Negi Springfield is the teacher of Mahora Girls' Jr High School class 3-A (formley 2-A) with formely 31 students,now reduced to 30. Negi Springfield is the son of master mage Nagi Springfield, famously known as the legendary "Thousand Master" and princess Akira of the Ostian Empire in the magic world. At present, Negi has formed 11 temporarily pactio with his students(Asuna, Nodoka, Setuna, Konoka, Yue, Haruna, Chisame, Kazumi, Kaede,Ku Fei,and Chachamaru) and 1 temporarily pactio with Theo, which gives him the artifact that allow him to use any of his partner's artifact.     Negi specialize in Wind spells and Lightning spells(His father's specialty) though he is initially lacking in battle experience. He later trains under Ku Fei in Martial Arts to make up for his weakness in close combat, advancing very quickly(Even learning how to do instant movement, otherwise known as Shundou), and applies a strong magical barrier around himself to avoid damaging his frail body. He eventually becomes a master of using delayed spells as a battle tactic. Due to the training he had with Evangeline and Jack Rakan, his magic and combat capability increases exponentially. Negi also learns and improves upon Evangeline's "Magic Erebea", which absorb offensive spells into his own body. He also came up with a new spell: "Spell Synthesis: Lightning God Lance Titan Slayer" which is a new high class lightning spell. Negi even manage to use Magic Erebea's ultimate ability by using a magic circle that can stop and absorb the enemy's attack whether it is magical or spiritual attack and use it against them, which even Evangeline herself could not master it. In the latest chapter, it is shown that Magic Erebea marks have begin to spread all over Negi's body and that Negi has formed a temporarily pactio with Shiori, one of Fate's subordinates.

She tends to be a total airhead who does not really pay attention to anything (in the anime, she once rowed under a bridge and forgot to duck), but genuinely cares about Alice. She was a trainee undine with Alicia and Akira, and often joined them in joint practice sessions much like Akari, Aika, and Alice do now. Athena has a beautiful singing voice, which she uses to entertain her customers and also to help Alice when she is in some kind of trouble. Athena has a strange laugh, it usually comes out sounding as though she is angry. She came to know Alicia and Akira when they were still trainee undine and practised together back then. She tends to be quiet most of the time but happy to join in having fun. Her appellation as a prima undine is &quot;Seiren&quot; (denoted as &quot;Heavenly Voice&quot;).

Kozue has been Kū&#039;s best friend since they were little and always keeps her in mind. She has her energy drained from her by Tarlotte during one of the latter&#039;s attacks on the school Kozue attends along with Kū. She has a fascination with Jin Ōgami. She remains concerned with Kū&#039;s well-being after the latter disappears and tries to contact her, though Kū is unaware of this and believes her place at Kozue&#039;s side has been taken. Neither of Kozue&#039;s parents are with her. She appears to resemble Makoto from Kannazuki no Miko

