The pilot of the Gundam Deathscythe, Duo is as jolly and happy-go-lucky as Gundam pilots get. He persists in offering his friendship to the initially hostile Heero, eventually winning his antisocial comrade's trust through sheer persistence. But despite his friendly nature, Duo earns his "God of Death" nickname when he takes on Alliance and OZ soldiers in battle.  Prior to Operation Meteor, Duo was part of the spacegoing salvage organization known as the Sweeper Group, and on Earth he is assisted by the Sweepers' seafaring kinsfolk. When there is a lull in the fighting, Duo happily returns to his salvage-merchant's trade. He is distinguished by his black wardrobe, his yard-long plait and his minister's collar.

Rey is a quiet, calm, and polite soldier who keeps himself out of other people's way, he gladly follows his orders no matter what they might be. He is also extremely loyal to the Chairman of the PLANTs Gilbert Durandal, Rey is also shown to have a past with the mysterious Rau Le Creuset.

Genjou Sanzo, commonly referred to as simply Sanzo, is hardly the traditional image of a Buddhist priest; he is ill-tempered, swears, eats meat, drinks, and is usually seen with a cigarette hanging from his lips. As a Sanzo priest, he is tasked with protecting the sacred Maten Scripture, one of The Founding Scriptures of Heaven and Earth. The Maten's government over evil and the principle of yin allows Sanzo to banish demons and purify evil. Sanzo also possesses a Smith & Wesson _shoureijuu_ (banishing gun), which he is often seen wielding in battle.<br><br>

At the start of the story, he was bidden by the _Sanbutsushin_ (Three Aspects) and Kanzeon Bosatsu to journey to India with his three companions to stop the resurrection of the demon King Gyumaoh.

He is a lonely, proud, fiery-spirited high school student who has suffered from a violent father, was separated from his divorced mother, and is living in Matsumoto.

The true identity of Benitora is Tokugawa Hidetada. His father, Tokugawa Ieyasu, ordered him to spy on Kyo, but Benitora does this for fun and serves as the comic relief of the group. His weapon is the Hokuraku Shimon (Demon Spear) created by Muramasa. He falls in love with Yuya the first time he meets her and tends to be over-protective of her. In order to hide his true identity as heir to the Shogunate from her, he speaks with a noticeable Kansai accent when near her.  He first meets Kyoshiro in volume 2, mistaking him for Kyo. After sparring with Kyoshiro, he decides to join the group. When Kyo awakens in volume 3, he makes Benitora his #2 servant after a short fight.  During the Forest Arc, he fights a former fellow disciple of his master, Mekira II. Mekira has the upper hand for most of the fight thanks to a hypnotic technique, but Benitora eventually sees through it and kills Mekira with a special technique of his own, although doing so exacerbates his injuries.  When Nobunaga reappears and overwhelms Kyo, Benitora intervenes, blocking the killing blow and briefly fighting Nobunaga one-on-one. He is completely outmatched, but eventually manages to unhorse Nobunaga with another secret technique, the reverse Hassun, almost killing himself in the process; he is saved from death at Nobunaga's hands by the revitalized Kyo.  He had a great part in Mibu arc, he fought Taihaku, the leader of Goyosei and won. He also fight against Crimson Tower army while his friend Akira battled with Tokito. In the last battle he and Sasuke successfully retrieved the Crimson King heart.  In the bonus chapter he continued study to lead Japan in future with Mahiro in his side. It is earlier implied in his fight against the real Kubira that it's Mahiro, not Yuya, that he really has feelings for.

Legato was recruited by Knives after the July incident to make Vash's life a living hell, though the nightmare doesn't really begin until about midway through the series. From that point on, this man continues to weave a living nightmare for Vash, not only on his own but also through the gang of eleven superpowered killers who are under his command: the Gung-Ho Guns.

Legato himself possesses a dark power: the ability to control people's bodies against their will. 
~!His favorite bit of poetic justice is to make gangs of people who oppose him shoot each other, and this special power is what finally forces Vash to cross the line he promised himself he'd never cross. By controlling some villagers and pointing their guns at Meryl and Milly, he forced Vash into a choice between two unacceptable options: either allow the girls to die, or take the only possible action to save them...and kill him.    

Legato's telekinetic powers come from the fact that he has Vash's left arm. When Knives shot it off, it was attached to Legato. This is why Legato can control other people's bodies (originally one of Vash's and Knives' powers) and can activate Vash's angel arm the same way Knives did in July.    

