Shinobu is the star of the series. She is kind, hardworking, and dedicated, but naive and somewhat clumsy with complex tasks. She is usually charged with taking care of her dojo because everyone else is too lazy. She usually wears a purple and pink ninja outfit, but sometimes wears other costumes. Her ambiguous relationship with Kaede, whom she describes as &quot;more than a friend but less than a lover&quot;, ranges from admiration and idolization to romantic interest. However, it seems that this may only be her own way of denying interest in Kaede, as she clearly exhibits a strong sexual desire for the other girl. Despite the influence of Onsokumaru, she remains fairly innocent.

Ikkou and Chitose are called by studio producers after they hear weird voices in a CD recording; when Ikkou and Chitose get to the studio and start praying, she comes out.   ~!She is still wandering this world because she died in a car accident when she was going to the studio for her first day of recording, so she borrows Chitose's body to sing through her.   It is later revealed that she didn't die in the car accident; she took her life because her boyfriend was left in a coma and the doctors told her she wouldn't recover.  After her boyfriend awakens from the coma, she then feels relieved and is able to leave the world of the living.!~

The wife of Shigemaru and a supposed beauty. Shigemaru fell madly in love with her, forcing him to obey her every will. They met when Shigemaru went hunting and happened to see them.     ~!She was originally another man&#039;s wife but Shigemaru craved for her and ended up killing Akiko&#039;s helper and husband. Upon returning to his house, he carried her because she threatened she won&#039;t be her wife if he did otherwise.    She ordered Shigemaru to kill his ex-wives or else she won&#039;t be his wife. So he killed every one of them except for the youngest which she also ordered to spare. When they finally moved to the city, she got bored and told Shigemaru to bring something fun home. Shigemaru beheaded the people she would request for i.e. priest, shrine maiden etc. Every night she would play with these heads with glee. In the end, Shigemaru realized that she was a demon. !~

Oboro is selected as one of the ten Iga clan members that will oppose and fight the Kouga. She gains leadership of the clan after her Grandmother, Ogen, dies. ~!Soon to be replaced by Tenzen, who considered her incapable of leadership because of her passive demeanor. If permitted to marry before the peace treaty was lifted, Oboro knows she could have saved many lives, both Iga and Kouga. But since she couldn&#039;t, she is forced to be an enemy of her child-hood love, Gennosuke.!~ Oboro is a very peaceful and gentle girl, her reluctence to kill her enemies shows this. She often goes to visit the graves of her relatives as they die to pray for them to proceed into the after life, but since the graves are so distant from each other this is a tiring progress, however Oboro insists she must as it&#039;s &quot;Showing them the respect they deserve&quot;, and has repeated this process for years since the death of her nurse who was a mother figure to her until she died.~!She is not exceptional in any ninja combat, but does have an eye technique which can strip any ninja of their powers. This eye technique can develop if she has enough hatred in her, and result in mutilating the enemy instead. This was the hidden ability of her eye-technique that very few were aware of, including Oboro herself. She makes the decision to temporarily seal her eyes shut with a potion given to her by Ogen long ago called the &quot;Seven Days of Darkness&quot;, knowing that if she saw any of her clansmen attacking Gennosuke, she might be tempted to use her powers against them instead.!~     ~!Despite her obvious love and devotion for Gennosuke, Oboro has gained the interest of other ninjas too. Tenzen lusts after Oboro and desires to take her for his wife in order to become the true lord of Tsubagakure. Even if he has to rape her to do it - which he attempts at least twice over the course of the series. Koshirou is completely devoted to Oboro and holds romantic feelings for her, however as Tenzen&#039;s apprentice he&#039;s obligated to follow his sensei&#039;s orders regardless of how he personally feels. She thinks that he&#039;s faking.     ~!Kotobuki actually met Konoha in junior high school once, and since that time, she&#039;s been watching him from behind.  She knows that Konoha was happy because Miu was there, but she feels that he was actually not happy when she saw him again on high school.  That&#039;s why it looks like Kotobuki doesn&#039;t like Konoha.  She actually likes Konoha and feels hurt about the way Konoha acts now.    Even though she was Konoha&#039;s girlfriend in most of the story, Konoha chose Touko over her after what happened in &quot;Romantie&quot; book.  Even though Konoha no longer chose her, she still likes him and is his best friend.    There was a time Nanase tried to avoid Konoha and even wanted to get him feel the pain in Minarai series.  After she was rejected by Konoha, she tried to forget him and warned Hinosaka to not get involved with Konoha.  She only wanted to be with Konoha who doesn&#039;t write novels at all, because his personality/expression changes when writing a novel.  She was the one who told Konoha, who was afraid of writing novels, that it&#039;s ok to not write novels and she still be with him.  After she told Hinosaka her feelings and the whole event in book 2 (but not Shoushin), her heart is lightened and tries to continue loving Konoha.!~

