A strong and flirtatious man who wishes for peace in The World. He is a member of "Raven" and part of the project to destroy AIDA. He was once a member of the newbie help guild Canard, and even now, he is admired by Silabus and Gaspard. Kuhn currently lives by himself and is single despite his popularity with girls in The World. He controls the Avatar, Magus. In reality, he is the ex-boyfriend of Mai Minase, one of the heroines of .hack//Liminality, and a former coma victim from the previous version of the World.  

Kuhn is very cheerful and optimistic, but has a strong sense of justice. Though he acts like a womanizer, he cares deeply for his friends. He dislikes putting others in danger but he respects the strength of people such as Haseo and is willing to work with him. As the second player to activate his Avatar, he has gained almost complete control over Magus, who he affectionately calls "My Magus".   

In real life, Kuhn is a 24-year-old man working part time at an arcade in Kanazawa and part-time at CC Corp. He loves attending mixed parties. His flirtatious attitude online hides a trouble with forming relationships in the real world. He confesses to Haseo that the only serious girlfriend he ever had was in high school. He prides himself in having the private email addresses of 972 girls on his cell phone and plans to make Pi's his 1000th. His real name is Tomonari Kasumi, and he is the player behind Sieg.

Crim is a powerful Long Arm, friend of Subaru who founded the Crimson Knights organization with her, but afterwards left it as he found it did not match his personality. Amiable, easygoing and sociable; he prefers to keep the real world and the game seperate. Crim's stated goal when playing is simply to have fun, although he never turns down a chance to help somebody in need.   In real life, he is a business man, and is frequently sent off on business trips to places all around the world. His age is unknown. He and BT have met in real life.   His main hobby is playing The World, and he also likes to read books. Ryo Sakuma is one of his favorite authors and he frequently uses quotes from his books in the game.

The star of the series, Isurugi is an overly-eager air plane mechanic who loves everything about air planes. He repairs and works on them for the 801st and joins the team at the start of the series. Isurugi is a very positive and upbeat person, he keeps the teams spirits high and believes anyone who loves air planes so much can't be a bad person. He first develops a relation with Miyuki which causes jealousy within Mitaka, who even tries to split them apart by spreading rumors about Miyuki. Isurugi still cares for Mitaka however when she develops a fever, and eventually both girls fall in love with him. Isurugi nervously can't decide between the girls and states "One will be my girlfriend, the other will be my mistress!" Despite being unable to choose, Isurugi still maintains strong friendships with both girls and the others and remains positive and upbeat.

A SO news reporter sent to Area 88 to cover the rumor of foreign freelance pilots fighting in the Asranian civil war, he was intrigued by Shin's presence as the only lone Japanese pilot to fight for the Asranian military. One of Rocky's photos, with Shin in the background, was seen by Ryoko in a magazine article on Asran and this convinced her that Shin was alive. He dies in the OVA rendition after he joins a pilot on a patrol, and is shot down. In the 2004 TV series, he survived the series and eventually confessed that his sponsor was Satoru Kanzaki because he wanted to get a photo of Shin's dead corpse as proof to Ryoko that he died in action, forcing her to get married to him. However, he later help thwart the marriage. In the Eclipse comic, he survives being shot down, but is severely injured in the ordeal. Rocky travels the world, apparently having no ties back in Japan, telling the mercenaries that a photographer leaves nothing behind but his camera. A man from the Jōmon period of Japan and the founder of the Mikage family. In the legend, he hid her hagoromo in the ocean forcing her to become mortal. Toward the end, it is revealed that he had begun as a gentle, kind young man. Ceres falls in love with him, to the point of granting him power after their family is attacked and he is ashamed at his own inability to protect them. As Shiso grows strong, he went mad and his love becoming an obsession that drives him to hide the hagoromo, and Ceres comes to fear for her children&#039;s safety. When she leaves, he chases her and is killed by Ceres (after he kills their first child), who covers him with lacerations identical to the ones that appear on Aki Mikage when Mikagi manifests himself in his descendant. He will stop at nothing to ensure Ceres is his again.

