Kaji is in the same grade as Ayu and Nina, and is also the school idol. He is considered cool and always has a nice smile. All his fans are constantly giving him presents, and he even has admirers from the 3rd grade.   However, this is only his outer mask. Yuuta Takemoto is a second-year student at the art college. He is from Annaka city, Gunma-ken. He lives in the same apartment complex as Mayama and Morita in room 202. His floormates are Morita and Hasegawa. Takemoto studies architecture, but has little certainty as to what he wishes to do upon graduating; his decision to attend art college was because he liked to build things with his hands, like he had with his father.  Takemoto is one of the more mellow characters in the series. He falls in love with Hagu immediately after being introduced by his professor and keeps his feelings to himself throughout most of the series. His love for Hagu and his inability to act upon his feelings as freely as Morita causes some internal problems for Takemoto. For example, when Hagu received a bird brooch that was made for her as an anonymous present, Takemoto couldn't bring himself to say that Morita was the one who had made it for her. Instead of acting on his feelings, Takemoto decides to be more of a brother figure to Hagu, giving her friendly support when needed. For example, Takemoto accepts Hagu's requests to build her sophisticated dollhouses and the like. Takemoto is very close to her.  His relationship with his family also contributes to his mellow mood. His father died when he was still young. Also, his mother works at a hospital as a nurse, so Takemoto would usually spend a lot of his time there, even his Christmas holidays. Furthermore, Takemoto is uncomfortable with his mother's new husband, an outspoken man whose persona seems to a polar opposite to that of his father. However, Takemoto tries to get used to his company and tries to accept the fact that his step-father is capable of looking after his mother, since Takemoto has worried about his mother's well-being ever since he left home. His mother's remarriage and her assurance that he is now free to do as he wishes instead of taking care of her all the time later influenced Takemoto's decision to attend art college.  Later in the series Takemoto has to stay another year due to getting a stomach ulcer and not being able to complete his graduation thesis.   ~! During the end of the first season, Takemoto goes on a journey across Japan on a bicycle, meeting several people on the way, including a group in Zuigan-ji in Matsushima which is involved in the renovating of ancient Japanese structures and buildings all around the country (which he wishes to join), finally reaching Cape Sōya in Wakkanai, Hokkaidō. After arriving back to Tokyo, he finally confesses his feelings for Hagu, but she did not have the courage to answer him, thus Takemoto figured his feelings for her were unrequited.  !~

He refers to the other members of the club as "Special Correspondents" and often gets very in to his work. Koji Minamoto is a main character in the Digimon anime series &quot;Digimon Frontier&quot;. In this series, a group of chosen human children were given the ability to turn into digimon.    Koji was the child chosen to wield the Spirit of Light. Koji starts the series as the group loner - a kid who wanted friends, but never had the chance to make any because he had to change schools too many times. Koji receives Ophanimon's cell phone message while he was out buying flowers for his stepmother. He followed the instructions on the SMS, which led to a subway station where a Trailmon took him to the Digital World.    Koji travelled alone until he met Tommy and J.P. and had to save the two from a horde of attacking Pagumon. From then on, Koji showed up to help the other Digi Destined from time to time, and then eventually joins the group permanently. He often distances himself from the others, refusing to let anyone get too close to him. This was revealed to be because he moved a lot, and believes that no matter how close two people can get, something pulls them apart, so he stops trying to make friends and be, as he puts it, 'better prepared for it.' Originally, he is rather cold and rude towards the other DigiDestined, but eventually softens up as he becomes closer to them.    Koji has a rough relationship with his stepmother Satomi, whom he insists is : &quot;Not my mom!&quot; As such, he is distant from his father, who often tries pushing Koji into trying to get along better with her. Around halfway through the series, Koji realises that Satomi wasn't trying to take his real mother's place, but only wanted to be a part of his family. Upon returning to the real world, Koji decides to give her a second chance.    Koji also meets his twin brother, Kouichi Kimura, for the first time in the Digital World. Koji's parents had split up when they were young, and his mother had moved out with Kouichi Kimura and their grandmother. Koji's father remarried, told Koji that his mother had died, and never informed him of his twin brother. As such, Koji never knew he had a brother, let alone a twin.    Ironically, Koji was the last to find out that Kouichi, in the Digital World, was only spirit with a semi-physical form (in the real world, Kouichi fell down a flight of stairs and went into a coma). Bokomon overheard the conversation between Kouichi and Crusadermon, and was forced into telling the others (Takuya, Zoe, J.P, and Tommy) while Koji and Kouichi were out of hearing range. Perhaps the most reluctant of the bronze saints, Shun is the official Bronze Saint of the Andromeda constellation. He is a merciful soul by nature, and a firm believer in solving problems without causing bloodshed. This creates a sharp contrast between himself and the rest of the Saints: Whereas they will not hesitate to battle when the situation demands it, Shun only allows himself to fight if it's an absolute necessity, or when his almost endless patience wears off. When any of these things happen, Shun becomes an extremely vicious fighter.