She was the number one in the first generation of female Claymores and the youngest ever to awaken. She presents herself as cheerful and polite, though she will instantly discard anyone who gets in the way of her goals. She lives with her lover, Dauf, and she constantly attempts to force strong Claymores to awaken, often through torture, in order to increase her companions. She later focuses her interest on matching Isley and Priscilla&#039;s power in order to stop them from advancing into her territory, and she finds the merged form of Rafaela and Luciela. She wishes to awaken the new being, and captures Ren&eacute;e for that reason.    Riful&#039;s awakened form retains a feminine humanoid form, but one composed of fleshy strips. Her lower body is an immense mass of such strips, which are incredibly resilient and capable of lashing out at high speeds to ensnare or impale her opponents. Her enemies often attempt to attack the humanoid portion, though it simply splits into the strips when attacked.     ~!After Rafaela/Luciela&#039;s Awakening and the chaos that ensued, Riful was attacked by the Abyssal Feeders and Alicia, and was rendered too weak to use her Awakened Form and left with one human leg remaining (forcing her to use some of her &quot;tentacles&quot; to help her stay upright). She burst into tears at the thought of dying like this and begged Dauf not to help her in fear of him dying. Before Alicia could kill her, Beth&#039;s Awakening and fight against Priscilla caused Alicia to abandon Riful and assist her sister, although she was killed in the process. This doesn&#039;t last for long, as Priscilla finds her Yoki and presumable kills Dauf and her. It turns out Duaf lived but deliberately according to Priscilla let himself be infected with the Destroyers Projectiles. After a surprise attack on Priscilla where he pounds her into the ground Duaf throws the top half of Riful&#039;s body on the ground. Deneve and Helen presume its a human woman&#039;s corpse which shows she has died as she emits no yoki and doesn&#039;t move.!~

She has a strong sense of justice and a sharp intuition. Kirihara became a policewoman in order to protect the weak, has a distaste for smokers due to their smell, and is sensitive about the exposure of her body. She likes eating greasy food but claims to stay fit due to constantly moving around everyday as part of her job. An extremely intelligent individual who is friendly at the same time, but her curiosity tends to get the better of her in various situations. Has a lot of friends in the Knights of Biscotti. Working hard to solve Cinque's "problem", and is always intrigued by machinery that she does not know about and wants to analyze them. Tends to finish her sentences with ~de arimasu.

Cinque's older cousin and an acquaintance to Becky. She is also Cinque's rival in the Iron Athletics (アイアンアスレチック Aian Asurechikku?), a game closely related to Ninja Warrior. In the second season, Nanami is summoned to Flonyard by Leonmitchelle to serve as a heroine under her, in the same fashion as Cinque is chosen as Milhiore's hero.

