Kaneda's best friend since preschool and the second principal subject of the story's theme. Tetsuo is shown as a black sheep in the gang he and Kaneda are part of, and quietly suffers from a deeply rooted inferiority complex. He admires his friend yet at the same time strongly resents his own reliance upon him. After his psychokinetic abilities manifest, Tetsuo quickly becomes Kaneda's nemesis; he desires Kaneda's motorcycle (a symbol of status and power), and seeks to prove himself supremely powerful, without need of protection. Elc is the protagonist of Arc the Lad II. He is a member of a tribe which has the power to manipulate flames, but his village was destroyed and his family was killed in an attack by the Romalian army, which were searching for the statue of the Spirit of Flame under orders of Andel. After that assault, Elc was taken by them to the “White House,” a laboratory that creates “Chimeras” (human-monster hybrids); after managing to escape from there, he is found by Shu, who takes him in and helps him to become a bounty Hunter. Elc has a sarcastic personality and also has a deep resentment towards Arc as he saw the Silver Noah in the assault of his village, and thus believes Arc was the one who led that operation.  from Wikipedia

Takashi Yamazaki is a student in Sakura Kinomoto's class, and the only male student in the class to be referred to by name before the introduction of Syaoran Li. The character is named after film director, Takashi Yamazaki, who is a friend of the series creators, CLAMP. Throughout the series, Yamazaki's defining trait is his ability to fabricate highly detailed fake stories and histories about practically any subject. While most of his classmates see through these fabrications, Sakura and Syaoran often believe them. 

Fellow classmate [Chiharu Mihara](https://anilist.co/character/7134/Chiharu-Mihara) often interrupts his stories so others know when he is lying, and proceeds to punish him for lying by pretending to strangle him or by dragging him away by his collar. While the two often seem to be arguing, they are actually a couple and have known one another since kindergarten. She is the only girl in the series that he addresses by her first name.

In the Cardcaptors English adaptation, all hints of his relationship with Chiharu are removed. Instead, they are said to be cousins and the Chiharu's joking strangling of Yamazaki is considered to be sibling rivalry.
 

Taichi Yagami is the protagonist in the anime and manga Digimon Adventure and Digimon Adventure tri.. He is a major supporting character in Digimon Adventure 02. He is a DigiDestined, partnered with Agumon, and the bearer of the Crest of Courage. He is the older brother of Hikari Yagami.

Taichi is energetic and adventurous. He is also acts impulsively and rushes without thinking the consequences, especially when his friends are in danger but is quick to realize and admit he has been wrong, and does whatever it takes to fix his mistakes. Despite his flaws, Taichi is very caring and considerate of others, even if his actions may cause some people to think otherwise. It takes time for him to learn how to be a leader, but eventually he grows into the unifying force that leads all the other DigiDestined and keeps them together.

Wizarmon is a Majin Digimon. He comes from "Witchelny", which is a separate part of the Digital World. He is a shy and caring dealer by nature, though he rarely shows his real face except to those he trusts. Adept at trickery, he is capable of reading minds and conjuring energy in numerous forms. Wizarmon has several physical qualities that make his appearance enigmatic and mystical. He wears ragged clothes, wears a pointed steeple hat, and can create fear gas.

He felt that his old life was boring and that he was more free in the Digital World.