A young woman and leader of the Yuyama troupe, Kakunojō's parents, shipping and wholesale merchants, were murdered by Hario Genba as part of the Ansei Purges for being a staunch suppporter for the Emperor, when she was still a young child, and was saved from death in the same incident by the brave actions of her late father's acquaintance, Zagashira, and apprentice, Ebisu. With her home destroyed in the same fire, Kakunojō, along with Zagashira and Ebisu, formed the Yuyama troupe and visit various regions around the country, to seek Hario, those who murdered her parents and exact revenge upon them. Rika is the eldest of the Noyamano sisters. She acts like a typical older sister and takes care of the family. To support her sisters and Ikki, she works as Destler Bartlett, a female pro-wrestler. During the time when Ikki discovers AT, she is out on a national tour with her wrestling promotion. Unknown to Ikki at first, she is the former Thorn Queen of the original Sleeping Forest, which required her to utilizes her hip joints as the base of her moves. The disadvantage of her Sonia Road was that it took quite a toll on her body, making her tire easily. She is one of two members of the original Sleeping Forest that is not a Gravity Child, the other being Ine. Throughout her entire stay in Sleeping Forest and afterwards, she was unaware of the significance of the Sky Regalia and the true intentions of Sora. She was initially Sora&#039;s girlfriend, though they fell apart after Kilik&#039;s betrayal. She also quits using AT, and she initially fears that Ikki will suffer the same fate as Sora if he continues to be a Storm Rider, although she is finally convinced of his talent after a strange battle with him and a team consisting of Sora and his dogs. She and Sora talk often afterward and eventually reconnect.    In her youth Rika was displayed as a lone ranger who achieved the right to use the Thorn Regalia in her early teens by herself, even though she was not a Gravity Child. She battled off opposing enemies aiming for her title as the Thorn Queen and aimed to take down all the teams in the area alone. In addition, she found the means to support her large family by herself, though they were bordering poverty. On one of her fights she met Sora, who she christened as the &#039;120 Yen&#039;, for the iced coffee he bought her. Sora appeared as one of her fans, and later became her companion and friend. On one occasion, she revealed to Sora that she had caught wind of a group who was reputedly composed of the strongest Kings of the era, and wanted to take them down. Only upon arrival of the battlefield did she find out that the team was none other than Sora&#039;s Sleeping Forest, and that he was the leader, the man closest to becoming Sky King at that time. Sora extended his offer to include her on the team, and because she desired to remain at Sora&#039;s side, she complied.    After joining, Rika was romantically involved with Sora, and also a major cause for Kilik&#039;s jealousy. When Kilik declared betrayal upon Sora, she was not present for the battle on any of the sides, presumably uniforned by neither Sora nor Kilik, who had only recently confessed to her the perivous night. She arrived too late to find the battle alreadly over, Kilik the winning party, Sora and his supporters beaten and robbed of their Regalia. Sora, grievously injured by the battle in both legs, lost hope and broke up with Rika, leaving her the Sleeping Forest emblem, which she passed down to her sister Ringo later.    Afraid of such a repeat of the same incidence, present-day Rika attempted to stop Ikki from going down the same road as Sora, who she already recognized bearing many similar traits to Sora since young. This is further encouraged by Ikki&#039;s climbing of Tokyo Tower when he was a child, which resulted in him falling off and getting carried away by the eight-winged crow. Having already seen the signs in Ikki, she often approached Sora to talk about him, in fact Sora has commented before that she has only ever come to look for him to talk about Ikki since the day they parted. Rika tries to stop Ikki from AT-ing by challenging him in a match, but is defeated when Ikki exceeds her expectations. She then recognizes Ikki&#039;s strength, and supports his goal from that day on, though she still takes care to limit Ikki by locking his body with Heavy weights, which Ikki grows accustomed to quickly.    Rika has sworn off ATs, though she still retains her skills from that her prime. She does not play a role in the current power struggle in the AT world, though she is shown to be aware of it. Some evidence are that she guessed Kanon&#039;s motives in aggravating Ringo and Ikki into a fight, and that she advised Ringo to make up her mind about Ikki, who would surely become an enemy to Sleeping Forest in the future. However, there are no signs that she knows about Sora retaking his place as Wind King and making use of Ikki. Whether this is because Sora is keeping this from her or if she does not want to talk about it is unknown.    Just before the battle against Genesis, Sora reveals a captive Rika and is trying to force the current Sleeping Forest to give up their advantage in the forest. Mikan is the only one to choose to save Rika and also reveals that their sister is pregnant which is all the more reason to rescue her.

Yumi's friend and avid photographer, she's part of the Photography Club and helps out sometimes for the school's newspaper. She is Kousaka's girlfriend. Fashionable, violent, confident, occasional smoker, and not at all attracted by the sexual charms of anime characters, Saki is not an otaku in any sense of the word. She follows Kousaka into Genshiken, and is eventually blackmailed by the first Genshiken chairman into joining the club. Surprisingly, Saki actually saves Genshiken from being shut down on two separate occasions, though her motives have more to do with revenge and guilt than becoming more of an otaku.

An elegant miko (shrine maiden), called Raye in the English version and Raya in the French version. Because of her work as a Shintô priestess, Rei can sense and dispel evil even in civilian form. When she transforms into Sailor Mars, she can also manipulate fire. She is very serious and focused, but although easily annoyed by Usagi's flightiness, cares about her very much. Rei is portrayed as boy-crazy in the early anime, but is uninterested in romance in both the manga and live-action series. She attends a private Catholic school, separate from the other girls.

