Potato is a stray dog who is almost always seen with Kirishima Kano. Its main purpose is mostly for comic relief, however it was the reason behind Kano and Yukito&#039;s meeting.     ~!During episode two while Yukito is performing his puppet show outside the local clinic, Potato is the only one who stops and watches. This leads to Kirishima Hijiri, Kano&#039;s older sister, finding Yukito outside of her clinic and offers him work doing odd jobs. Because Potato and Kano are very close, it is through Potato that Yukito and Kano meet.    During the movie adaptation of Air, Potato has a cameo in the anime Misuzu is watching. He does not however, appear at any other time.!~

Hibari's classmate who is her best friend. She is intelligent, mature, and even comes from a wealthy family. Her Pata-Pi is Francesca, one which is an equally intelligent multitasker whom Suzume improves to be &quot;the best&quot;; it transforms into the Diva Hestia. Sai Jounouchi, known as the &quot;Ice Machine,&quot; started playing Angelic Layer at the request of her terminally ill sister Rin. Rin designed what the angel would look like, but died before Sai could create her. As a result, Sai states that her reason for playing Angelic Layer is &quot;to become strong.&quot; Sai is from Kanagawa Prefecture and was the runner-up in the Kantō Regional games in the past year. She is friends with Kaede, who went to the same middle school as Sai. Her angel is Shirahime.

Called Kaorin by all of her peers (and one admirer who is most definitely not a peer), Kaori is a bright girl interested in Astronomy, Arts &amp; Crafts, ...and Miss Sakaki, a beautiful, but very reserved, classmate.  It is Kaori&#039;s great tragedy she is often too abashed merely by the sight of Sakaki to cultivate more of a relationship with the enigmatic object of her affections, but chance does throw the two of them into shared situations now and again. Weapon: Garrote Wire    The sexy, straightforward, sometimes high-maintenance, short-tempered and somewhat nymphomaniac older sister of Tira. She is madly in love with Carrot (whom she more than often calls &quot;Darling&quot;), and literally throws herself at him. Often, Carrot is petrified of her and flees from her advances. Still, she keeps a close bond with Tira, protecting her when it's needed and fighting in her name more than once. She and Gateau are a separate team early in the manga, but eventually all five form a single group.    Chocolate is likewise a dominatrix, but is far more violent and savage than her sister, and is also able to turn Carrot back to normal in the anime &mdash; after beating him up even harder than Tira. Her main weapon is her garrote and she is incredibly skilled with it. It's suggested that her character was inspired by Lum from Urusei Yatsura.    Chocolate's dominatrix attire has a rather dark tone in the manga and OVAs in that she resembles a Nazi German soldier. Consisting of a leather cap (with the Nazi symbols of the eagle carrying the swastika as well as the Gestapo Death's Head), suspenders that barely cover her ample bust, leather pants and boots. (Her dominatrix attire in the manga and OVAs is also reminiscent of that worn by Charlotte Rampling in the 1974 film The Night Porter.) However, in the TV anime, her attire is more reflective of a biker: a slightly modest red leather bra top, along with similar leather pants, boots and cap (sans the Nazi symbol), with red gloves. At the end of the anime, after being reborn, Chocolate appeared in her manga outfit with her sister.    Even though she loves Carrot sincerely, Chocolate is a very jealous girl and is quite vicious and ferocious towards Carrot when she catches him cheating on her, and whips him mercilessly. Normally, however, she is very amorous and romantic towards him, always smothering him in deep love and affection, which is the reason Carrot keeps his distance from her between the two sisters. Chocolate often has romantic/sexual dreams of her and Carrot together. These shōjoesque fantasies usually feature Carrot as very well-groomed and debonair-looking, as well as often ending in Carrot making love to her; in which she often goes into romantic/orgasmic frenzies. Oddly enough, her own image in these fantasies show her to be either meek or submissive, which is a big change from what she truly is.

