Doctor Kenzo Tenma is a Japanese neurosurgeon working at the Eisler Memorial Hospital in D&uuml;sseldorf. At the beginning of Monster he is favored by the department director for his prodigious surgical skill. After a crisis of conscience, he chooses to save the life of a young boy instead of the city&#039;s mayor, and is unjustly demoted as a result; he then becomes suspect for murder when the department director and several prominent doctors are killed weeks later. It is only after nine years that Dr. Tenma learns the perpetrator of the hospital murders is none other than the boy he saved years before, [Johan Liebert](https://anilist.co/character/719). Plagued by guilt, he resolves to find Johan and end the life of this &quot;monster&quot; he feels responsible for creating. Despite his mission, Dr. Tenma is a humanitarian who genuinely cares about the lives of others. These acts of kindness make him very influential with the people he meets.

Nana first met him through Nobu, who really just admired him from afar. Ren was popular around their hometown for supposedly being found as a baby in an abandoned warehouse, which he lives in to this day. He isn&#039;t ashamed of this; he actually brags about it. Ren and Nana are proven to be very similar throughout the series, but they are not totally similar. Ren seems to be more open with his love for Nana, being able to ask for her back and her hand in marriage while those thoughts just made Nana want to yell at him. Ren also really would like a family and child, while Nana really dislikes the concept because she doesn&#039;t want to be the dependent wife who makes miso soup for her husband all day.

Shortly after begging his manager for more drugs, on his knees, quivering in pain from withdrawal, he dies from a car crash. Reporters were following him and happened to see him suddenly swerve into a building, which happened to be where he&#039;s lived in all of his life. Sasagawa Ryohei is obsessed with boxing and is one of the oldest Vongola Ring Guardians. He is the older brother of Kyoko Sasagawa, a girl that Tsuna has a crush on. Sometime prior to current story time, when Kyoko and Ryohei still were in Primary School, he was lured by some High School students, and then beaten up, receiving the scar on his left temple in the process.    Ryohei&#039;s main motto of life is &quot;Extreme&quot; which he applies to whatever he does. He was once shot with the Dying Will bullet by Reborn and it drew every atom of his power from body because he is always in Dying Will mode.    It is mentioned that Ryohei was born with incredibly strong muscles, thus possessing greater strength than the average human being. But, he isn&#039;t able to use the full extent of his power, unless he has tremendous motivation, like being in a life or death situation, or fighting for Kyoko&#039;s safety.

Unlike the other fratello (sibling), José truly lives up to the name, caring for Henrietta like a protective brother and showing a good deal of interest and concern for her welfare. As such, he attempts to minimize Henrietta's conditioning as much as possible. Years ago, José had a younger sister who adored him and wished to join the Carabinieri when she was older, in order to protect him. She resembled Henrietta somewhat and died in a terrorist attack which possibly caused her to drown. Due to his sister's death, José gained a deep appreciation for life and a hatred towards terrorism.

In public he is Li Shengshun, a foreign exchange student from China. He is very nice and well mannered. He lives in the Umitsuki apartments and is always working a new part-time job.He has a huge appetite, not unlike most anime characters.  Hei's other life is of a Contractor called BK-201 and also the Black Reaper, mostly by other Contractors. Before becoming a contractor Hei was an assassin which earned him his nickname. Hei is usually seen on the job in a mask and a dark bullet proof coat.  Hei has the ability to manipulate electrons and can also disturb matter on a quantum level.

The youngest of the five brothers of the Ran family. He is eighteen years old. It is said that, out of his four older brothers he was the most worthy of the name Ryuuren Ran because he is a genius. He calls his older brothers foolish and doesn&#039;t call them by their name, rather: Shuuei = &quot;foolish elder brother the fourth&quot;. Recently, he&#039;s called Shuurei, Soul Friend #1, and Eigetsu, Soul Friend #2 (He refers to Yougetsu as Soul Friend #2.5).    He does things on his own time and is quite impulsive: when he was going to buy ingredients for chicken stew with Shuurei, he ended up buying soy beans, then he traded that for boiled eggs, then traded the eggs for spring onions, then the spring onions for wood blocks, then flowers, then fish, then straw, and then he gave away the straw to a little girl and just ended up with one stalk of straw. Later in the series, he goes ghost hunting after hearing about a late-night ghost. He also pulls out his flute and plays it without warning, often off key. Since he can&#039;t be easily told what to do and is very unpredictable, he&#039;s necessary in the Ran family. Although, because of this behavior many find him weird and annoying, so they usually distance themselves from him. Shuurei was the only one who put up with him, so he said that she&#039;s now his soul friend. Also according to Kurou he is also a candidate for Shuurei&#039;s political marriage. King Bradley is the Führer of the Amestris state military and has all state alchemist under his direct command. King Bradley almost always maintains a kind and calm demeanor even when issuing orders to engage in battle. This trait often confuses his subordinates, and Roy Mustang admits that he "can't figure the guy out." King Bradley has a son, Selim, and an unnamed wife.  In both iterations of Bradley, he is shown to be highly skilled with a saber. He can move and attack with incredible speed and dismember with ease.