It is unclear how Vash's arm was transplanted to Legato, since Vash is a humanoid plant and Legato is human. One might think that perhaps Legato is also a humanoid plant, but it is made clear in the series that Legato is human and hates himself because of it. Thus we can only assume that Knives somehow "reconstructed" and modified Legato in some way.!~

Rad is a cyborg and member of the Aswad. While originally human, the mysterious disease that plagues that Aswad progressed to a point where he had to have his nervous system and brain implanted in a metal body to continue living. 14 years prior to the main events of My-Otome, he was one of the attackers on the Windbloom Kingdom, coming into conflict with the former Otome Rena Sayers and killing her. He can summon a dog-like slave similar to a Cerebrus and fights witha double-bladed spear. His body is now expiring, which would result in his eventual death.

Char is one of the most feared pilots of the Principality of Zeon. During his first battle at Loum, Char was able to destroy five Federation Salamis-class ships on his own. He was given the title of "Red Comet" for his fast movements and his red colored Zaku II. Char had been following the White Base crew throughout the One Year War, U.C. 0079. He met with [Amuro](https://anilist.co/character/1335) several times and engaged in many of the most epic battles in Mobile Suit warfare history.

During the One Year War, Char used predominantly red mobile suits. After the War between the Zeon and the Federation, Char joined the AEUG, ~!under the name Quattro Bajeena, to help them liberate the oppressed colonies from the hands of the Titans. In the AEUG he was an instructor, commander, and later leader of the AEUG after the assassination of the former leader.!~

Kaien Shiba was the lieutenant of the 13th Division, under Juushiro Ukitake, up until his death at the hands of a Hollow that also killed his wife, Miyako Shiba.    Kaien, a very ethical man, was adored by many of the 13th Division members. He was outspoken and bore a rough disposition, but his down-to-earth attitude was one of the reasons why everyone looked up to him. Kaien treated his fellow company members indiscriminately, regardless of their social standing or rank. Because of this, he was popular among aristocrats and commoners alike within his Division.    He was the first person in Seireitei to treat Rukia like an ordinary person since her adoption into the Kuchiki family. Until he came along, she was treated with careful respect to her face and talked about and bashed behind her back. She was grateful for the fact that Kaien treated her as an equal, and it has been hinted that Rukia may have come to develop romantic feelings for him because of this. She didn&rsquo;t pursue him because Kaien was already married to the third seat of the 13th Division, Miyako Shiba.    Kaien believed that one&#039;s &quot;heart&quot; was determined based on the prospects of fighting and protecting. He was a firm believer in Captain Ukitake&#039;s policy on fighting, which consists of two types of combat: 1) The fight to protect life, and 2) The fight to protect honor. Kaien took it a step further and believed they both end up being the same thing: &quot;Heart.&quot; He believed that every time one connected with another, a little bit of &quot;heart&quot; is born between them. He thought of &quot;heart&quot; as not something inside you, but rather what is born whenever you think of, or remember, someone else. He believed that one&#039;s &quot;heart&quot; exists in others, and that it remains with his or her comrades even after death. Having held such views, he believed that people should never die alone. Kaien&#039;s favorite food was ohagi, and he liked to take afternoon naps if he could.

Iruka Umino is an instructor at the Ninja Academy, characterized by the distinctive scar across his face that he has had since childhood. The name "Umino Iruka" can be taken as "umi no iruka" ("sea dolphin").   Twelve to thirteen years ago, the [Nine-Tailed Demon Fox](https://anilist.co/character/7407/Kurama) attacked Konoha, killing many people. Iruka's parents were still out fighting the Fox and were killed. Iruka was dragged back for protection by an unknown ninja but wanted to stay where he was. After it was over, everyone in the Ninja Academy made fun of him and made him feel just like [Naruto Uzumaki](https://anilist.co/character/17/Uzumaki-Naruto).

Cid from FF:U is very cheerful, optimistic and a whiz at anything electronic.    He&#039;s a quirky fellow who names his machines and inventions after woman and treating them as if they are breathing human beings.  One could say that is a trait of Cid Highwind as he did a similar thing with his airships, I believe. Bleed Kaga was a former 'Crash Racer' racing on the fringes of recognized professional racing. These racing often dangerous and resulting in death gave him a plethora of skills he passed on to then rookie driver Hayato Kazami when they met on the highways of Japan.They quickly became friends which was complicated when Bleed, always chasing the big money made the jump to the new Aoi ZIP Formula team formed when Aoi began to lose confidence in their rising star Naoki Shinjou.