Prinesca is Perserte's younger twin sister. She also works at Tsuge Divine Music Player Office. Everyone in the office usually addresses her as Prine except Phoron. She is actually half human half spirit because when she was a child, she almost died from a terrible illness. Personal Gunmen: Dayakkaiser  Kiyoh Littner (born Kiyoh Bachika) is the oldest of Kittan&rsquo;s younger sisters, and possesses an extremely large bust. In episode six, when fighting her way out of an enemy Gunmen, she is shown to possess good combat ability. She was helping out in Dai-Gurren&#039;s control room until episode 13, when she starts aiding in the frontlines, piloting Dayakka&#039;s Dayakkaiser Gunmen, which she begins to use when Dayakka begins to command aboard Dai-Gurren.  ~!After the timeskip, we discover that Kiyoh and Dayakka have married, and Kiyoh gives birth to a daughter, whom she names Anne. Anne happens to be the newborn that makes the human population reach one million, and as soon as she is born, the Human Extermination System begins.!~  ~!In the manga she, Kittan, and her other sisters appear earlier in the story (during Team Gurren&#039;s time in Littner Village) and explains to Simon that their home village, Bachika, was destroyed by Viral.!~

Ren-Tan is a Miko (Shrine Maiden) who lives in a temple with her grandfather. She is fond of playing the Mokugyo, a Buddhist drum shaped like a fish. She can also communicate with spirits, much to Chiku-tans dismay.    Ren-Tan loves dango (dumplings) and has incredible luck. Her luck allows her to win raffles with ease. Azumamiya is the master of Nonohara Kaede and a member of the kendo club. He is considered the weakest member of the club because his strikes are random and dangerous. He has a vulgar mouth, but it is Kaede&#039;s duty to refine him into a gentleman. When he is in trouble, he calls for Kaede to fight for him.    Both Koutarou and his butler Kaede are references to &quot;Mahou Sensei Negima!&quot;

The sole survivor of an Ittō-ryū massacre at Anotsu's hand and heir to her father's sword school, the "Mutenichi-ryū". She has mediocre swordsmanship skills but an intense desire to avenge the brutal death of her family. To aid in this quest, she hires Manji as a bodyguard. It is worth noting that she kisses a sleeping Manji in the fourteenth volume and has shown on numerous occasions that she develops feelings towards him. They are as of now largely unreciprocated.   At the beginning of the series she is portrayed as somebody who is trying to act mature, but is still very childish - as the series progresses she steadily "grows up" and loses much of her naivety. Rin is constantly torn by doubt over the righteousness and validity of her mission and fears becoming a hypocrite as Anotsu claims that she is more like the Ittō-ryū, especially when he remarks that she chose to use throwing knives instead of a sword like the "Mutenichi-ryū" teaches.   Rin has three weapons, a Chinese sword named Kutoneshirika which she carries in a Toju (purse-like scabbard of sorts), a Tantō type dagger and a set of small throwing daggers named Ogunchu (Golden Wasps). Even though she is only mediocre in terms of fighting ability, Rin is still more skilled with weapons than most women of that time period and the fact that she carries a small arsenal of weapons with her makes her somewhat unique.   ~! When she encounters Anotsu in Kaga, she realizes she cannot defeat him and winds up traveling with him. She thinks if he starts to trust her, she might get the chance to kill him. But Anotsu is no fool and is fully aware of what she is doing, despite this he allows her presence. She has since left his company, vowing that she will eventually kill him; yet she will stand back for the time being and watch how the events unfold.!~

Sophie is the princess of the Windmill Kingdom. She is an airhead who takes many situations too lightly. Her attitude with joke often angers Altessa. (But she meants no harm)

Satori Azuma, a first-year high school student (that is, in the anime), is the fifth and the last person to join the Kendo Club. She is very talented in kendo. In fact, Satori is the second strongest in the club, with Tamaki being the strongest. However, she is very bad with her studies despite her diligence, which is why she decided to quit kendo after middle school--in order to concentrate on her studies. It is revealed her glasses are fake; she thought she would get smarter by wearing them. Due to the fact that she is rather na&iuml;ve, she is tricked by Miyako Miyazaki into joining the club, thinking that Kendo will help her improve her studies. She is Renji&#039;s childhood friend and also a Night Wizard. She recruited Elis to the Astronomy Club at Kimei Academy after asking her if she liked stars or not. Her artifact is a crossbow attached to her arm which, like other artifacts, has a variety of different attacks. She&#039;s a childhood friend of Hiiragi and knows a secret of his which she often holds over his head. Despite teasing Renji often, she is very attached to Renji so she says although it isn&#039;t apparent in the way she treats him. She also assumes the role of a controlling mom in Renji&#039;s life, forcing him to anything on her whim. Kureha does, however, care deeply about Renji.

