Ryoma Echizen is the protagonist of the Prince of Tennis series. He is the son of [Echizen Nanjirou](https://anilist.co/character/11823/Nanjiro-Echizen) and Takeuchi-Echizen Rinko. Ryoma is a first year student at Seishun Academy ('Seigaku' for short), which he attends immediately after his arrival in Japan after formerly residing in the United States. Although only a first year in middle school, Ryoma had already earned notoriety through winning four consecutive titles in the American Junior Tennis tournaments – all in a little over a year. Due to his nearly invincible tennis play, Ryoma has earned the label 'prodigy' by the age of twelve. His looks and confidence make him highly popular with ladies, although he seems not to notice, having his focus exclusively on tennis.  He is an all-court tennis player with many special shots and abilities. One of Ryoma's greatest talents is his ability to learn new techniques after only seeing them performed a few times. He also has an amazing amount of stamina and does not sweat as much as other players. Along with fellow Seigaku regular [Eiji Kikumaru](https://anilist.co/character/328/Eiji-Kikumaru), Ryoma is known to have an exceptional talent for seeing moving objects. He does not go easy on himself and pushes himself more, rather than letting himself rest. He is specifically a singles player, though he did try doubles once with teammate [Momoshiro Takeshi](https://anilist.co/character/331/Takeshi-Momoshiro). 


A man who took possession of the Number 2 Headband. He hid it from the rest of the world to stop the continuing spread of violence and death, and when Afro confronted him, he fought to the death for the headband. In the end, he is killed in the fight.

An Ittō-ryū swordsman living as a mask-maker. Determined to conceal his past from his son, Renzo, he is also the man who led the rape of Rin's mother. He first appears in On Silent Wings part 1, and is later killed by Manji in On Silent Wings part 6. Renzo then attacks Manji in rage, Manji feigning death. Renzo then makes an assumption his father had a sordid past with Rin at his father's burial, when Rin says, hypothetically, that there are some reasons past incidents shouldn't be brought up, as the blissful ignorance is better than the lifetime of shame. He appears in On Silent Wings (I-VI). 

An unseated officer of the 6th Division.    Rikichi has a tattoo above his left eye, in admiration for Renji Abarai. His hair is parted on the left and fans out at the tips. Also, on the left side of his hair, three strands are beaded. Besides the standard Shinigami uniform, he wears a thin rope sash connecting the supply kit on his back.     The only reason Rikichi joined the 6th Division was because Renji was his hero. His admiration reached so far that he broke Hanataro Yamada out of jail to save him. 

Snake-like Hollow form of Orihime Inoue's brother, Sora. He regains his reason and personality after having his mask partially shattered in combat and purifies himself with Ichigo's Zanpakutō. He has a humanoid upper body with snake-like lower body. He gets his name from his ability to spit acid. 

Orihime&#039;s older brother. Sora was 15 when Orihime was born. Because his parents were so abusive, Sora left home as soon as he turned 18, taking Orihime with him. Having more of a parent/child relationship than a brother/sister one, Sora raises Orihime much like a daughter. When Orihime was in middle school, Sora bought her some hair pins as a present, but she rejected them as she thought they were too childish. Feeling down, Sora went out for a walk, was hit by a car, and died at the Kurosaki clinic.  ~!His unresolved feelings of not wanting to leave Orihime alone kept him from passing on, and he watched over her as a ghost for over a year until he was devoured by hollows. With his feelings twisted as a hollow, Sora attacked Ichigo and Tatsuki, the two people he believed were making Orihime forget him. Ukitake is the captain of the 13 Division in the Gotei 13. Ukitake Juushirou is respected by many, especially by his subordinates, for his honesty, loyalty, and personal sense of justice. He is afflicted with an unknown illness.

He has been close friends with 8th Division Squad Captain [Kyouraku Shunsui](https://anilist.co/character/1088/Jirou-Souzousa-Shunsui-Kyouraku) since his youth, about 2000 years or more ago. The two frequently work together.  It is implied that, since he has achieved the rank of captain, Ukitake must be a powerful fighter. He is considered to be one of the strongest captains besides Yamamoto, Kyouraku, Unohana, and Aizen. However, he is limited by his illness to fighting only for short periods of time; excessive action triggers fits of bloody coughing (another classic symptom of tuberculosis).