A teen genius, Sieglinde graduated from college at the age of nine and is the heir to the Baumgarde fortune. She is chosen to become a Dragonaut for the Lindwurm Unit, and her dragon partner is Amadeus, who is named after her now-deceased dog. Wrath is a special case among the homunculi in that he can perform alchemy, but does not have an &quot;Ultimate&quot; trait like the other homunculi, although some consider his alchemy to be &quot;the Ultimate Alchemy&quot;.  Like Edward, he does not need to draw a transmutation circle.  Wrath can perform alchemy on material that no other alchemist can, such as a bed or his own body.     ~!It&#039;s revealed that Wrath is in possession of Edwards lost limbs, explaining why he can perform alchemy when the other homunculi cannot.  Wrath seeks to take the rest of Edwards&rsquo;s body for himself, hoping to become a full human.  Because Wrath is so young and spent most of his life in The Gate, he developed a mother-son relationship with Sloth, and will do anything to protect her. Lan Fan is one of two bodyguards of Ling Yao and the granddaughter of Ling's other bodyguard, Fu. She is very quiet and cares deeply for Ling. As a result, she is constantly thinking of his safety and often forgets her own. Lan Fan is a very skilled fighter and is able to sense the presence of a soul (referred to as chi); thus she can quickly identify Homunculi like Envy that have more than one soul in their Philosopher's Stones (meaning she can easily see through Envy's disguises). Although we are never told her age Ling refers to her as a "girl" so we can assume that she and Ling are around the same age.   ~!After being heavily injured by the Führer himself, Lan Fan sacrifices her arm to help Ling and herself escape. Later, She leaves with Fu to have an automail arm made for her. Lan Fan comes back six months later with an automail left arm. Lydia Carlton, the daughter of Professor Carlton, is a 17 year old fairy doctor. She has the rare power to see fairies, an ability she inherited from her mother. Lydia also possesses green eyes, a trait of those with the gift to see fairies. She is independent and kind, Lydia doesn&#039;t hesitate to help others. She loves her father dearly and will do anything for him. She ends up working for Edgar as his consultant on fairy-related matters after helping him retrieve the Merrow&#039;s Sword (key to him being recognized as the Blue Knight Earl by the Queen of England). Because of past difficulties, Lydia dislikes the idea of falling in love and even seems to be afraid of it. When she was a child, she was given a love letter by a boy who - as it turns out later - was dared to do so by his friends, crushing her. She also cast a spell on Kelpie so that he would not come near her, as his aggressive advances were troublesome to her. She doesn&#039;t believe Edgar when he reveals his love for her, and only believes he is just being his usual playboy self.    Her goal is to become a full-fledged fairy doctor, and frequently places herself in danger willingly when it comes to anything to do with problems between humans and fairies.    She appears to have some self-esteem issues, referring to her own hair as &quot;rust-colored&quot; and comparing herself to her mother, who was apparently a woman of considerable beauty; everyone who knew her mother before she passed away says that they don&#039;t look anything alike. Once, in an outburst, she confesses to Paul Ferman that she thinks that she isn&#039;t cute at all, and that it&#039;s part of the reason why she tries so hard to help in other ways (by working hard).    Lydia currently is considered Edgar&#039;s fiancee, a status she vehemently denies, despite Edgar&#039;s courtship of her and multiple fairies calling her that. She obtained this status when she accepted a moonstone ring (previously owned by Gwendolen, the countess of one of the past Blue Knight Earls before Edgar), which effectively meant that she accepted his proposal. The moonstone ring apparently has some protective powers of its own; it prevented Lydia&#039;s soul from being fully trapped by the fairy world in volume 6 of the novel series, as well as enabling Lydia to break Kelpie&#039;s spell on her when he tried to bring her to the fairy world by magic (to prevent her from being hurt in the crossfire between Edgar and the Prince).

She is admired by many of her fellow actors and fans because of the fact that she has a great amount of power and strength in her singing voice, which surprises many fans due to her regularly petite stature. She was also the winner of the "Best Musical Performance" award in the first Seiyuu Awards. She was also part of the quartet Prits alongside Yumiko Kobayashi, Natsuko Kuwatani, and Hisayo Mochizuki (all four voiced characters in the anime _Sister Princess_). Her singing style comes from singing Enka since she was young.

In July 2020, she married someone from the music industry, and they had their first child on March 16, 2021.
