Therefore he uses a phantom (puppet with his figure) to raid and kill innocent towns, people, and weaker Vandels. His phantom was beaten by Beet in an epic battle. This battle helped Beet grow in fame in the Vandel world and moreover become Beltorze&#039;s awaited enemy. Until that day, he grows in power in the mountains as time passes. Shagi calls him the veteran who never moves. It seems as if he cannot move, but it is possible he just does not. He considers the Vandel scholar Noa his best friend as one who has the traits he lacks. Beltorze lives for challenges and loves to fight. Tetsurou Yoshinogawa was a chef who had a cooking show on television in the anime. Taiki was invited to be a special guest on the show, and he brought Makoto along to demonstrate how to bake a strawberry shortcake. Usagi invited herself along, however, and jumped into the show to &quot;help&quot; them cook, with disastrous results. Fortunately, Tetsurou was prepared with a pre-made cake and the rest of the show proceeded smoothly.    After it was over, however, Tetsurou was confronted by Sailor Iron Mouse in the hallway outside the studio, and she removed his Star Seed. Gerd Frentzen began the series as the undefeated racing champion. However, as a result of an attack by an Amalgram, Gerd is paralysed and confined to a wheelchair. After being given drugs by a mysterious doctor, Gerd regains the ability to walk. He also gains the ability to transform into a Amalgram himself.   He is viewed as a hero, after helping XAT in a fight against an Amalgram. However, this all changes when he attacks his ex-girlfriend, Jill Hoffman. Jill claims that Gerd had no reason to attack her, and that he had merely lost control of himself. In truth, she had been having an affair with his boss, and was using Gerd.   Only two people did not believe Jill's claims, and continued to support Gerd after this event - Hermann and Malek. Unfortunately, continually being pursued by XAT caused Gerd to lose his sanity. He is killed by Joseph, in front of Hermann and Malek.   Gerd was the first major character to be introduced in BLASSREITER. Whilst he does die eventually, he was the primary character for the first part of the series. It should also be noted that Gerd's story has not yet been resolved (his innocence has not been proved, with the public still believing that all Amalgram are evil).   Something else to note is that a newly introduced character bears a strong resemblance to Gerd.

Akiyuki&#039;s father and Fusa&#039;s estranged husband. He&#039;s a local doctor for his community and treats the elderly of the area. He&#039;s a slob and his family often comes to his office to take care of him, doing his cooking and laundry. He cares more about his work than his wife and son, and was pretty much the last to know about the disappearance of his son after the island was attacked, and acts rather despondent vis-&agrave;-vis his impotence in keeping his family together. It seems that he has a troubled past as a military researcher who worked on humanform weaponization projects and now deeply regrets his involvement that has taken his son from him. He also still has Hiruko seeds with him that he hadn&#039;t part with, even at the end of his involvement with the military. It is yet unknown how much of the research he was involved in. Sasha Dejanstahl Voban is a Campione. He is very cold man who cares nothing for others, only desiring to battle worthy opponents (such as Heretic Gods) and gaining more Authorities. He is willing to kill anyone who gets in his way. Little is known about Voban's past, except that he killed a Heretic God as a young man, becoming a Campione, and is over three centuries old. Voban is not even his real name but a name he picked up for whatever reason soon after he became Campione three centuries ago.  

Half-man, half-giant; Jack is large and incredibly strong and wields a large jack knife. Jack scours the underworld and lends his strength to good causes, protecting the weak and bringing justice to the post-apocalyptic world.

Hideo Harada is the head of the Shiranami Society for karuta that Chihaya and Taichi are part of. He used to teach Arata as well, while Arata was in primary school with Chihaya and Taichi. He taught Chihaya throughout Junior High School and is currently mentor to both Chihaya and Taichi. He is also a medical doctor and married.

Harada Hideo is portrayed as a kind man with a deep and insightful knowledge of the game of karuta. He states that he teaches his students offensive karuta, which aims to take cards from the opponent's side. He is extremely competitive, whether on behalf of his students or as a competitor himself, or even as a figurehead, representing his karuta society, and is his students' staunchest supporter. 


General of the E.U. Army. He appears to be a sort of mentor to Leila Malcal, offering advice and praising her on her accomplishments, as well as being generally supportive of her ideas.

