The first recruited member of BECK, Taira is the bassist, and the most talented band member next to [Ryusuke](https://anilist.co/character/4170/Minami-Ryuusuke). He plays Music Man StingRay bass. His attitude may sometimes come off as uncaring. He has been seen working as a traffic officer. As the story progresses, we learn that his father was a jazz musician that left him and his mother when he was young.

Yuuta Takemoto is a second-year student at the art college. He is from Annaka city, Gunma-ken. He lives in the same apartment complex as Mayama and Morita in room 202. His floormates are Morita and Hasegawa. Takemoto studies architecture, but has little certainty as to what he wishes to do upon graduating; his decision to attend art college was because he liked to build things with his hands, like he had with his father.  Takemoto is one of the more mellow characters in the series. He falls in love with Hagu immediately after being introduced by his professor and keeps his feelings to himself throughout most of the series. His love for Hagu and his inability to act upon his feelings as freely as Morita causes some internal problems for Takemoto. For example, when Hagu received a bird brooch that was made for her as an anonymous present, Takemoto couldn't bring himself to say that Morita was the one who had made it for her. Instead of acting on his feelings, Takemoto decides to be more of a brother figure to Hagu, giving her friendly support when needed. For example, Takemoto accepts Hagu's requests to build her sophisticated dollhouses and the like. Takemoto is very close to her.  His relationship with his family also contributes to his mellow mood. His father died when he was still young. Also, his mother works at a hospital as a nurse, so Takemoto would usually spend a lot of his time there, even his Christmas holidays. Furthermore, Takemoto is uncomfortable with his mother's new husband, an outspoken man whose persona seems to a polar opposite to that of his father. However, Takemoto tries to get used to his company and tries to accept the fact that his step-father is capable of looking after his mother, since Takemoto has worried about his mother's well-being ever since he left home. His mother's remarriage and her assurance that he is now free to do as he wishes instead of taking care of her all the time later influenced Takemoto's decision to attend art college.  Later in the series Takemoto has to stay another year due to getting a stomach ulcer and not being able to complete his graduation thesis.   ~! During the end of the first season, Takemoto goes on a journey across Japan on a bicycle, meeting several people on the way, including a group in Zuigan-ji in Matsushima which is involved in the renovating of ancient Japanese structures and buildings all around the country (which he wishes to join), finally reaching Cape Sōya in Wakkanai, Hokkaidō. After arriving back to Tokyo, he finally confesses his feelings for Hagu, but she did not have the courage to answer him, thus Takemoto figured his feelings for her were unrequited.  !~

Angry and bitter because of his experiences in Khirbet, Karman despises all humans and is often chastised for it by Moses, the leader of the Schiff. Karman is very aggressive and rash. He has a deep friendship with Moses but is also very caring for his comrades.

A Blade Child with a dual personality. He could be cute and friendly or manipulative and insane. He was very close to Eyes. He would cry for Eyes when Eyes could not when they were young, but their friendship fell apart as they grew older and developed vastly different opinions on the fate of the Blade Children. Kanone will go as far as he can to kill the people who give the Blade Children false hope, to prove to Eyes and the Blade Children they have no hope.

Eita's friend and class-skipping companion. Being a member of a wealthy family and independent of his parents, his house becomes a place for Eita and Margery to stay. Both him and Eita like Margery, but he hides his feelings.

Shiki is the main character of the Tsukihime series. He is a kind, honest, if not slightly playful second-year high school student. He is anemic and is prone to fainting, but he tries his best to live a normal life. He has the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception (Chokushi no Magan), allowing him to see the "Lines" and "Points" that enable him to kill all things using the highly effective assassination techniques hidden in his subconscious. Despite being constantly surrounded by death he has a greater appreciation for life than most people and would never take a human life.

