He worked at a gas station in the near future until a life-threatening disease required him to be put into cryogenic stasis so that his state would not worsen. He awakens in the future to find that the Blue have destroyed everything he knew. He then begins his journey to Second Earth, learning to defend himself and others on the way. His mental state changes a lot during the series, as he sees more of the ruined earth and meets all the people left behind.

Casshan began his life as Tetsuya Azuma, the son of Kotaro and Midori Azuma. The former of his two parents was a scientist who turned Tetsuya into Casshan after Kotaro successfully revived Tetsuya's dog Lucky into a robot dog named Friender when Tetsuya volunteered to be turned into a neo human, despite the objection of his mother and father. Tetsuya volunteered to become Casshan due to another one of Kotaro's creations, Black King activated on his own and set out to conquer the world. In the 1993/1995 OVA remake, Kotaro and Midori are killed by Black King.

Sid is one of the warriors of the holy city, he along with Galk fights Clare on the roof top while on patrol. He appears brash, arrogant and short tempered early on in the story. He later helps Clare in her fight against the powerful Yoma she was assigned to slay, resulting with breaking his leg. He later sees her and Raki off when they leave the city and gives her a good bye kiss (to which Raki kicks him in the crotch in the manga, and the two start a fist fight).    He appears after the 7 year time skip and helps Miata and Clarice evade some guards. He does not seem to have the same arrogance or other rude qualities as he did during his first appearance. Later when the Former Number 2 awakened being Agatha attacks, he is used as the central point in the defenders efforts to take her down. While the guards distract her, he attacks her from behind; he is caught one step away from attacking her however. She commends him on his skill and offers to &quot;have some fun&quot; with him on account of his handsomeness, when he refuses she proceed in trying to kill him but he is saved by Galatea. He reveals that Raki had come to Rabona one year prior to Clare&#039;s arrival looking for her still, commenting on Raki&#039;s growth. Full name Arystar Krory III, he is a man with split personalities: His soft, kind, and overly-emotional side, and his "battle-mode" side. You can easily tell when he switches between either personality by his expressions. He is very kind looking at one point with his different colored hair down, but when fighting his eyes become evil-looking, veins protrude from his face, making him look like a monster, and his different colored hair sticks up completely. He spent his entire life prior to becoming an Exorcist in a castle and was shunned by the surrounding villagers, who believed he was a vampire because he attacked certain villagers, the way he had attacked them and the fact that he has the stereotypical vampire theme. This is because his teeth were made of Innocence and he was instinctively attacking Akuma, but the villagers did not know that (and, before meeting Allen and Lavi, neither did he). Later, he fell in love with Eliade, not knowing that she was an Akuma. Allen and Lavi (who enjoys teasing Krory in a fight by calling him "Kro-chan", or "Krokins") later come and recruit him to be an exorcist. He is still getting used to the "outside world."  Arystar's Innocence, still unnamed, resides in his teeth, but the strength is in his blood. It grants him a Feral-type ability. When invoked, it gives him great strength, and the ability to drink the blood of akuma, which can allow himself to regenerate and gives him a temporary increase in strength. He is also capable of draining the akuma poison from another person before it can take full effect. However, he is not immune to Akuma poison. Krory's Innocence and body simply break it down (when his body is too weak however, his body cannot fully break down the poison). Krory is also able to remove it from another person by drinking their blood. He can also inoculate his blood on the Akuma, poisoning them and killing them in very few seconds, but this, apparently, weakens him greatly. Taking the commentary of Miranda about the crimson snow that Arystar produced, he named this ability as "Crimson". Arystar is also capable of wrapping blood around his hands to fortify the flesh beneath; this is because his Innocence allows him to manipulate the blood in his body and, to an extent, others' bodies. He can even detach the blood from his body to make it nigh invulnerable and wield his max strength remotely as a winged blood mannequin called "Bloody Krory"; It appears that after the usage of this technique he becomes exhausted, much like the blood inoculation.

Growing up in the world of humans, Akira met Mina as a child and became strongly attached to her, making her a promise to always protect her. A major antagonist form the first half of the story, Tamaki is Assistant Warden and de facto tyrant of Deadman Wonderland. Under his calm, almost idiotic attitude, he is something of a sadist, caring nothing about the fact that he butchers dozens of prisoners every day for the sole purpose of gathering money or experimenting on them, or simply for his amusement. As son of the dying Chief Warden of Deadman Wonderland, he eagerly hopes for the death of his father to become truly the supreme ruler of the prison, and he devotes much of his time and resources in studying and experimenting on the powers of the Branch of Sin and their origin. He also is in contact with the upper echelons of the Japanese government, his ultimate goal being the synthesis of artificial Deadmen. As a child, Shiratori studied diligently to one day become a lawyer, and had even memorized some laws by heart. One day, he witnessed a young girl confronting two juveniles trying to steal mangas from a bookstore. When the two offenders had pushed the girl to the floor for her protests, and seemed about to hurt her, Shiratori had stepped forward to recite the provisions made in the Japanese Law to punish stealing. This somewhat unnerved the juveniles and attracted the attention of the store owner and the other customers, causing the offenders to hastily get away. To thank him for helping her out, the girl bought him a drink and made a sakura petal pattern from the straw wrapper, saying that the sakura was the symbol of courage for the Japanese police _(due to the distinct form of the Japanese police badge),_ and Shiratori had acted with courage just like them. It was because of this incident that Shiratori decided to become a cop rather than a lawyer, and also started to consider the girl to be his childhood love.