The leader of the Beet Warriors. He is the younger brother of Zenon and believes very greatly in justice. He claims that he will be the man who ends the Dark Ages with his hands. When he was almost killed by Beltorze,the Zenon Warriors put their life energies into their saiga and gave them to him. Because of this he has all 5 of their saiga even if he doesn&#039;t know how to use them.He is completely incompetent at using the divine attack and ends up hurting himself. He strongly believes that the Zenon Warriors aren&#039;t dead and still looks for them.    Saiga: Burning Lance -- This was the saiga of Laio the master of spears.Laio was the one closest to Beet and taught him Sohjutsu (art of the spear). Because of this Beet uses this saiga more than any other.    Crown Shield -- This was the saiga of Cruss the main defender of the Zenon warriors. At first Beet thought it was useless for anything except defense. When the Phantom Beltorze knocked him out, he remembered it could be used to remove poisons and could turn into a wrecking ball.    Cyclone Gunner -- This is the saiga of the silent Alside. At first Beet could only fire one bullet. He believed this to be because Alside was better than him. After being almost killed by Frausky, Beet relized that the Cyclone Gunner breathed and he had to breath in harmony with it. As he put it, the Cyclone Gunner has no bullets.    Boltic Axe -- This was the saiga of the giant Bluezam. Beet didn&#039;t like using it because it takes too long to come out and he can&#039;t control it. The first time he used it was aganist Grineed.    Excellion Blade -- This was the saiga of Beet&#039;s brother Zenon. He doesn&#039;t use it because he can&#039;t use it properly and breaks it when he tries to. The first time he used it was against the Phantom Beltorze.

Mari's classmate. Due to circumstances at home, she was held back a year. She loves milk, and never fails to have it every day. Although her home situation seems to have bent her character in some ways, she has become a reliable onee - san type. She likes cooking.     Like Mari, Hagino, and Michiko, she lives in Aoumi House residence.

Koume wears a pink jumpsuit, but never acts feminine. She is loud, brash and aggressive due to her stint in the Japan Self-Defense Forces. She was discharged by the SDF and transferred to the TAC as a result of insubordination. Her philosophy is based on the &quot;bigger gun&quot; theory and uses her military mind and muscle to destroy the Aragami. Despite her tough exterior, she is a vulnerable woman who wants to give her love. She has a soft spot for puppies, enjoys playing matchmaker to Momiji and Kusanagi.

Maki is a feisty blonde and quick to take initiative in a fight. With that known its no wonder why she&#039;s knowledgeable about weapons and the first to start firing.   She is also Kenji&#039;s girlfriend.

Maki Kawasaki is the head of Team Warrior. She received the cases from the top brass and deploys the rest of the team. Maki is serious most of the time (don't cross her when she's serious), but she does have a sense of humor, too. She also seems to have a way of pushing the right buttons. At least, Team Warrior doesn't seem to have much of a problem when it comes to favors (especially money).    Maki has a past about which the rest of the team knows almost nothing. Some years back, she has been saved from an attacker by a policeman named Masato. Falling in love with him, she decided to become a cop herself, and the two married after she graduated from the police academy. However, Masato disappeared soon after they married while he was pursuing a case involving black diamonds. She wanted to pursue the case, but the chief of police said she was needed to head up a crack SWAT team to take on the toughest of cases: Team Warrior. Thus, the issue of the black diamonds was put aside, at least for the moment (however, the case will come back into focus in Excess). Kurama&#039;s personal secretary who seems to space out at work often and is often quite clumsy. She is killed by Lucy at the start of the story when she, completely oblivious of what is going on, trips in front of the rampaging Lucy, who tears off her head and uses the body to shield herself from the security team&#039;s gunfire.    In the manga, Kisaragi came across Lucy while walking down the hall. Noticing that she was covered in blood, Kisaragi approached her. Lucy used this opportunity to take her hostage. Since Kurama&#039;s men were unable to get a clear shot of Lucy, Kurama told Kisaragi they had to sacrifice her. Kisaragi did not seem upset after hearing this, instead saying she was happy to give her life if it meant she was helping. Kurama assured her that her death would not be meaningless, but before Kurama could tell his men to shoot, Lucy tore off Kisaragi&#039;s head. After using Kisaragi&#039;s decapitated body as a shield and killing the men, Lucy told Kurama that Kisaragi&#039;s death was meaningless, and left laughing.

Asuka is the Second Child ('Second Children' in the Japanese versions of NGE), who pilots Evangelion Unit 02. She is from Germany, but with an American father and a half-German, half-Japanese mother. In the Rebuild of Evangelion series of movies, her name is changed to Asuka Langley Shikinami.

Tiffany Lynn Grant is an American voice actress who is known for her English-dubbing work with the former ADV Films on such anime films and television series as Neon Genesis Evangelion, in which she voiced the character Asuka Langley Soryu. Grant is also known for portraying Nojiko in One Piece, Altena in Noir, and Ryoko Subaru in Martian Successor Nadesico. Although appearing in ADV titles, she was an independent contractor, not an ADV employee. Grant currently works at FUNimation and Seraphim Digital.

Grant enjoyed her role as Neon Genesis Evangelion's Asuka so much that she briefly reprised the character in the radio plays and fan-produced anime derived from the fanfiction series Neon Genesis Evangelion: R, as well as cosplaying as Asuka (in Asuka's familiar red EVA-02 plugsuit and her school uniform) at anime conventions.