The Tensai (Genius) of Hyotei Gakuenand also know as "Man of 1000 Techniques." He can perform Higuma Otoshi (one of Shusuke Fuji's Triple Counters: Bear Drop) perfectly. He is called "Oshitari of the one thousand skills." He plays doubles with Gakuto Mukahi in the Kantou Tournament against the Eiji Kikumaru-Takeshi Momoshiro pair and singles in National Tournament against Takeshi Momoshiro, winning 6-4. Oshitari is originally from Kansai. Oshitari also plays the violin, as shown in the nationals OVAs. Oshitari has a cousin named Kenya who is a regular for Shitenhouji (Osaka), which plays Fudomine Middle School and Seigaku in the Nationals.

A hulking, Frankensteinian monster is what Franklin (Furankurin) appears to be, complete with scars and sewn-up wounds that ravage his face. It does seem though, that beneath his harsh exterior lies a small, caring spot in his character, as Franklin acts as a caregiver to Shizuku, and shows concern of her well-being. He is also composed and respectful, normally breaking up arguments and fights within the organization. He is one of the members of the Phantom Troupe that originated from Meteor City.  Nen Ability - Double Machine Gun: Franklin is a human machine gun, as his fingers cap off to reveal chambers where he channels his nen that shoot out as bullets. His fingers weren't required to be cut off and used as caps in order to achieve this, but Franklin did so because he felt "it would be more effective." Doing this actually did greatly enhance the force of his Nen Bullets, due to the commitment he showed in doing so. This power has been shown to wipe out a room full of people within seconds.

Nero was considered the newest member of CP9. He was first introduced on the Puffing Tom, where he was helping to escort Nico Robin to Enies Lobby. However, as Nero is still a new recruit, he is only a four-power user, instead of a six-power user. The rokushiki that Nero has mastered are soru, geppou, kami-e, and rankyaku. He is still unable to use tekkai and shigan. However, he compensates for his lack of shigan by carrying guns with him and compensates for his lack of tekkai by being very careful to avoid taking blows. 

Having undergone the customary training of CP9 agents, he is a calm and collected individual, seen with the casual way he spoke with Franky when they fought. Nonetheless, he is not above displaying his emotions, such as anger at being tricked, fear in the face of inevitable pain, or exasperation in the face of Franky's antics.

The father of the Yamada family working as a graphic designer. He cares for Chi very much and frequently is buying toys and snacks, and worrying if she is lonely at home. He also is forced to do things like bring Chi to the vet or trim Chi&#039;s claws. As a result Chi sees him as the bad guy occasionally, but she gets over it relatively quickly.

Izumida is a 33 year old Lieutenant in the Metropolitan Police working under Ryoko.

Hol Horse is a minor antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (first seen in Chapter 141 and Episode 10), as well as one of the main characters of Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak. He is a tall, blonde-haired cowboy-themed mercenary, serving under Dio and his army of other Stand Users. He considers himself "The #2", preferring to work as support with a partner due to his cowardice and caution. He also respects women, no matter how pretty, or how ugly, as seen with his ex, Nena. 

His Stand is Emperor, named after the Tarot Card of the same name. It manifests itself as a retro-futuristic pistol, which functions as a normal firearm, although the bullets are able to change their trajectory to Hol Horse's command.

~!He is seemingly fatally injured by his own Stand's bullets in Chapter 221 (and episode 37 of the anime), but manages to survive and go into hiding, fearing Dio's punishment for failing his mission of killing the Joestar group.!~

He's a novelist but, as his short stories don't allow him to live properly, he often works for the press. He was in the same college as Kyougokudou and hangs around with him. He's often teased by his friends in regards to his poor social skills.  During the war, Sekiguchi fought with Kiba in the same regiment. While the details about this period are unknown, it is implied that Sekiguchi is a deserter who suffers from psychological disorders because of what he saw and did during the war.  He has a wife named Yukie.

Hirokazu Ukita is the most emotional of the Kira investigation team that is lead by L.

Originally only known as &quot;Father&quot; to Teito, he took Teito into a church and raised him. When Teito was a child, he taught him many things, including the majority of the church&#039;s writings. Fia Kreuz was excommunicated from the Church shortly after Teito left, for escaping with Pandora&#039;s Box.    He cared for Teito very much, having raised him and being his primary father figure. He is actually the King&#039;s younger brother, making him Teito&#039;s blood uncle. Although there are many differences between him and Frau, Teito is still reminded of Kreuz a lot when Frau is being serious.    Fia Kreuz is also another of the 07-Ghosts, Vertrag.

Shisui Uchiha was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" and was one of the most talented of the Uchiha clan. Shisui was the best friend of Itachi Uchiha; in fact, Itachi thought of him as an older brother. He was found drowned in a river from what appeared to be suicide, though the Konoha Military Police believed it to be murder. It was later revealed that Shisui had been ordered to keep tabs on Itachi. Itachi later admitted to Sasuke Uchiha that he had murdered Shisui to obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, forging Shisui's handwriting on his suicide note with the help of the Sharingan.
