Dark Schneider is the most powerful sorcerer in the world, which he almost completely took over before being imprisoned in the body of a little boy by Grand (or Great) Priest Geo. Rushe is soft spoken and had a crush on Yoko, which carried over to Dark Schneider. Rushe and Dark Schneider share the same soul, which means they love what each other loves, but that is where it ends: Dark Schneider can be incredibly evil, heartless and lecherous, whereas Rushe is faithful, quiet and friendly. Dark Schneider is immortal—though whether this is conferred upon Rushe is unclear. He can resurrect himself through willpower alone. In the English version, he is also called the Mage of Fire, and, in the Japanese, The Exploder Wizard. Whenever Rushe is kissed by Yoko, Dark Schneider is released, and when Dark Schneider is kissed, Rushe is released, and so on, though Dark Schneider can break the seal himself when extremely angry, and he can control Lushe's body at certain times of night (re-gaining his powers for a while in the process).

"Schneider" is German for "tailor," so his name can be translated as "Dark Tailor"; this seems appropriate, as he can seemingly conjure clothing out of nowhere. His name is a reference to the vocalist of German metal band U.D.O., Udo Dirkschneider. The spell that releases Dark Schneider, "Accept," is a reference to Accept, Udo's former band.

Gaston is the coolest non-commanding soldier in the hawks, and Guts's drinking buddy. He is basically Guts's right hand when it came to the strike team which he led.  ~!Out of all the soldiers who died during the Eclipse he managed to survive the longest, meeting his end just after one last farewell to Guts.!~

Lord Gennon is a high-ranking noble in Chuder. During the early days of the Band of the Hawk, he hired them for a number of jobs. A notorious pedophile, he developed an attraction for Griffith, which culminated when Griffith agreed to sleep with him in exchange for funds to support the growing Band. He is often seen to be attended by many very young male servants, no older than being in their teens. Gennon's voice was done by Masashi Oki in the Japanese version of the original anime and Fred Velde was his English voice actor.   ~!Gennon later rose to become Governor of Doldrey. When General Boscone reveals that the Band of the Hawk's leader is Griffith, his obsession starts to cloud his judgement, which would eventually lead to his defeat. When the Band of the Hawk attacked Doldrey as part of Midland's regular army during the One Hundred Years War, Gennon became so obsessed with capturing Griffith to the detriment of his greater military objectives. Chuder lost the battle, in large part because Gennon overrode the military command structure and took direct control of Chuder's forces, which was all in Griffith's plan. In his final moments, he pleaded with Griffith, telling him that all he wanted was to have him back. This plea fell upon deaf ears as Gennon was killed by Griffith after the main part of Chuder's army fled the battlefield following the death of General Boscone at Guts's hands.!~

Another Betterman who appears later in the series. He has a much darker skin tone and dresses in the raiment reminiscent of a monk. Like Lamia though, he has the tell tale characteristics of his species with red sclera, telepathic communication, and, of course, the ability to take on different fighting forms.

Shinobu was born in the mountain regions of Japan. Shinobu was a cadet of the Australian Space Military Academy before the invasion on the Muge Empire forces. After the school was closed due to destruction, he was transferred to the Far East's Special armoured unit, the Bestial Fighter Troop or Jyusenki Tai (Known in the English version as the Cyber Beast Force). His hobby is hang gliding. Shinobu is an extremely talented pilot, but his rash temper and over confidence tends to land him into situations over his head. Shidoh is a Shinigami whose Death Note is stolen by Ryuk. In fact, Ryuk takes his Note and gives it to Light, which becomes Higuchi's note and is finally passed on to Mello's gang (more specifically, Mello's subordinate, Kal Snyder (also known as Jack Neylon)). Shidoh has a great liking for chocolate. Since Shidoh has neglected to kill people and extend his own lifetime, he probably did not notice that his Note is stolen. As the end of his lifetime approaches, Shidoh finds Ryuk and learns that Mello is in possession of his Note. Later, he finds Snyder in the human world. To regain his Note, Shidoh agrees to help Mello's gang against the SPK and Light. After Light regains the Death Note from Mello, he returns the note to Shidoh for him to stop interfering and return to the Shinigami world. Although these events occurred over the course of about one volume in the manga, Shidoh was only in two episodes in the anime version (episode 28 where he was merely introduced in the last few minutes of the episode, and episode 29, which relays most events of Shidoh's regaining of his Death Note). Along with his partner Kamata, he is feared as Kamakura no Kyouken (The Mad Dogs of Kamakura). This duo were renowned for their brutality, including shoving pencils through people's noses.    ~!However after being beaten by the Oni-Baku, the pair decided to join their gang.!~   Saejima has a malevolent face, so much so that girls are afraid of him and assume he is a Yakuza. He, like Ryuji, comes from a fairly well-to-do family, who are terrified of him- his sisters speak to him through a lock on their bedroom door, and his parents jump at his slightest movement. Saejima rides a Kawasaki.

At the start of the series, Judau and his friends are poor junk dealers at the space colony of Shangri-La in Side 1. Judau is rather loudmouthed and straightfoward, but has a good heart and displays powerful Newtype abilities. He has a younger sister named Leina whom he cares very deeply for. Their parents moved to another colony to find work and they send money back to them.  While scavenging for junk one day, Judau comes across the escape pod of Titans pilot Yazan Gable, who managed to survive the Gryps Conflict that concluded Zeta Gundam. Discovering that the Argama was in port at the same colony, Yazan forcefully brings Judau and his friends along to help attack the ship.

Real name Marco Togni. An agent of Section 2 and Angelica's handler. After being suspended from military service due to an injury to his left eye, Marco was recommended by his friend Dr. Bianchi to be the handler of Angelica, the first child assassin of Section 2. While taking care of Angelica, Marco told her  stories of "The Prince of the Land of Pasta"  a fictional prince who ate only pasta. He spent much time looking for ideas for the story. This fascinated his girlfriend at the time, Patricia, who later wrote and published the storybook "The Prince of the Land of Pasta", a copy of which Marco bought and read for Angelica. As time went on, Marco witnessed Section 2 develop into an effective combat unit and Angelica's tremendous potential as an assassin. Sadly, Angelica also was the first girl to experience the side-effects of the conditioning process, particularly long-term memory loss. Disgusted with the many setbacks that resulted afterwards, Marco felt that any further effort was in vain, and had no desire to continue, and takes an impersonal and critical approach to Angelica's training.
