After marrried, she gave birth to the only child in Uchinomiya. Due to the nature of her husband's job, their family had to constantly change their workplace once a few years. They used to live in Shizuoka before moved to Tokyo. 

Satoshi (known as Ash Ketchum in most international territories) is the main character of the Pocket Monsters anime. He is also the main character of various manga based on the anime, including but not limited to Dengenki Pikachu, Satoshi to Pikachu, and Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl. He is a Pokémon Trainer from Masara Town whose goal is to become a Pokémon Master. His starter Pokémon was a Pikachu that he received from Professor Okido after arriving late at his laboratory.

She is Kiyomi's grandmother. The grandmother was first seen grinding herbs at the herbal shop. When Satoshi and his friends requested to buy some Potions and Antidotes, she offered them snake root that cures insomnia and grow hair on the nose and tongue. She was then scolded by her granddaughter.

Monna is a warrior from Universe 4 and a member of Team Universe 4.
