Denji is Chainsaw Man's Human Form. He became Chainsaw Man after his dead body was resurrected by his pet dog, [Pochita](https://anilist.co/character/170266/Pochita).

He is a Public Safety Devil Hunter who works under [Makima](https://anilist.co/character/137080/Makima) as a member of an experimental squad in Special Tokyo Division 4. He works alongside his partner [Power](https://anilist.co/character/137079/Power) and under the supervision of [Aki Hayakawa](https://anilist.co/character/137081/Aki-Hayakawa).

Denji's personality is both brash and naive as a result of being unable to have a formal education and socialize due to living in severe poverty. He comes off as rude and harsh, yet in an almost childish way. He doesn't know how to be clever or wise but he knows how to lighten the mood. As the Chainsaw Devil, he has the ability to grow chainsaws out of his body.

Kiyose Akira did not inherently have a passion for being an Idol but loved Singing, one of his friends who he calls "Kachhan" loved his Singing and wanted to share it to tons of People around the World through Internet and thus created a YouTube Channel with the name __KIKUNOYU__. The name was taken from Kiyose Family's Public Bath House "KIKUNOYU" which also later became his Stage Name.

Akira is one of the Idols in the UniteUp! Anime Series. He is a high school student who enjoys singing and does video live streaming, Akira was officially signed with __sMiLea Production__ along with [Isuzugawa Chihiro](https://anilist.co/character/288080/Isuzugawa-Chihiro) and [Banri Naoe](https://anilist.co/character/288081/Naoe-Banri), they formed the Idol group called __PROTOSTAR__.

Donny is a member of the Katz Street Troupe. Donny is a tall teenager, with long red hair and is a bit burly. Donny wears a white button-down shirt, which leaves part of his chest uncovered, and black pants with some kind of pockets on the sides, and a pair of light-colored boots. Donny used to train as a Holy Knight apprentice under his uncle Howzer alongside his friend Edlin. However, seeing that he lacked the strength to become a Holy Knight, Donny dropped out of training and joined the Katz Street Troupe alongside Katz and Elva.

A strategist and swordsman who travels in search of a lord. Initially was a member of the Elusive Warriors.

He is a member of the Kudou Family, one of the Ten Master Clans. He attends Second High School as a second-year student.

The leader of Shishitoren. He believes that the stronger someone is, the more free they are. Tomiyama wants to create a fun environment for Shishitoren, where members can feel the most free they've ever felt. Always a bit fidgety and impatient, he charges into things even by himself, no matter where he goes. He's obsessed with Umemiya, his counterpart at the top in Bofurin, as Umemiya always looks like he's having fun.

He likes Mizuki, but doesn't know that she is really a girl, and some of his classmates believe that he is gay due to that fact. Nakatsu also seems to have come to terms with that fact. As Umeda says,"...he's only attracted to her feminine side," meaning that Nakatsu is responding as any teenage male would to being around a female, although it would appear he is a bit more excitable than his classmates as none of them seem to be affected by Mizuki-- or they simply hide it better. At times, he is very jealous of Sano because of how close he is to Mizuki. He entered the school with a football (soccer) scholarship, and is very good at it. Originally from Osaka (the city, which is different from the school and spelled with different kanji), he has a thick Kansai accent and frequently uses the Kansai dialect.

A student at Chidori High and a close friend of [Rintaro](https://anilist.co/character/268677/Rintarou-Tsumugi)'s, alongside [Ayato](https://anilist.co/character/272243/Ayato-Yorita) and [Saku](https://anilist.co/character/272241/Saku-Natsusawa). Shohei is extremely outgoing, being the most talkative member of Rintaro's friend group. He also holds no hostility towards Kikyo's students despite the opposing school's vitriol towards each other.