Jun's schoolmate and friend. Before his fight begins, he reveals to Jun that despite seeing him hurting Kana, he did not intervene because his sister asked him not to. He also reveals to him a secret that makes Jun start to change his point of view about her, and asks him to watch out for Machi. Kanji's opponent is by far one of the strangest who appeared in the manga as it first launches itself into the sky then lands in a very far away place - Hawaii to be exact, then starts to fire powerful shots to a cannon orbiting the Earth which redirect them at Zearth. After Japan attempts to defeat the enemy with a nuclear bomb and fails, Jun suggests to Kanji to use the lasers to target the enemy. Although Kanji could not directly target the enemy, a human soul could be used as a target, and Seki immediately volunteers. Dungbeetle teleports Seki and 22 soldiers to where the enemy is, and Seki valiantly reaches the enemy in time for Kanji to fire, thus defeating it. His chair was a folding chair that often spun and flipped when he sat in it. After the victory, Kanji requests Dungbeetle to teleport him to the top of Chutenro tower where he contemplates who the next pilot will be in his final moments.  Kanji's role in the story is far more elaborated in the anime series. Not only he is the son of Yoshikawa Mitsue, a lead researcher with the task of unlocking the secrets behind Zearth's technology, but he also ends up emotionally involved with Anko when her family is shaken by a scandal. It was by his support that Anko managed to gain strength enough to bear with her situation and defeat her enemy, and while he sadly holds her body as she passes out, he has a vision of some mysterious people whom he believes to be the masterminds behind the whole battles they have to fight. Coemushi at one time, stated to Machi that he chose Kanji to be the pilot for the final battle, but after having some serious discussions with him, especially after he discovered Coemushi's true character, he changed his mind, having him to battle earlier. A young dark-haired man of few words and absolutely deadly combat abilities. Unarmed, in a Light Warrior suit, or piloting his Gladiator mech, this Phantom deserter takes out the enemy with alarming ease. When he’s done piloting, tears stream down his face, something he regards as almost like a side-effect.

He is a troubled high school student who is friends with delinquents and harbors intense, romantic feelings for his younger sister, [Sara Mudou](https://anilist.co/character/2806/Sara-Mudo). His mother rejected him from an early age for being "different", and he lives separately from Sara, with their absent father. However, despite his hardships he remains cheerful. He is very charismatic and an incredibly loyal friend, though he is very impulsive, rebellious, and reckless, putting Sara before anyone or anything else.

He still possesses many of Alexiel's powers, despite his mortal body, and is almost immune to any injury.

Sho is 17. He is lives with his father.    He is in love with Mizuki, Tetsuro (his best friend&#039;s) sister.    He and Tetsuro were out walking when they saw an explosion, and an object landed near them. Which turned out to be a Guyver Unit. The unit engulfed Sho and turned him into Guyver 1.    He is the controller of Guyver unit 1.

He worked at a gas station in the near future until a life-threatening disease required him to be put into cryogenic stasis so that his state would not worsen. He awakens in the future to find that the Blue have destroyed everything he knew. He then begins his journey to Second Earth, learning to defend himself and others on the way. His mental state changes a lot during the series, as he sees more of the ruined earth and meets all the people left behind.

Mamoru Chiba is the major romantic interest of Usagi Tsukino. He is often portrayed as stoic, steady and introverted. ~!This may be because when he was young his parents died in a car crash. This blocked his childhood memories of his current lifetime and opened up the memories of his previous life as Prince Endymion. Tuxedo Mask is a disguise Mamoru created for himself in order to hunt for the Silver Crystal incognito and, later, assist the Sailor Senshi in battle.  He is always addressed as Mamo-chan by Usagi throughout the series (Chibiusa also addresses him with this nickname later on). After dating for two years, Mamoru gives Usagi an engagement ring at an airport. The couple eventually gets married. In the future, they become king and queen of Earth and Crystal Tokyo and have a child together whom they name, Small Lady, but is in the majority of the series known as Chibiusa.  The manga develops Mamoru more extensively, showing that the car crash happened on his birthday and gives a glimpse of his parents. He also is given the power of psychometry, which also showed up in the anime, but was not given a name. This manifests in his ability to see and read dreams (such as Chibiusa's), heal people and monitor the status of the Earth. The anime tends not to develop Mamoru as much, however, he is shown to be more social than his manga counterpart. He's interested in a variety of subjects and is shown as smart.  Mamoru also has his left ear pierced in the manga, a trait that does not carry over to his anime counterpart.!~

Henri comes from France. He is a very cold-hearted realist. He never sugar-coats anything and if he feels a certain way about you he'll tell you.  He is interested in predictions and is often seen having Tarot cards in his hands.  He and Alfred don't get along due to his witty-remarks and Alfred's loudness and tendency to get the last word. They bicker back and forth every so often. They even argued to the point where Alfred punched him in the face. Henri though, reservedly stood up and did not make a big deal, instead telling the butler to bring ice to his room later.   ~! Henri's parents are both gone. His mother died and his father left.!~

Tomoya Okazaki is the protagonist of Clannad. Due to his habit of always arriving late to school, skipping classes during the day, and staying out all night, he has been labeled as a delinquent.

He's Akira's older brother and a former student at Fujimori who was known by all who knew him as &quot;Sakamoto-sama&quot; because of his amazing beauty. He comes back during the cultural festival to help the student council raise money. Harumi is usually very cool and smiles constantly. However, in the presence of his younger brother, he becomes completely emotional and is easily moved to tears (something which Toru and Yuujiro accidentally notice when visiting Akira, as seen in a manga filler chapter).

