he could gain standing within the Black Organization as part of his mission. Although Shuichi initially was just using her, they wound up really falling in love. Akemi discovered Shuichi was an FBI agent and guessed his plan, but kept this knowledge secret even from him. Three years later, Shuichi's true allegiance was uncovered and he was ejected from the Organization. Akemi then revealed that she knew his secret, and that she wished to leave the Organization and date him seriously. 

This did not happen because Akemi was unwilling to leave without her sister, and the Black Organization would not allow Shiho to go because her work on the APTX 4869 project was extremely valuable. Although Shuichi stopped contacting Akemi for her safety, the Organization was planning to get rid of her anyway because her connection to Shuichi was considered a serious risk. The Organization could not simply eliminate her though because it would jeopardize Shiho's loyalty. The Black Organization finally put their plan to kill Akemi into motion two years later just after Shinichi had shrunk into [Conan Edogawa.](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa)

Akemi had a friendly, kind, gentle cheerful and outgoing personality and a good sense of humor. When she was a child, she was naive, mischievous and native; she hid the work tools of her father's friends and happily watched as they panicked, however, she only wanted them not to work hard anymore. As an adult, she was a loving, caring person well at odds with the rest of the Black Organization. She and her sister Shiho were very close although they met each other rarely, they often shared with each other the stories. Shuichi says Akemi was always crying in the dark while pretending to be strong. This tells that she is a weak girl and does not want to annoy the others. She is sensitive and may have many sad stories or secrets which she does not tell outside. But she was clever, given that she could plan a robbery with a haul worth 1 billion dollars.

Shouta Magatsuchi is a young boy born into a family of mages in the modern world. He has shown to possess enough knowledge on the arcane arts to attempt summoning a demon. [Lucoa](https://anilist.co/character/120975) came out of a summoning portal Shouta created and starts living with him.

Shouta is an elementary school boy in 5th grade with both purple hair and eyes. His bangs reach well below his eyebrows. His appearance looks partly androgynous.