Jet, known on his home satellite as the "Black Dog" for his tenacity, is a 36-year-old former cop from Ganymede (a Jovian satellite) and acts as Spike's foil during the series. Physically, Jet is very tall with a muscular build. He wears a beard with no mustache, and is completely bald save for the back of his head. Spike acts lazy and uninterested, whereas Jet is hard working and a jack-of-all-trades. Jet was once an investigator in the Inter Solar System Police (ISSP) for many years until he lost his arm in an investigation that went awry when his corrupt partner (and friend at the time) betrayed him. His arm was replaced with a cybernetic limb (later revealed to be by choice, as biological replacements were possible, he wanted the fake arm as a reminder of what happened), yet his loss of limb coupled with the general corruption of the police force prompted Jet to quit the ISSP in disgust and become a freelance bounty hunter. Jet also considers himself something of a renaissance man: he cultivates bonsai trees, cooks, enjoys jazz/blues music (he named his ship the Bebop, referring to a type of jazz), especially Charlie Parker, and even has interest in Goethe. As a character, Jet is the quintessential oyaji or "dad" even though he often wishes people would view him as a more brotherly figure (so as not to seem old).  Jet is skilled with handguns, typically carrying a pre-2004 Walther P99, as well as the use of the netgun. He is good with hand to hand combat as well. Unlike Spike, Jet tends to use more raw muscle than technique. He is also a great mechanic and pilot. Aside from the converted interplanetary fishing trawler vessel Bebop, Jet flies a smaller ship called Hammerhead. The Hammerhead appears to be a modified (Jet added larger engines and fuel tanks) salvage-craft that uses a mechanical arm equipped with a harpoon as its main weapon, which is somewhat analogous to his own mechanical arm. Both the Hammerhead and the Bebop are able to land on water, and have a fishing theme, most likely because Ganymede's surface is mostly covered with water (it is later revealed that the Bebop was originally a fishing ship that Jet "customized" with larger engines).  ~!During the series, it is revealed that Jet once lived with a woman named Alisa, who left him because he was too controlling. Later they meet up again when Alisa's new boyfriend Rhint is wanted for murder. Jet then ends up in a situation somewhat similar to that of Vicious, where he must hunt down a woman who broke his heart, and her lover.  In a later episode, another Vicious/Spike parallel is set up when Jet finds out that it was his old partner Fad who betrayed him (though in Jet's case, there was no love affair involved). Fad arranged for Jet's death in a setup, but he survived with only a missing arm and a scar on his face. It is worth noting that Jet managed to face the demons of his past and let them go, in contrast to Spike, who was killed when he confronted his. This is likely due to the contrast in the two approaches to the past. While Spike hid and fled from his past, Jet tracked it down and confronted it.!~

Nakamori is an inspector for the Tokyo district. His division is nominally devoted to fraud cases, but he spends most of his time and energy capturing the gentleman thief Kaitou Kid.

Nakamori has been dealing with Kaitou Kid ever since he first joined the police force, not knowing that he has been dealing with the original Kaitou Kid, [Toichi Kuroba,](https://anilist.co/character/30378/Toichi-Kuroba) and the new Kaitou Kid, Toichi's son [Kaito,](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) who is best friend and the romantic interest of his daughter [Aoko.](https://anilist.co/character/13972/Aoko-Nakamori) Nakamori used to be a homicide police inspector, but gave that up to focus his time more on Kid. 

Nakamori has a fiery and boisterous personality, always yelling to direct his officers and losing his cool when one of his plans goes awry. Nakamori is extremely self confident. He is usually very self-assured his plans will work and cackles madly to himself at the thought of Kaitou Kid being caught in them. His many failures don't stop him from proudly declaring on live news broadcasts he will surely nab the Kid next time. Nakamori's experience in chasing Kid is balanced by his impulsivity which is his downfall. After a surprise, Nakamori is typically drawn into chasing a Kaitou Kid dummy or shutting off the defensive measures instead of wisely making sure that Kaitou Kid isn't still on the scene or only pretending to have bypassed security (which is often really the case). 