Haruka is the oldest sister and in her second year of high school. She has been taking care of her younger sisters for many years, and this fact has led to some misunderstandings with her classmates. Haruka is the most reliable of the three sisters, but becomes infinitely lazy when she is by herself. She was called Banchō (gang leader) during her junior-high days, though it is revealed soon after that it was simply a title. She is the only person whom Chiaki dares not oppose or be rude to; Chiaki views her as a role model and greatly respects her. This can be seen in her tendency to address Haruka as "nee-sama" instead of the more usual and casual "nee-san"; and the only person Chiaki uses polite Japanese with (even though it is not customary for siblings to use polite Japanese towards each other). "Haruka" contains the kanji for "spring".

The protagonist of the story, she has come to Japan in order to prove herself worthy of becoming the queen. She is the princess of Magical Land and, as a result, has many enemies who she defeats with her submission maneuvers and magic powers. Punie may seem young and innocent, but when threatened (and she feels threatened very easily) she becomes violent and aggressive. On the outside she is a cute and carefree girl, on the inside she is a ruthless evil witch, who does not even refrain from killing people, unicorns and vegetables. A 28-year-old author. He was raised in England until he was 10, and later moved to Japan. He graduated law school first of his class and is the youngest recipient of the Naomori Award. He was a pure-hearted romanticist, as Takahashi Misaki, his love interest says. He is extremely popular with his books, but also writes erotic (BL) Yaoi fiction under the pen name Akikawa Yayoi because it allows him to earn money on his fantasies. He is working for the Marukawa Publishing Co., and to his editors, he is known as a writer/author who doesn't meet deadlines. He comes from a rich and wealthy family and has a step-brother called Haruhiko. He first met Hiroki Kamijou in Japan in his secret base. He was a loner back then and always wanted to be alone. He also doesn't talk much because of his family circumstances.  

Akihiko always wanted to have a normal life. He collects toys because it makes him feel like this is what "normal childhood" feels like. He named all his teddy bears Suzuki because to him it is the most common name in Japan. (It isn't.)  His nickname is "Usagi", which means "rabbit" in Japanese. Usagi has been Misaki's brother's best friend for over ten years, and was secretly in love with Misaki’s brother but never said anything about it. Due to Misaki's grade, Takahiro asks Usagi to become Misaki's tutor and assist him in raising his grades for the college entrance exams. Due to some twist of fate, Takahiro’s company transfers him away and, worried about the becoming of his little brother, Takahiro asks Usagi for Misaki to stay and live with him until he comes back or until Misaki can come live with him in Osaka.

One of the things which is readily noticeable about her is that she is very well endowed. Currently the instructor of the Ikaruga Dojo teaching Ukiha Kamikaze. Ibuki also attends Yoku-Ryou Gakuen Private High School with the main characters, and just happens to be in the same class as Yoichi. She has feelings for Yoichi.

She is the granddaughter of the founder of Chiko's school. She uses this to her advantage amongst her peers, so her initial reaction to Chiko's cleverness is hostility. She changes her tune, however, after finding out how much "fun" it is to be around Chiko and her Nijū-Mensō-related adventures. Her goal is to have as much fun as possible until she turns 16 and is of age for her arranged marriage. She often doesn't seem to care about how much trouble she causes, so long as she has fun. The 'youngest daughter' of the Midarezaki family. She is a jellyfish; however, she is able to do things that are unusual for a normal jellyfish such as writing letters or changing her body's color according to her feelings. The sub-director of Supernatural Phenomenon Treatment Bureau's operation department went fishing, caught her and DNA-tested her for fun, and it turned out that a mere jellyfish actually has Enka's DNA, so she became a member of 'Peacefule Family Operation'. Her real name and exact age is unknown. Occasionally a dark-haired female with crescent-shaped insignia, dressed in a manner of Heian period, appears in the book, and it is believed by some family members that she is Gekka.
