This is slightly changed in the anime, so that instead of the man coming uncalled when Lotte was already in bed with her mother, he came when Astarotte was heading to her mother's room, so that her mother did not know she was there. The shock of this experience is identified as the origin of Astarotte's hatred toward men.    ~!She is also the Mother of Asuha. Kaede Kurenai is Shou Yanagi&#039;s partner, and a powerful psychic. Her dowsing abilities are a great asset in her role as a Head Diver. She has a past connection with Mugito Mamon and the Superhuman Federation. She marries Shou before the final battle, but contracts Algernon and kills both of them. Their unborn child somehow manages to survive and is rescued by one of the D-Type Hunters. Kaede is voiced by Yuko Minaguchi.

With people who do not know or understand her well, Hotaru is extremely shy and socially awkward, due to her powers and intelligence, but only at first. With her close friends and family, she is a sweet, gentle, young woman with great warmth and spirit. She tends to be independent, having been alone and taking care of herself for quite some time. Hotaru grew up very much alone, sick, and an outcast, shunned by her classmates who were frightened of her. It was not until she met Chibi-Usa that she, at last, had a true friend.   

Kind, generous, friendly, mild elvish princess whose mission is to return back home to Fountain land before the total eclipse of the Sun. Her parents were killed by a monster Scorpion that occupied her homeland. Aboard the Bosco ship she is at first respected as a real princess, but being humble and everything but egocentric, she made clear that she doesn't want guys to call her Princess Apricot, but Apri, a short and convenient nick name which they'll start to use in the first episodes until the end. She is the one that encourages friends to help others in trouble, even though it delays her progress. And often, she notices beautiful sceneries such as flowers, meadows, etc. Her character adds a softer and feminine side to the rest of the crew. She is always ready to help with everything aboard Bosco, and regularly helps Frog with every problem. Apricot and Frog's relationship develops in different way then with Tutty and Otter. Nadeshiko Kinomoto is the mother of the series titular character, Sakura Kinomoto, who died seven years before the series starts. Only seen in flashbacks, photographs, and as a spirit, Nadeshiko was a high school student and professional model when she met and fell in love with Fujitaka Kinomoto, who was her teacher. Her family disapproved of their marriage when Nadeshiko was sixteen. Nadeshiko continued to send gifts to her father, and maintained contact with her cousin Sonomi Daidōji. At the age of 27, Nadeshiko died, and Sonomi, who loved Nadeshiko greatly, blamed Fujitaka. It is hinted that after her death, the Amamiya family cut off all contact with Fujitaka and the children from the marriage, as Sakura is shown learning that Sonomi, who is the mother of her best friend, is a relative, and meeting her great-grandfather (Nadeshiko's grandfather) for the first time as the series progresses.  Though Nadeshiko has died, her love for Fujitaka and her children, and visa versa continues to live on. She frequently visits the family as a winged spirit, though initially only Toya can see her. In the manga, it is noted that Toya likely inherited this power from Nadeshiko, implying she too could see spirits. Throughout the series, she worries over Sakura as the young girl begins gathering the Clow Cards. When the Illusion card tricks Sakura into walking off a cliff, Nadeshiko's spirit grabs her arm and keeps her from falling until Yukito Tsukishiro arrives to catch her. Later in the series, when Sakura develops a high fever, Nadeshiko appears and puts her hand on Sakura's forehead, lowering the fever. When Fujitaka goes to talk to her grandfather for the first time in a long time, she rains Sakura blossoms over them to show her happiness that they are reconciling.  The family is shown to also still love her, most noticeably through a picture kept in the dining area near the kitchen table. Fujitaka changes the picture each morning and Sakura always greets the picture while coming to breakfast. At the end of the series, after Fujitaka receives half of Eriol's powers, he and Nadeshiko are happily "reunited" as the magic allows him to finally see her.  In the anime adaptation, Nadeshiko's role is generally unchanged, except that Fujitaka is never able to see her as he does not receive any magical powers. She is voiced by Yūko Minaguchi. In the Cardcaptors English dub, her name is changed to Natasha Avalon and she is voiced by Janyse Jaud.