Though a dedicated and capable police officer, Nakamori is always outsmarted by Kid, and even when he captures Kid, Kid somehow finds a way to escape. Nakamori doesn't like asking for help, but heavily appreciates the work of [Conan Edogawa,](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) who often lends him a hand in trying to outsmart and capture Kid. All of the Kid's cases that involved Conan, end with the Kid giving back the treasure that he robs. 

Despite his intense dislike for Kid, Nakamori respects his rival's personality and sense of honor, willingly acknowledging that murder or similar capital crimes are completely out of the question for Kid. He becomes depressed and worried when Kid doesn't send out notices in a while because it means he has nothing to do; the return of Kaitou Kid pleased him greatly.

His name in the original Japanese version media is Mister Satan. It was changed to Hercule in FUNimation's English dub and Viz Media English version of the manga. In the U.S. edition of Shonen Jump it is explained that Hercule is the real name of the character while Mr. Satan was his stage name though no such explanation was present in the original. He is voiced by Daisuke Gouri in the original Japanese version, Chris Rager in the FUNimation version and by Don Brown in the English version from the UK and Canada.   ~!Even though he has never directly saved the world he is highly responsible for defeating Kid Buu as he convinced everyone on earth to give power to Goku's Genki Dama, along with his direct role in defeating Majin Buu. A common point of humor after his first appearance in the Cell Saga is his extremely inflated ego, arrogance and craving for the spotlight which the Z Fighters find annoying at best. Interestingly enough, he never lost any World Tournament that he attended in the series, nor has he died, making him one of the few characters not to have done so along with Pan, his granddaughter. He has a daughter named Videl who dates/marries Son Gohan. A reference to this is made in the video games Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. If the player matches Adult Son Gohan and Mr. Satan the opening dialogue starts with Mr. Satan saying "If you want to go out with my daughter, you'll have to go through me!" A very interesting character in the sense that he knew the name of Thurston not by the last name of his father, but by his grandfather Axel. They met him while they were repairing the ship in the cave, and as a result, made friends with the crew. He lives in the cave, and was none too kind to have people breaking in.

He's rather big for an 8 year old. His occupation was to look over his family's child. As an old model robot his response and speech functions are outdated, causing him to constantly question others comments. He seems to have lost his memory of his family,  ~! so that his family wouldn't have to pay a fee, they illegally abandoned him when they got a newer model. In order to save their personal information they wiped his memory banks. The only memory of them he has is a picture of him that the child he looked after drew, in which he is given his name.!~  

He is the father of the protagonists, Edward and Alphonse Elric. He is a brilliant and well-known alchemist. He left Ed, Al, and their mother Trisha when Al was a baby and Ed was very young. Years later, Ed still holds a grudge against him for abandoning his mother, which he believes contributed to her death. He can transmute without circles, because when he died, he saw past the gate, as did Dante. !~  He (in the manga and 2009 series) is...  ~! a human Philosopher's Stone. Homunculus (Father) was a test subject at a lab in which Hohenheim worked (in fact, Father was the one who named Hohenheim). The king of Xerxes demanded the secret of immortality from the homunculus, and he obliged. a country wide transmutation is formed, and everything is working as planned. However, at the last minute, Father lies about where the center of the circle is, and engulfs both himself and Hohenheim into the gate. Hohenheim wakes to see everybody in his country dead. He meets Homunculus, who tells him everything, how he has now gained half of the powers of the stone. Homunculus did this out of gratitude. after these events, Hohenheim travels to Xing, and founds the art of Alkahestry.!~

Hajiki’s boss and sort of his stand-in father figure. Manager of Hachisuka Express, his motto is "we’ll deliver anything", and by we, he means Hajiki, on a moped, at all hours, to wherever, as long as he gets paid. Hachisuka isn’t a bad guy, but he has a weird sense of morals. Most time, his policy is don’t ask, don’t tell. Slimeball money is as green as anybody else’s and can be spent accordingly. He does nag Hajiki about going to school every now and again though, but he doesn’t push it. He argues constantly with Catherine and can’t seem to stand her, less when she’s being nice to him. He smokes too much, lectures every once in a while, and will usually be there to bring Hajiki back down to earth and out of the I’m-a-hero clouds.  from wikipedia