Bleed and Hayato would first be friends then rivals as their goals in racing began to clash.

Count D is the owner of the Pet Shop in Chinatown. He sells many rare and mysterious pets. Though he denies the name is "Count D"—claiming that this title belongs only to his grandfather, the shop's true owner—most humans refer to him by this name. He runs a pet shop in Chinatown while the shop's alleged true owner is travelling abroad. 

He appears fonder of animals than humans and displays a love of the natural world. He usually appears calm and soft-spoken. He enjoys drinking tea and has a special fondness for confectionery.


Caste: Mongrel  Occupation: Gang member    Riki has been called the &#039;Charisma&#039; of the slums.  He was the leader of Bison, a gang in Ceres, before he fell in with Iason and became his pet.      Riki is proud, fierce and defiant, though his experiences change him and some in the slums feel he has lost his spark.  He is torn between his pride and the feelings he has for Iason that he is unwilling to acknowledge.

The Novena Espada, signified by the "9" tattooed to his two faces. He has an unusual glass capsule filled with red liquid and two floating masks in place of a head, which he usually covers with a tall white mask. The two masks tend to talk in tandem when revealed, giving the effect of two people speaking in turn. The upper mask speaks with a deep voice while the lower mask speaks in a high-pitched, child-like voice, and they appear to have a level of individuality as the lower mask is more afraid of death, screaming blasphemy to Aizen when he dies while the upper mask merely curses one word. He is the last of the first-generation Espada.

Reito is the vice president of the Fuka Academy student council. He is quite popular with the female students and is interested in Mai.     ~!It is eventually revealed that he is the host of the Obsidian Lord, the main villain of the series. Nagi also divulges that he is actually Reito Minagi, the missing elder brother of Mikoto. Using this fact as leverage, the Obsidian Lord controls Reito into making Mikoto fight the other HiMEs, but he is eventually defeated and Reito is freed of the possession.!~

Makoto Isshiki is a Mulian who works for TERRA. He is a clone sharing the DNA of Ernst von B&auml;hbem. He has an inferiority complex which stems from being a D-ranked Mulian as a child when he was staying at the Bahbem Institute. He had abilities beyond what was expected of a D type, but he failed to recognize praise from others and let the &quot;D&quot; rating stop him. Because of this, he feels that he has to constantly prove himself. He also has an extremely haughty and arrogant attitude, and is contemptuous and dismissive of Ayato.

Takizawa Noboru transfers to a school where all disputes are settled through fighting. He quickly runs afoul of the school bully, Ibuki Saburo, who has a boxing match with &quot;God&#039;s Hall Monitor&quot;, Jonichi Koichi, to determine who will date the lovely Yukari. Takizawa is enraptured with Yukari, and decides to intervene in the fight.

The self-titled &quot;Warrior of Love&quot;, Raiel's weapon is the magical music he plays on the golden piano that he carries around with him on his back.  His weakness is females (and panties) and he is prone to excessive nosebleeds.  Hamel and Raiel are childhood friends but an incident in the past has complicated things.  (In the manga they meet as enemies.)

Mitsuhiro works with [Keiichi Ikari](https://anilist.co/character/5130/) in the Metal Bat case, and is often the more understanding of the two. He has a very gentle personality and questions Keiichi's hastiness in his mind. It is thanks to Mitsuhiro that they've been able to get through to many of the witnesses and victims of Metal Bat's attacks.

Mousse is a long-time friend of Shampoo, though she might not view it that way. He has been in love with her for most of his life, but she finds him annoying at best. He comes to Nerima in search of this &quot;new fianc&eacute;&quot; that Shampoo has, and he stays to attempt to woo his sweetheart. Shampoo rebuked his advances when they were children and this still holds true by Amazon law, even if he manages to defeat Ranma in combat, but he remains persistent. Now a waiter at the Cat Caf&eacute;, he turns into a duck thanks to his own Jusenkyo curse. When in human form, his clothes contain weapons of drastic proportions, including needles, chains, swords, bombs, household appliances, and just about anything else imaginable.