Shun comes off rather badly in the Movies and 'Asgard' arc. In almost every fight scene, he almost always loses, and needs his brother Ikki to rescue him (except against Mizar Zeta Syd, the one time Shun defeated a foe in either the Movies or 'Asgard' story).

However, in the 'Sanctuary', 'Poseidon' and 'Hades' storylines, Shun comes off as a good, if reluctant fighter. In 'Sanctuary', he manages to hold his own against Gemini Saga, and even manages to kill Pisces Aphrodite, both of them Gold Saints. In 'Poseidon', he acquits himself nicely, defeating Io, the Southern Pacific Mariner General of Scylla, and Sorrento, the Southern Atlantic Mariner General of Siren. In 'Hades', he manages to dispatch various opponents. As a result, he comes off looking much better in these arcs than in the Movies or 'Asgard'; though he may be reluctant to fight, he will when he has to, and is just as powerful or skilled as any of the other main Bronze Saints (Shiryu, Hyoga, etc.)

A mysterious wandering man with a vast knowledge of the supernatural and is mystical in appearance. He carries around a large wooden box filled with medicine and holy tools. Among them is an enchanted sword that is used to slay the mononoke. To use the sword, the Medicine Seller must find the "Katachi" (shape), "Makoto" (truth), and "Kotowari" (reasoning) of the mononoke he wishes to exorcise. Once the sword has been unsheathed, he transforms into a demon-like creature.

While his origins are unknown, it is clear that the Medicine Seller is not human or at least not entirely human; he has elf-like ears, and pointy canine teeth. Even in the time-skip Bakeneko arc, the Medicine Seller still appears as the same handsome youth from the previous arcs (the only differences in his appearance from previous arcs is he now wears small round red stud earrings and a ring on his index finger).~!It was revealed in the Umibozu episode when the ayakashi asked the passenger's fears, the Medicine Seller calmly answers he is afraid that there is no form, truth, or reason at the edge of the world, thus no longer having a reason to exist.!~

A high school teacher and the youngest son of the Itoshiki family. He always wears a hakama and kimono abroad, preferring flippant casual western clothing in his hometown. When his name is written horizontally it resembles zetsubou ("beyond hope" or "despair"), befitting his extremely negative, paranoid and pessimistic attitude.

He often shouts "I'm in despair!" and attempts suicide several times, though rarely with serious intent. Most of the main girls seem to have feelings for him, but only because they misunderstand what he said to each of them (during the episodes introducing them). 

His negative personality started blossoming when he was in his first year of high school when he "accidentally" joined a "Negative Club". He is based upon the main character from Dazai Osamu's No Longer Human, which is both Nozomu's and the author's favorite novel.

Tieria seems rather stoic and distant, although also proud and arrogant. Constantly believing he has the best interests of Celestial Being in mind, he rarely acts out of impulse, and has little patience for the impertinent. To this end, he often clashes verbally with the other Gundam Meisters, as well as their "superior", Sumeragi Lee Noriega, on topics ranging from insubordination to ideology. Tieria is often noted for being on an extremely high horse, looking down upon others.

Tieria also shows an unnatural loyalty to Veda, the supercomputer of Celestial Being, which Tieria can directly interface with. This link between Tieria and Veda can explain Tieria's holier-than-thou attitude, and his belief that he is a judge of the members of Celestial Being. Tieria is shown to also be rather intelligent, and capable of making competent snap decisions. This direct connection with Veda permits him to know more about Celestial Being than his fellow Meisters.