While Ikki is officially recognized as a bronze saint, his base power easily places him well above most silver saints, and his reputation as a powerhouse is common knowledge among his peers and fellow Bronze saints. Even as a child, Ikki was known as the toughest kid of the 100 orphans, and would often defend his delicate younger brother Andromeda Shun from the other children. Akira Udou was the former leader of the Behemoth Team, once-powerful, D-class Storm Rider organization &quot;Behemoth.&quot; Together with Agito, he was also once a member of the Wind SWAT team. Due to a series of unfortunate events, Akira turns on his former colleague and gains possession of the Fang Regalia until Agito retrieves it with the Kogarasumaru in a challenge. Nicknamed the &quot;Chō Jyū&quot; (超獣, Super Beast, i.e. Behemoth?), Akira is a fearsome opponent and is characterized by a large lion. He is highly skilled in the Bloody Road and was able to evolve the Leviathan Fang attack into a more deadly 'Gigaer Cross'. His elite AT skills and the ability to wield the Fang Regalia proves too much to handle even for Agito, the Fang King himself. In recent chapters, Akira is seen picking up Kazu while the latter was in ball mourning over Spitfire's death. However, the Takeuchi brothers make short work of him after Wind's attempts to capture them. He is present during Spitfire's video.

The main protagonist of the series. RD is a delivery boy who works for the company known as Mach Storm. He becomes the pilot of the Liger Zero. However, he still has yet to grow as a Zoid pilot. RD is determined to become better, and usually butts heads with his rival Blake, who pilots the Berserk Fury. After a close call while fighting Blake and his Buster Fury Zoid, he is saved by the Fire Phoenix and eventually discovers the ability to Fuse it with the Liger Zero to create the powerful Liger Zero Phoenix.        RD's personal goal is to find the legendary "Alpha Zoid", a Zoid that is more powerful then any other. It is the same Zoid that his father dedicated his life to finding. Even though his father, Harris, left him when he was very young, RD is determined to follow in his footsteps. The brother whom all of the sisters adore. In their eyes, he can do no wrong. Until the final set of illustrated stories, the brother's face was always hidden or turned away from the reader to keep his appearance hidden. The intention was to have the reader believe he was the character. As the series came to its end, a slightly modified version of the character design from the anime was used.        As the father of the siblings is never present, and the mothers of the sisters are regularly preoccupied by their upper-class careers, Wataru serves as much a parent figure as he does a brother. He devotes extraordinary time to teaching or guiding them through various life crises, no matter how trivial or difficult they may be. For this reason, the sisters attribute many of their personal accomplishments to him. Despite their unwavering testimonies, Wataru is not perfect, even in the magazine stories and mini-novels. He is unquestionably selfless however, and will do everything in his power to aid his siblings whenever humanly possible. Wataru also seems to possess an uncanny ability to show up exactly when a sister needs him most.        Understandably, the greatest fear of the sisters share is someone or something taking Wataru away from them. For this reason, some of them entertain and dream of somehow becoming his wife or life partner. The inclination is far more innocent and less disturbing than it initially may sound: there are no incestuous intentions. As pure as Wataru’s sisters are, they show signs of jealousy and concern when a non-family member "takes" their brother away from them, fearing he may forget or leave them. Menma was a former member of a group of bandits originating from the Land of Rice Fields. His real name is unknown, Menma being a name given by Naruto. He left the gang after a member killed a man in front of his daughter while raiding a town. After saving the girl from a similar death, the boy acquires a case of amnesia as a result of falling off a cliff (it was actually a &quot;memory blocking jutsu&quot;). Naruto soon rescues the boy while returning from a mission and sidetracking to get a &quot;legendary fermented bamboo&quot; for Ichiraku Ramen and takes him back to Konoha to recover, while there giving him the nickname Menma (which means fermented bamboo).    When the hospital that he is staying at catches fire, Menma&#039;s memory returns while he saves an infant, much to his dismay. After being permitted to stay, Menma builds a good reputation with the village elders, along with Naruto, by performing various odd jobs. After a bandit attacks, they go on a search for Menma&#039;s memories along with Neji and Tenten. He eventually sacrifices himself in order to set off an explosion to prevent the bandits from flooding the village, saving the village. Menma&#039;s death noticeably affected Naruto, who soon after pretended to have the &quot;legendary fermented ramen&quot; with Menma&#039;s ocarina, the last remaining memento of Menma.    Menma was able to use ninjutsu with his ocarina (similar to Tayuya&#039;s abilities), enhancing an individual&#039;s strength and speed, and could move more quickly than Neji did at top speed. These abilities caused Neji and Tenten to suspect that he was a ninja from the Land of Sound.

He was given order from the king to wait at the captured castle until Souta the key holder comes, and tell him, &quot;I believe in you&quot;(meaning the king believes Souta will save the magic world).