The main character of DUAL!, Kazuki is regarded as a pariah by his classmates because he periodically has visions of giant robots battling in the city. After being accidentally sent to the parallel world by Ken and Mitsuki Sanada, Kazuki discovers that he is the only male that can control the mechas. Because of his unbelievable piloting skill, he is commissioned to the Earth Defense Force and becomes the new pilot of the white Core Robot. His cover story at school is that he&#039;s Mitsuki&#039;s little brother, which gives Kazuki quite a bit of trouble.    Curiously, there is no alternate version of Kazuki Yotsuga in this world. Later in the series, Kazuki subconsciously awakens one of the original alien mechas, a robot named Zinv. It&#039;s revealed that Zinv is Kazuki&#039;s counterpart in the parallel world.    Kazuki is the stereotypical harem anime protagonist: a shy, quiet and awkward everyman possessing incredible fighting power and illogical charisma. As usual, he attracts a bevy of beautiful women.    When Zinv is destroyed, Kazuki&#039;s desire for the group to stay together results in the creation of a third possible world, where elements from the parallel universes are combined. The show&#039;s protagonist. He aspires to become a great duelist like his father. Shobu keeps a positive attitude throughout the series, insisting on dueling for fun as opposed to simply winning. He&#039;s brave, strong, and true. He uses a Fire Civilization deck which later becomes a Dragon Deck.

He drives a Caterham Super Seven JPE, though he drove a modified Daihatsu Midget II on a racetrack.

Ikuya Asano is another one of Youko&rsquo;s classmates who is transported to the kingdom of Kou.    ~!He goes missing after a battle between Yuka and Youko and is not seen by either of them for some time. Asano eventually becomes part of a group of Shusei and works for them as they traveled through the kingdoms. However, being in a completely alien country and lacking the ability to speak or understand the language, the strain has taken a toll on his sanity. Eventually, Asano questions the reason he was ever brought to Kou and seemingly can't find a reason for his life to go on. He dies at some point later in the anime. In the novels, Asano does not exist and Youko attends an all girls school.!~


Daiki Asuka is a fourteen-year-old boy at St. Paulia's Private School, and is a top student in his class. His physical strength and motor skills are lacking.   Called Asuka Jr. by his classmates, Daiki Asuka is the son of Detective Tomoki Asuka. Because his father has been unable to catch Saint Tail, and doesn't place any emergency on this thief's capture, Asuka Jr. takes to task. He plans to one-up his father by catching Saint Tail.   After his getting close enough to photograph Saint Tail, Asuka Jr. is awarded a badge from the mayor, which allows him to go anywhere to investigate. With this, he is able to assist the police in Saint Tail's capture. Asuka Jr. is given notice beforehand of Saint Tail's crimes, at his own request. As she slips away from him caper after caper, Saint Tail becomes the object of Asuka Jr.'s thoughts.   Very dense about relationships, Asuka Jr. fails to see Meimi's growing feelings for him. He often argues with Meimi (whom he calls Haneoka), over Saint Tail and his inability to catch her. Asuka Jr. begins to think of Meimi when he sees Saint Tail, and viceversa, and is torn between which of the two he's falling in love with.   (Source: Wikipedia) 

Maruss and Rembrant are a team who end up pursuing the team of Tia and Megumi early in the Mamodo fight. Their element is metal. Maruss was originally Tia&#039;s best friend in the Mamodo World, caring and looking out for her compared to her bullying ways against Zatch. But once in the human world, his mentality changes, believing that friends can no longer be friends due to the nature of fighting and must go against one another to become king. Rembrant is a power-hungry, blithering idiot who believes he can rule the world with his mamodo Maruss.    When Tia and Maruss meet for the first time in the human world, he betrays her and attacks her, sending her into the ocean. When Tia survives and is taken cared by Megumi, they start to pursuit her and attack them on many occasions, due to Megumi being a famous idol. While assaulting Tia in the midst of one of Megumi&#039;s concerts, Zatch comes to her rescue by standing up to Maruss until both their bookkeepers arrive to fight the battle against him. Ultimately, it is Zatch, the former &quot;weakling&quot; neither he or Tia cared for, who defeats the prideful Mamodo, (his shirt was all ripped) and forces Tia to change her ways about friendship in the heat of battle. 

