Minagi Tohno is a smart girl who is the top student in all her classes at school; however, she is very shy, with Michiru as her only friend. One of the things Minagi enjoys the most is studying the stars at night. Together, her and Michiru created the Astronomy Club, which she forces Yukito to join. Minagi&rsquo;s mother and father are separated, with her mother living at home and her father away on business as a train conductor.     ~!Yukito finds out from Hijiri, the local doctor, that Minagi&rsquo;s mother has a mental illness caused by the miscarriage of her second child. When Yukito goes to see Minagi at her house, her mother appears calling Minagi, &lsquo;Michiru&rsquo;; the name she would have called her miscarried child. It is explained that Minagi was closer to her father than her mother, and because of her mother&#039;s wish that her next child be closer to her, she has delusions that Michiru was born and Minagi never existed.    When Minagi talks to Yukito, she talks of her desire to leave, prompting Yukito to take her with him on his journey. However, when they walk to her house, Minagi&rsquo;s mother sees them, causing her memories of the miscarriage return and her delusions to end. With her mother&#039;s illness gone, Minagi invites Michiru to dinner, and her mother is surprised at the coincidence of her friend&#039;s name being the same as her miscarried daughter.    Soon after, Minagi and Yukito go to the school roof where they find Michiru. She explains that she was a wandering spirit who came down to Earth because she saw a sad girl that she wished to make happy.  Now that Minagi is happy, she has to leave. Michiru then vanishes. When Minagi gets home, she is given a letter from her father, explaining that he has re-married and new wife has given birth to a little girl. When Minagi goes to visit, she finds that the daughter is named, and looks exactly like, Michiru.!~

Along with Nakama Yayoi, Emily Adachi  is part of the track team and used to look down on Ikki and his friends. However, after the incident between Ikki and Buccha, she has come to admire them. She and Yayoi are also the first to admonish them whenever they come up with something stupid (which is rather often). She has a big crush on Kazu.    She eventually joins the Kogarasumaru and acts as back-up. Even though her Air Treck skills aren&#039;t all that great, she seems to at times be able to summon up super strength and endurance, like taking hits from powerful storm riders brushing the hits off easily to her super powerful kicks and wrestling moves, through her pure strength of will and &quot;The Power of Love&quot;. Currently she is an official member of Kogarasumaru, during the fight with White Wolf Clan she replaced Buccha after he was beaten by an old man with a cybernetic armor. While fighting, Emily and the others decided to win by beating the other team to a pulp. Currently she doesn&#039;t have a Road.    She plays a crucial part in Kogarasumaru&#039;s entry into the Gram Scale tournament, acting as the &#039;Panther&#039; in an A-class virtual reality battle against a simulated former Sleeping Forest team. It is her grasping of the coveted balloon that ends the game in Kogarasumaru&#039;s favor.

A girl who always fights and teases Suzume a lot. She has an aggressive attitude, as she has a mixed martial arts and professional wrestling background. But she aspires to be a singing star, just like her idol, Hatoko Daikan'yama. Her Pata-Pi is Tetsurou or Tetsu for short, an equally aggressive one who has built-in microphones, whenever she has the urge to sing, and a camera; it transforms into the Diva Athena. Tsugumi's name literally means thrush.

Ryou Misaki is a boy in Misaki&#039;s class who also plays Angelic Layer. He has three angels: Ace, Mark II and Tri. After losing to Misaki he makes a fourth angel named after her.

A faerie companion of Show&#039;s. Cham provides the emotional barometer to the group, and often finds herself more sensitive to the tensions in a situation. She is Show&#039;s cheerleader, and vigorously defends him from enemies and naysayers alike.

Ayumu Kasuga is a transfer student from Osaka. Tomo, expecting her to act like the stereotypical Osakan—loud, exuberant and fond of jokes—chose for her the nickname "Osaka", although Ayumu's behavior could not be more different. Ayumu considers the name "slow" and "spacey", but she lacks the energy or motivation to dispute it. The nickname sticks so well that she is called Osaka by teachers and even in the class roster, to the point that no one remembers her real name. In the manga, Osaka mentions that she lived in Kobe when she was in elementary school and was born in Wakayama. Tomo, who says she doesn't know where Wakayama is, tells Ayumu to "just be Osaka".    ~!Despite the fact that her non sequiturs and tendency to nod off during lectures upset Yukari, she remains in Yukari's homeroom class all three years. She loves kids and is a very cheerful and caring person, but despite this, she is very loyal to Aion. Though she doesn?t like the methods he uses to reach his goals, she sincerely believes in Aion's dream and obeys him nevertheless.  She was a good friend of Magdalene and has a soft spot for Chrno. She doesn?t like to see him suffer, however, her strong loyalty towards Aion does not allow her to help him.

Madame Marciano is a high-ranking official of the Syndicate &quot;Guild&quot; that operates above the law which she broke off from to form another syndicate named &quot;Criminal Guild&quot; not soon after the story started when her motives were questioned by &quot;Guild&quot; members. Untouched by investigators, she commands the 12 Sisters, a squad of hitwomen made up of her robotic &quot;daughters.&quot; Marciano is a cold woman that does not seem to care for the Sisters&#039; well-being. She is also the one responsible for the death of the &quot;pirate king&quot; Bruce 3 years before the story took place. Takeshi is Daisuke's best friend in school and is the son of Police Inspector Saehara, who pursues Dark under the command of Hiwatari Satoshi. He usually serves as comic relief, as he is very excitable, friendly, rude and irresponsible. He is an enthusiastic reporter who uses his father's contacts to his advantage. However, he is rather reckless, proven in his plans, which Hiwatari often justly criticises, calling them ineffective. Saehara also likes to dump his workload, such as homework and cleanup duty, on Daisuke, so he can get out early to find a good spot to get good shots of Dark.    In the anime, Takeshi bribes students with photos; he offers the girls pictures of Dark in exchange for being able to copy their notes and offers Daisuke pictures of Risa Harada in a bikini in exchange for Daisuke cleaning the art room for him.

Ul is a very powerful ice mage that trained both Leon and Gray. While Ul and her first apprentice Leon were walking through a town where the evil demon Deliora had just rampaged they found one lone survivor who happened to be Gray. From that day on Ul had trained both the boys to become ice mages and even began seeing them as her own two sons. She and her elder sister, Xia Yu Fan, were ordered by Gauron to finish off Kaname Chidori in order to mentally break down Sousuke since Gauron knew that he was attached to her ever since Sousuke was assigned to be Kaname&#039;s bodyguard. Later in Japan, she was killed by Leonard&#039;s man-size Arm Slave bodyguard named Alastor by strangling her to death, her corpse being used by Gates to mock Xia Yu Fan. She wears a vest with red linings on it.    Early on, Yu Lan raises her disgust with Gates, the earliest in Balic when Gates shoves the barrel of his CZ-75 pistol on her mouth when Yu Lan mocked his sympathy for a dead Amalgam commando when he shot him in the head without a second thought.