At the start of the series, he has an extremely rocky relationship with Setsuna; the former does not understand why the latter was chosen by Veda as a Gundam Meister, and believes Setsuna's brash actions and random insubordination will breach the code of secrecy of Celestial Being. However, Tieria eventually found common ground with Setsuna in their vehement dislike of Team Trinity, even going so far as to back him up when he decides to combat them; this unexpected move, along with the teamwork strategies used in the battle, surprises the rest of Celestial Being.


~!Recently, cracks in Tieria's cold exterior have become prominent, showing a softer and more vulnerable side that contrasts greatly with the emotionless and superior Meister he seemed to be. After Lockon Stratos is injured protecting them from an enemy attack, Tieria displays a great amount of guilt and remorse. He angrily blames himself for Lockon's injury, even going so far as to call himself unfit to be a Gundam Meister. Lockon comforts him, yet afterwards when Tieria regains his composure he reverts back to his old habit of snapping at his comrades.

When UN Army forces attacked the Meisters, Tieria locked Lockon in a room to prevent him from entering the battle, saying to Allelujah that he will protect Lockon, just as Lockon himself had saved him. They become increasingly concerned when Lockon manages to join the fight, and later when he disappears chasing Ali Al-Saachez. Just like the other Meisters, he is seen crying when he realizes Lockon has been killed. Following the return of the three remaining Meisters to the Ptolemaios, Tieria takes his anger out on Setsuna, blaming his being "slow" as the reason for Lockon's death. Seeing this, Sumeragi breaks up the fight by promptly slapping Tieria across the face. Shortly afterwards, as Nadleeh is being repaired, Tieria vows to Allelujah that he will fight back for Lockon's sake, despite the former's warning.

Soon after entering battle with the force of GN-X units plus Alejandro Corner's mobile armour, Alvatore, Tieria activates Nadleeh's Trans-Am system; however, Nadleeh soon loses a limb and the Trans-Am is deactivated, leaving it vulnerable to the two GN-X units that attack it, one of them being piloted by Patrick Colasour. The two fire at each other simultaneously; while Tieria's shot destroys the GN-X and disables Patrick, Nadleeh is reduced to a mere torso.  Tieria is last seen in the cockpit of the Nadleeh, struggling to eject its GN Drive before losing consciousness, saying he is "going to where Lockon is".  However, Tieria is confirmed to appear in season 2, piloting the Seravee Gundam.!~

Tsurugi often helps Misao find her lost pets. He has a serious, conservative demeanor and gets top grades in his class. A student at Tomobiki High School, Class 2-4, Ataru suffers from an incredible amount of bad luck, having been born on the unluckiest day of the Bhuddist calendar. He is very lecherous, stupid, and lazy. Though he often tries to escape from Lum and flirts with other women, he really does have feelings for her. Ataru's main goal in life is to live in the center of a harem composed of exotic and beautiful women (including Lum and most of her alien friends). His pick-up techniques would creep out most stalkers. Usually, he just walks up to a woman he's never met before and asks for her name, phone number, and address. Once he decides to go after a particular female, virtually no force on Earth (or from outer space) can stop him. He refused to admit it but, deep down, he proved in the later episodes that it was Lum that he truly loved.

Peganosuke is Yunihiko's twin brother, who works delivering packages. He is very shy and timid, but quickly befriends Uruno, due to their shared uselessness. Kouhei is a photographer who, due to an accident involving paranormal forces in his early childhood, is oblivious to spirits and the supernatural (which he specializes in photographing). Alto's classmate and friendly rival. He is an excellent marksman, and his motto is to always acquire his targets, be it an enemy or a woman—maintaining his reputation as a considerable ladies' man. When his name is written horizontally, it resembles zetsumei (絶命, zetsumei &quot;death&quot;), which explains why his hospital is rarely visited by town&#039;s residents.

He has a tendency of losing control of himself whenever his name is brought up, especially if he is referred as &quot;Zetsumei-sensei&quot; (&quot;Dr. Death&quot;).

Rei is a student at Meisho Number 1  High School. He is also known as &quot;#1&quot;, due to the fact that he was featured in a magazine as being the coolest and most handsome teenage guy in the area. He is good friends with Yuya.