A young girl who befriends Casshern, she manages to maintain her innocence despite growing up in a destroyed world. Despite witnessing Casshern mercilessly destroying a robot in order to save her, she continues to have faith in him. Being cared by Ouji, the two come across Casshern regularly, and witness his endeavors.

~!Near the end of the anime, everyone except herself, Friender, and Casshern died. Ringo was devastated, but still grew up into a young woman, knowing and accepting death, waiting for Casshern's return. It is somehow hinted in her last encounter with Leda that she may have been the baby in Leda's womb. !~

Kouko is Fuko&#039;s older sister. She used to be an art teacher at Tomoya&#039;s school, and she treats everyone kindly. Kouko is one of the familiar faces in the Furukawa Bakery, and Nagisa admires her very much, being her former art teacher. Currently she is engaged with Yusuke Yoshino.

In the movie, Kouko was a drama teacher instead of an art teacher. She, along with Youhei and Tomoya helped supervise and revive the drama club for Nagisa. 

Arale&#039;s beautiful teacher and Senbei&#039;s dream girl. After a long period of unrequited love and nervous misunderstandings, Senbei proposes to her while thinking she is out of earshot. Surprisingly, she accepts immediately (while on the toilet, no less) and they are married in the next manga panel, resulting in a name change.

Videl is the daughter of Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan is very protective of her, especially in respect to boys. She becomes suspicious of Gohan after meeting him at Orange Star High School, and she even follows him for a brief time to learn more about him. Videl eventually discovers Gohan's secret identity as the Great Saiyaman. She forces Gohan to teach her how to fly, and makes him enter the 25th Tenka'ichi Budokai under the threat that she'll reveal his identity to the world. ~!After the Buu saga, the two get together, and have a child named Pan.!~

Pan is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Dragon Ball Z, as well as Dragon Ball GT. She is a Human-Saiyajin quarter breed. In the original Japanese version, she was voiced by Yuko Minaguchi, while she is voiced by Elise Baughman in the FUNimation dub and by Caitlynne Medrek in the Blue Water Studios redubs. It should be noted that Pan&#039;s name comes from the Pan of Roman (as well as others) mythology. That means that, at first glance, she appears to have been named after her mother Videl rather than her father Gohan. However, closer inspection reveals a double-pun on behalf of author Akira Toriyama, in that Pan is also the Japanese and Spanish word for bread, continuing her father&#039;s food-based name as well as her mother&#039;s god-religion-based name.    Pan is introduced in the series following the ten year interval between the defeat of Majin Buu and the end of the written Dragon Ball series. In the series, Pan is daughter of the primary character named Son Gohan, and as a result, the granddaughter of the main character named Son Goku. Pan is the only original character in the series with the most diluted Saiyajin heritage, and as a result, it was stated in the Daizenshuu that she didn&#039;t have the ability to become a Super Saiyajin. However, this is later contradicted by the Dragon Ball GT Perfect file books that stated that she could have ascended if she trained hard enough. It was also stated by Toriyama that the simple reason to Pan&#039;s inability to become a Super Saiyajin was that he could not come up with a logical design for a female Super Saiyajin; being that most of the Super Saiyajin traits are typical of males, and not females.    As Pan only appears for three chapters in the manga, her later life is elaborated on in the anime-only series called Dragon Ball GT, where she is seen as a young girl who travels the galaxy with her grandfather Goku, and Trunks, the half-Saiyajin son of the characters Vegeta and Bulma. In the final episode of Dragon Ball GT, Pan is seen as an old woman, being over 100 years old. She is the grandmother to the character named Son Goku Jr., who has the ability to become a Super Saiyajin. This contridicts the Daizenshuu that stated that characters who possessed less then half-Saiyajin heritage did not have the ability to become Super Saiyajins because of diluted blood-lines.

A cheerful and kind girl, she quickly befriends Shaian. One of the few among her people who are actually proficient at using weapons. She was taught about technology by her father, so she is quickly able to adapt to fighting along with Shaian or wearing her own custom-made combat armor.