Shou Yanagi  is a twenty-four year old Head Diver, who is usually partnered with Kaede Kurenai. Although he often shows a collected personality in front of others, he suffers from psychological trauma from when his younger brother was killed in an accident while testing early Neuronoid models. Seeing Keita Aono reminds him of his brother, causing him to break down on several occasions. He is a powerful hypnotist, and is able to hypnotize others merely by looking into their eyes. He is devoted to his partner Kaede, and after announcing her pregnancy, marries her before the final battle. He is tragically killed along with his new bride when she seemingly succumbs to Algernon and kills them both.

Creed is the leader of the Apostles of the Stars, which seeks to make revolution, not only to overthrow Chronos, but change the world's leadership by "incompetent people". Back when Train was the XIII Chrono Number and Creed was an eraser, he admired him to the point of calling him "his partner", even though their relationship was far from close. Creed captured Rinslet to make Train meet with him at Lunafort Tower, in their first encounter after many years; he wants him to join the Apostles Of The Stars. Creed has a choker that looks like Train's, which reflects his recent and disturbing obsession with him. He borders on the insane, but Creed is at his most disturbing at times when we know what he says must be the truth.    ~!When Creed was young, he was abused by his mother. When he found a chance he ran away. There he is abused by police as a way for them to release tension. His Imagine Blade is shattered by Train in his final battle (When it is in Level Max), when Train ignores all warnings from Dr. Tearju not to use his Rail Gun more than three times a day not to destabilize his electric power (Which would prevent him from using his Rail Gun ability ever again), and charges all his power in Hades to fire the most powerful bolt of electricity he could, which not just breaks Creed's blade, but also depletes most of his Ki, allowing him to barely stand. Eve then uses her powers to remove the immortality nanomachines from Creed, to turn him back into a human. Creed then flees with Echidna to a quiet place. Kisuke Urahara is a mysterious shinigami who runs his own shop in the world of the living, specifically Karakura Town, that caters to Shinigami / Soul Reaper needs. Kisuke tends to go over the top with whatever he becomes passionate about, and has once described himself as a "mere honest, handsome, perverted businessman." Despite his appearance, Urahara is a highly skilled fighter, using a combination of powerful attacks and cunning deceptions, and is capable of holding his own with nothing more than his shikai.

Urahara can often be found near the scene of events that he deems important, but will rarely step in to intervene, preferring to pull the strings from outside. After the event is over, he kindly pops up and helps the side he deems fit. He often tends to know more than he reveals, and has strong history and ties to the soul society and several characters within it. While he is a major driving force throughout much of the story, he is usually only the catalyst, allowing others to do the work for him. He also likes building large underground training spaces in secret, it's practically his hobby.

He is the charming young man Chiharu Nitta met during summer training camp. A city slicker with a beat for nature and lots of hobbies, at first Chiharu shrugged him off, but because she was lonely, and she's in a fight with Kyoichi, she nearly gave in. Though he already had girlfriend waiting in the city, he continued his advances and managed to make Chiharu fall for him. Genzo Wakabayashi is an extraordinary goalkeeper who can catch almost anything thrown at him. Not many shots can come past Genzo. A charismatic guy, Genzo is also loyal to his friends and he is firm with his decisions. Genzo always keeps his feelings to himself and people close to him as seen in Shin Captain Tsubasa, when he&#039;s willingly criticize his teammates&#039; performance in order to make them realize that football in Europe is different than what they play in Japan. His actions caused a lot of Japanese players to dislike him and Genzo only told Tsubasa his true intentions. From early childhood, he has aimed to be the best goalkeeper in the world. He tended to be selfish, and brag about his skills before he met and played a couple of games against Tsubasa. After his match against Tsubasa, he has learned to enjoy the game with his other teammates.

He is always looking for ways to save time and effort, so not only does he regulate the robot's systems with clockwork proficiency, but he will intuitively notice methods by which the team can accomplish its goal with less effort.