Archer is sarcastic and cynical but under his hardened exterior lies a complex and dark personality that unfolds throughout the story. Though skilled with ranged weapons, he can hold his own in melee combat. Archer considers Shirou Emiya's idealism to be weak and delusional, recognizing the mentality of "wanting to save everyone" as naive and impossible.

Archer is actually a future version of Emiya Shirou, who became a hero through Emiya's wish to save innocent lives. After his death he became a Counter Guardian, a Spirit deployed to maintain balance and prevent humanity's extinction, but without the ability to act on his own he was forced to kill and face the fact that his ideals were not realizable time and time again. 

To escape this cycle the only hope for EMIYA was to be summoned as a Heroic Spirit and kill his past self before he became a Counter Guardian, which would cause a time paradox and release him from the cycle.!~

First appearing in Final Fantasy VII. Red XII is a young warrior and last of his tribe. He first meets Cloud in the Shinra HQ as a test subject of the scientist Hojo. Red goes with  Cloud and the others throughout the entire game developing tight bonds and learning about his own shrouded history.  Red again appears in Final Fantasy Advent Children in a cameo appearance in the fight against Bahamut-SIN with Cait Sith riding on his back.  Although much older then the rest of the cast at 50 years of age. Red's race lives for several years making him the equivalent of 18 in human years. Red is deep and thoughtful, with a sweet innocent demeanor. Red is always looking out for others and has a strong sense of loyalty both to his friends and his home town of Cosmo Canyon.

Introduced to Parisian society by the Count, ​Marquis Andrea Cavalcanti quickly earns the respect and admiration of the bourgeois, through the showy exhibition of his fortune and dandified airs. Gino is one from hundreds of Asian refugees, who took Japan up on the offer to enter their country, and have taken low-paying jobs handed out to them by various companies looking for a cheap work force, now, a combat pilot and World War IV veteran. Through Gino's eyes we experience his daily life as a refugee working as a helicopter pilot for a corporate CEO. He is angry and depressed and plots his revenge.

Kazuharu is a sleazy pervert, openly sexually harassing any chance he gets. He has a strong attraction for the girls that hang around Yukinari, and will do anything to take them away from him, for some little sex games that is. That aside, he has a tendency to appear (often out of nowhere) and attempt to manipulate the situation to his own advantage. Aside from all that he has a close relationship with Tomoka, as he is often called her big brother.  He is also incredibly rich, living in a ridiculous mansion with his sister and all-female employees.   ~!Another strange thing about him is that he breaks out in rashes when he gets close to men, making him the antithesis to Yukinari.!~

Master Tei is a professional monster breaker, who captures creatures and tames them. He also is the son of the Night Magic King and fiance to Rayuka. He comes into the show when Gokudo and Company get their bodies and souls switched around. Gokudo inhabits Rubette's body and Master Tei develops a crush on him. Of course this follows with hilarious results.

Ray is a withdrawn and ruthless Armor pilot whose wife, Shimo, was killed by the Man with the claw hand. He first appears in episode 4 at the last minute, making his main appearance in episode 5 but is opposed at first to Van. Like Van, he travels to find the Man with the claw hand and exact his revenge by killing him. Unlike Van he has far fewer qualms over who dies by interfering with him, something Van despises and is easily provoked by. However, according to Joshua, he apparently was completely different in behavior prior to his wife's death. Later in the series he reveals that he seeks to kill the Claw and then die too in order to meet Yoshimo again. Like Van, he also abstains from alcohol, drinking water instead.  His rivalry with Van stems from the fact that both of them want to kill the Claw. Later in the series, they work together, although they show little concern for each other, even when engaged in combat with enemies.  Ray's primary weapon is a katana-shaped gun with a large magazine where the blade would be. He holds it just ahead of the hilt and spins it to fire streams of bullets. He has several hidden weapons, such as the heels of his shoes. One acts as a very small hand held gun, while the other provides a way of summoning and remote controlling his armor, Volkein. While Ray is piloting, Volkein is armed with a variety of power with its most powerful weapon being the beam howitzer, a weapon strong enough to obliterate one of the original seven armors in one hit.    ~!Near the end of the series his eyes are injured and his vision is blurred. His vision remains blurred until he is killed on episode 24 while he tries to kill the Claw, his gunshots becoming more erratic with his deteriorating vision. However, he dies with satisfaction after his final shot temporarily derails the Claw's plans and he is reunited with his wife in the afterlife.!~