Once the realization sets in, Shiratori's Sato complex dissolves and he develops an affection for Sumiko that soon blossoms into mutual love. Shiratori more than once tried to use his riches to get an edge over Takagi over Sato in the past, but now that he's with Kobayashi he does it solely to make her happy. The man who hosts every Tenka-ichi Budokai from the beginning of Dragon Ball to the end of Dragon Ball Z. He mainly just commentates on the matches, but over the years he has become an acquaintance with the Z Warriors, and knows that they are responsible for saving the Earth. He even says so in one episode that they killed Cell, although it was Son Gohan in actuality that destroyed the villain. He doubts Mr. Satan's abilities, such as in the episode Vegeta goes out of control. In every tournament, aside from the 21st, something bad happens that enhances his role such as in the King Piccolo Saga, he witnessed Kuririn murdered by the Demon King Piccolo's warrior Tambourine and later he becomes very important as he witnesses Son Goku's fight with Piccolo from the sidelines with the others, making him one of the few "civilians" to know the truth.   At the end of Dragon Ball Z, his age starts to show as he is losing hair and has very noticeable wrinkles, but in Dragon Ball GT his descendant's hair remains white. Although he doubts Mr. Satan for being the one who defeated Cell, he praises him in order to make fans cheer.

Loke (ロキ Roki) is a member of the Fairy Tail guild. He is very flirtatious with attractive women, being top ranked "Mage you want to have as your boyfriend". He attempts to flirt with Lucy but after finding out that she's a Stellar Spirit mage, he quickly stops his advances. Mirajane said that something must have happened to him with a similar female Stellar Spirit mage. She also mentioned that Loke once tried to flirt with Erza, but nearly got himself killed because of it. His weapon is a magical ring and is skilled in "hand-to-hand" combat.  He seems to have an interest in Lucy, despite his fear and is the one who searched for Lucy's lost keys and subsequently saves Lucy from bandits.   ~!After his sudden departure from Fairy Tail, Lucy discovers that Loki is a Stellar Spirit, Leo the Lion. His master was the famous Karen Lilica, who was a member of Blue Pegasus. Since her death three years ago, he has remained in the human world, unable to return to the Spirit World because he was exiled for killing his own summoner. He reveals that prolonged stay by a Stellar Spirit in the human world leads to imminent death.  Although he says he killed Karen he did not kill her himself. Karen was abusive, vain, and arrogant towards her other Zodiac Stellar Spirit, the timid and kind Aries. One day she was about to punish Aries by forcing her to remain in the Real World for seven straight days, something that would probably kill her. Sick of Karen's apparently frequent tantrums, Loke summoned himself in Aries' place and refused to go back to the Spirit World until Karen broke both their pacts and left her house. However Karen died on a mission before she could release them. This was due to the fact that she couldn't summon any other spirits while he was already summoned and thus he blamed himself for her death.  However, although Loke had given up hope and was more than willing to die, Lucy managed to convince the Stellar Spirit King to revoke his exile. Loke is now one of Lucy's Stellar Spirits. He promised to be Lucy's backbone, and returned to the spirit world to recover. With him, Lucy now has half the Gold keys.  After recovering, Loke is seen flirting with Lucy and being nice and friendly to everybody. He declared that he has abandoned his old ways, flirting with only Lucy now. He has also self-proclaimed himself to be Lucy's knight in shiny armor.  Before Lucy got annoyed and sent him back to spirit world, he give Lucy's team tickets to a fancy hotel he had planned to take his girlfriends to. Dias is the leader of the Alabaster faction of Lost Millennium. While Dias seems friendly at first, his is actually extremely manipulative and cold hearted, such as tricking a group of Fractale refugees into removing their terminals and forcing them to join his faction, and gunning down one refugee when he attempts to flee. Dias joins Sunda to rescue Phryne and Clain from the Temple, but exploits the opportunity to destroy the facility instead.     ~!During the final confrontation between Lost Millennium and the Temple, Dias&#039;s troops sacrifice themselves to destroy the Temple.