Dio Eraclea is the 16-year-old younger brother of the most powerful Guild member, Maestro Delphine Eraclea. People see him as a rare find that will someday take over the Guild. He is very playful and fearless, and treats many things like they were games. His odd nature can be seen in his awe of Claus Valca's skills and giving him the nickname "Immelmann" (referring to the World War I German ace, Max Immelmann and the maneuver Claus frequently used while flying, the Immelmann turn). This strange nature is mostly due to the Guild lifestyle and fear of his sister Delphine. His first appearance in the series is marked by a chess-match with his beloved friend Lucciola and with the Guild's power and surveillance, watches the skies of a skirmish between Guild ships searching for Alvis Hamilton and the Silvana. He finds extraordinary talent in Claus's vanship piloting, and after the Horizon Cave Eight vanship race, he starts to have strong interactions with the main characters. He later joins them on the Silvana in order to escape his sister, but is forced back to the Guild before long, and is brainwashed by a Guild device in preparation for the "Rite of the Covenant". Driven to insanity, he participates in the Rite of the Covenant, where the next Maestro is chosen, and emerges victorious. He escapes with Claus and Alvis soon after and is nursed back to health in the Mad-Thane residence. He flees from there in a vanship and travels to the Grand Stream. Being delirious, his memory resets to the moment of the race in Horizon Cave, and he attempts to pass Claus. At that moment he tells his navi, Lucciola (who isn't there), to jump out so they can get more speed. He crosses a flock of rainbirds believing them to be the finish line and congratulates Lucciola on their victory and invites him to celebrate, but he then turns around to find he is not there. Believing Lucciola had actually jumped from the vanship, he attempts to cross to his seat while crying, but his vanship is then hit by a gust of wind and he is swallowed by the Grand Stream. Despite this, his voice is heard during a later scene in the Silvana's engine room cheering "Ascending!"   ~!There is a scene depicted in the series' official artwork showing Claus, Lavie, and their friends living on the farm turning and smiling at an individual stepping into the frame with them. Cheerful and optimistic to the extreme, Zero hides his fears and refuses to ever be depressed. His straightforward and optimistic personality sometimes grates on others. A bit thickheaded, he&#039;s not the smartest candidate, but he can move with the best of them. His fierce rival is Hiead Gner also an orphan,who doesn't like Zero's cheerfull spirit.

His piloting abilities are like carbon that hasn&#039;t yet been formed into a diamond. Zero hasn&#039;t yet mastered his EX. 

His number is 88 and his Repairer is Kizuna Towryk.

As Trigun unfolds, it becomes apparent that Knives believes that humans are parasites that need to be exterminated. He wants to create a peaceful and fair world with Vash and his other plant brethren, and he believes the only way to do this is by killing off all humans. Knives never claims to be a god; simply a superior being to homosapiens. If Knives were able to kill all humans and begin creating his "Eden" on Gunsmoke, it is very likely that he would act similarly to Vash, and act as a kind and loving individual. This can be seen in the final episode of the anime, where Knives peacefully rests amidst the oasis he has created and greets Vash as his brother arrives, but this could actually be a facade of placidity. Hige seems to know how to function the best in human society, even wearing a dog collar, although the true meaning behind his collar is revealed later in the series that is a tag/transmitter . He tends to use his intuition more than the others, but only when he&#039;s not thinking with his stomach instead. Hige is quite the ladies&#039; man and is always on the look-out for a nice girl. He has the best sense of smell between the others. Hige seems to be a Mexican wolf in the series. The 12-year old boy who happens to own the wristwatch that controls the world's most powerful robot! However, this is hardly fun and games. Robo's power is a huge responsibility. Daisaku feels that he should use Robo to help the world, as his father wanted him to, and it pains him to see Robo not work. Daisaku also sometimes feels that he is just a helpless kid and nothing without the robot, and it makes him frustrated. He is also a little nieve, being young. He admired the clean energy of the Shizuma drive until he learned of its dark past.

Joe is from Japan, although he is actually half-Japanese. A delinquent youth, he escaped from a juvenile detention facility before being captured by Black Ghost.

Hakuou is perceived as an intelligent duelist with a strong winning streak. He has a habit of holding back in order to toy with his opponents until he has one or two shields remaining before taking things seriously and twist everything around with a single turn.
