A childhood friend of [Shinichi Kudo](https://anilist.co/character/1742); daughter of [Kogoro Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1746), a private detective, and [Eri Kisaki](https://anilist.co/character/1744), a lawyer. Her parents got separated when she was seven, and one of her biggest goals is to get them back together. Her best friend next to Shinichi is her classmate [Suzuki Sonoko](https://anilist.co/character/1749), who constantly teases her about her relationship with Shinichi.

After Shinichi's disappearance, Ran met [Edogawa Conan](https://anilist.co/character/1742), who was introduced by [Professor Agasa](https://anilist.co/character/4162) as a "distant relative" and asked Ran if she wouldn't mind taking care of him at her house. She and her father practically adopted him; Ran immediately came to think of him as a surrogate little brother. Little did (and still does) Ran know that "Conan" is actually Shinichi.

Ran's greatest personality trait is that she genuinely cares for those she loves. She is also patient, kind, and nurturing. Like Shinichi, she highly values justice to the point of idealism. To avoid making Shinichi choose between her and his important case (really an excuse because Shinichi has turned into Conan and can't return), she has decided to wait for him to finish it, trusting his promise that he will come back despite their separation causing Ran a lot of emotional pain. Ran is also very hot-blooded and tends to act on impulses when the people she cares about are involved; the combination of jumping to conclusions and not hesitating to use karate on those who she perceives to have wronged someone has led to several "near-miss" misunderstandings. Early on, she would become violently suspicious if she thought Shinichi was philandering although more recently his confessions have led her to trust his intentions. Even though Ran is in love with Shinichi, she often fails to convey her feelings because she suddenly becomes self-conscious.

She can be very brave and resourceful when she wants to be and rescues Conan from trouble on occasion. However, she has an irrational fear of the supernatural and is thus - unlike her friend Sonoko - absolutely no fan of anything related to the horror genre. She also constantly tries to reunite her father and mother again - though with little success, thanks to the mutual stubbornness of both parents. Men also tend to pay her a lot of undue romantic attention, a fact that makes Sonoko somewhat jealous (and of which Ran herself is completely unaware).  Ran is very self-sufficient for her age. This is because her father is drunk, slovenly, and fiscally irresponsible. She handles many of the Mouri household's financial affairs and all the cooking and housework. She also ensures Kogorou doesn't slack off on his job, is on his best behavior for client meetings, and often greets and provides refreshments for potential clients.

Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya is a student in Teitan Elementary School when Shinichi joins his class as [Conan Edogawa.](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) Shortly afterwards, his classmates [Ayumi](https://anilist.co/character/4228/Ayumi-Yoshida) and [Genta](https://anilist.co/character/4251/Genta-Kojima) have the idea of investigating an apparently haunted mansion, and they persuade Conan to come along. When Mitsuhiko expresses his skepticism about supernatural hauntings, Genta forcefully 'persuades' him to tag along as well. As it turns out, the ghost story is a cover-up for an old homicide case. 

Soon after, the accidental acquisition of a treasure map leads Ayumi, Genta, Mistuhiko and Conan on a hunt for a cache of stolen Italian gold coins, during which Conan saves them from getting killed by the mafia members who are also after the gold. After the case is resolved, Mitsuhiko joins Genta and Ayumi in forming the nucleus of an amateur detective group, the Detective Boys.

Mitsuhiko enjoys reading science books and takes a scientific approach to problem-solving. He is a smart and well-read first-grader who believes that technology can solve most problems. Due to his strict and formal upbringing by his parents, he tends to be very formal towards his elders, addressing them (in Japanese) with the formal suffix "-san" without regard to the intimacy of their relationship.

It has been shown at numerous times that Mitsuhiko really likes to be prepared for any occasion. He enjoys studying scientific, historic and general subjects for his own interest and fun. This eventually allows him to provide useful insights whenever necessary. He's been (or felt) rewarded a few times for his knowledge. In one instance, Ayumi said how impressed she was after Mitsuhiko provided some precise historical facts behind the Ohashi House in Kurashiki, and he thought to himself with a big happy smile on his face: "I'm so glad I studied!".

One of his other qualities is that he tends to be proactive in many situations and thinks ahead to possible outcomes. For example, while the Detective Boys were trying to solve riddles they found in a Momotaro container in a small river in Kurashiki, a murder occurred which eventually led to the different codes to get burned. Conan, knowing that resolving those codes would lead to concrete proof as to who the murderer might be, was quite pleased when Mitsuhiko proudly announced that he took notes in his Detective Boys notebook "thinking that something like that could happen". He has often been shown as shrewder and more quick-witted than Genta and Ayumi, sometimes leading the investigation when Conan and [Haibara](https://anilist.co/character/1743/Ai-Haibara) aren't present. 

Despite the preciousness of his intelligence, Mitsuhiko remains an elementary school child, and enjoys activities of his age, such as making a snowman or treasure hunting. As a consequence, he is best friends with Genta and Ayumi. Mitsuhiko has a dislike for carrots, and will always eat them last _(if ever)_ if he can help it. Both of his parents are both teachers, and he has an older sister, [Asami Tsuburaya,](https://anilist.co/character/46857/Asami-Tsuburaya) about ten years his senior. Mitsuhiko doesn't like to eat carrot but be careful.

An established actress of great talent and self-professed star of the Hanagumi, Sumire is arrogant and conceited, perhaps because she was raised as a spoiled brat, with her father and grandfather being good-hearted yet very workaholic. Despite her attitude, she is skilled pilot and highly capable of wielding a naginata, and can sometimes be rather wise. She is a daughter born into the elite Kanzaki industrial clan, whose factory produced the Koubu.

Mikiko Kawamoto is a supporting character in the original Devilman manga. 

In the 2017 anime adaptation, _Devilman Crybaby_, Miki Kuroda is on the running track team along with Akira Fudo and Miki Makimura.

Lovis is Mattis' wife and also Ronja's mother. She lives together in the castle with Mattis, Ronja and the rest of the robbers tribe.

She is mostly in charge of the duties in the castle and is basically "the master of the house."

Lovis is a strong-willed, confident and motherly woman. She might seem like a pretty rough and bossy character that doesn't give a damn about the other people in the group, but she's actually a very caring person that thinks of the best for the people around her.

Princess Rose is a gentle and naive girl. However, she is brave enough to confront Lucifer who wishes to marry her. She likes white roses and believes that a handsome prince will come and save her.  Later Rose confessed to Pierre that she appreciated good features of his character. It proves the fact that, unlike her father, Rose didn&#039;t consider wealth and social status to be the most important things.
