Yoh was born into the famous Shaman family, Asakura. He has a twin brother named [Hao](https://anilist.co/character/172/Asakura-Hao) who is a powerful reincarnation of the original HAO who keeps getting reborn. For this reason, Yoh is said to be the only one who can defeat his brother, and he himself is, as stated in the manga, a half of the original HAO, thus has many of the qualities of the reincarnation before him.

Yoh also has a fiance, named [Anna](https://anilist.co/character/170/Kyouyama-Anna), who he saved from her destructive power of Reishi (mind-reading put simply) which is helped by Hao's old cat friend, [Matamune](https://anilist.co/character/19120/Matamune). Matamune, however, dies drastically after saving Anna's life, giving the last bit of his energy to do this. When Yoh was 13, he joined the Shaman Fight, with the reason to make his life a more comfortable place, for both him and Anna.

Yoh himself is a pretty laid-back type of guy. He gets along with everyone around him, and making friends comes easy to him. Although he may not seem serious most of the time, he actually can get really serious when needed to be. Ironically, his twin brother, Hao is a bit like this as well, and many of Yoh's characteristics overlap with his as well. Yoh however, seems to be a bit more sensible than Hao since he looks at things always in a positive light and has something good to say about everything.

Lust is a Homunculus, nicknamed the &quot;Ultimate Spear&quot;, and one of the first antagonists in the Fullmetal Alchemist series. She is the first Homunculus to appear in the series and plays a significant role in the plot of both the manga and 2003 anime series. Lust is also usually partnered with Gluttony to whom she appears to have a particular almost motherly closeness. Her Ouroboros mark is located on her collarbone, just above her breasts.     

 __In the 2003 anime series;__  She is largely the same as her manga counterpart, highly intelligent, manipulative, devoted to her own ideals, however she begins to crave becoming a human as the series progresses. Her main purpose amongst the Homunculi is gathering information and traveling abroad, manipulating alchemists into creating Philosopher&#039;s Stones. Gaining true humanity is the focal point of her ambition, arguably much more so than the rest of the Homunculi.

 __In the manga and 2009 anime series;__  Lust is the only female Homunculus and the second to be created by Father. Due to her high intelligence and devotion to Father&#039;s plan, Lust appears to have a great deal of free reign and authority within the organization, seeming to have a position second only to Pride and on par with Wrath. Lust also has a great disdain for humans, thinking them frail, predictable and generally stupid. Moreover, she appears to take pleasure in using and throwing them away. Takumi is a short and wealthy boy who lives in Gold Town, his most defining attribute in the series being almost obsessed with justice and the differences between right and wrong. When Takumi was young, his parents left him alone with a very large sum of money, more than he claims he could ever use and will never have to get a job. So because of his abundance of money and free time, using his Techode Thunderbolt, he goes out and attempts to solve crimes and punish evil-doers, because he wants to do something good, as he feels the local police force is very lacking. Takumi is also noted to have a very short temper and constantly takes out his anger on people, usually ending up in him getting in wide variety of trouble. Takumi's main adversary in the series is Katana who is essentially his polar opposite, using his Techode to commit crimes and not caring about others at all along with several polarities in appearance, personality and back story. Takumi refers to Katana as evil and is more obsessed with Katana than Katana is with Hajiki. Time and again, Takumi claims that Katana is a beast, raised in violence, and for that reason, violence is all he knows, saying that he cannot be made friends with and he is not a real person at all. Despite all of Takumi's loathing, Katana sees him only as a pest that he's done nothing to provoke and on more than one occasion beats Takumi severely. Later in the series it becomes apparent that Takumi's constant ranting about Katana being violent and vicious is actually Takumi casting his own control issues on Katana because it's easier for the "bad guy" to be the one with problems, as "heroes" are good and just and can never be wrong. It is Hajiki that tells Takumi he could never truly understand how hard it is to live without money, as his parents left him enough so that he would never have to "waste his life" in a job. Unlike Hajiki, who works for a living, and Katana, who steals and is a mercenary for a living, Takumi is "too busy being high and mighty and righteous" to see that the world isn't black and white. Takumi later admits to himself that he has no idea what he was talking about and didn't know anything about the people he was fighting or who he was protecting. Hajiki is on Takumi's side in the belief that Katana must be stopped when he is doing something wrong, but unlike Takumi, Hajiki does not believe that it is their job to stop every single evil, and for this reason they are not horribly close. Aiko, however, acts much as Sayuri does to Katana and insists to Takumi that they should all be friends, even suffering to deal with his temper and bad attitude, only to smile and continue to talk with him. After the loss of Thunderbolt, Takumi grows close to Aiko and gets a job at Hajiki's mother's restaurant.  Thunderbolt Thunderbolt, like Lightning and Zero, is crafted to fight, only made to be agile and quick more than powerful. Thunderbolt is tall with long, thin limbs and a wide head. Thunderbolt also has the ability to shoot bolts of lightning from its hands and head, and for a short time grows large blades on its forearms. Thunderbolt fights like Takumi does, with fast, chaotic punches and with all the rage he has inside of him, which leads to Thunderbolt's destruction when it loses control and rabidly mauls Messerschmitt even while Takumi begged it to stop.  from wikipedia

Akane is a boy who pushed Inari in the water in episode 11. After he lost interest in Pochi, Akane threw him into the sea. When Inari hesitated to go in and save him, Akane pushed him in too. Although Inari started to drown, Akane and his friends left. After Kaiza saved Inari, he gave Akane a stern talking to.

Kami-sama is a fictional character in the manga/anime Saiyuki, who is a loyal servant to Dr. Jianyi/Ukoku Sanzo. Apart from the name &quot;Kami-sama&quot; given to him by his master, he is sometimes known as Nameless Sanzo.    During a final showdown with Genjyo Sanzo and Sanzo-Ikkou in Saiyuki Reload, Kami-sama was flabberglasted when Genjyo Sanzo enquire him on his official Sanzo name given to him when he become a Sanzo; he says &quot;You may have succeeded the power, the robe and the city, but you never succeeded the title of Sanzo&quot;. Kami-sama&#039;s mind become lost and agitated. Because of this reason, he is known as Nameless Sanzo.    Nevertheless, the Nameless Sanzo is one of the toughest enemies of Genjyo Sanzo and Sanzo-Ikkou (Genjyo Sanzo&#039;s party) have faced in this second series of Saiyuki.     ~~~ __Background__~~~    Kami-sama has a birthmark on his right face, wears a cheerful smile similar to his Master, loves plush toys and fun and has a cheerful behaviour like a child. He lives in a castle built by his master, Ukoku Sanzo. A pact was made between him and his master that if he dies, the castle will slowly crumbles and dies with him.    When he was a child, he sought pity from Ukoku Sanzo to take care of him, which Ukoku Sanzo obliged. From that day onwards, the child become a loyal servant to Ukoku Sanzo. Ukoku Sanzo trained and passed down his knowledge, including his powers, to the child, who did not know that he will be used as a pawn by his master (who then become Dr. Ni Jianyi) to kill Genjyo Sanzo and Sanzo-Ikkou.     ~~~ __Weapons And Powers/Abilities__~~~    He wears a long Buddha bead which surrounds his body. It is believed to give him magical powers. The power includes enabling him to have high dexterity to fly and dodges attack from enemies plus protection from heavy hits from enemies. His beads are able to attack and strike his enemies in short distance (pierce through body) and long distance (able to capture and strangle).    He can summon a palm size rod that has golden peach fruit shape on both ends. The controller is able to summon and command floating beads to move erratically like projectiles to hit his enemies. His weapon was so powerful that it has led to one of Genjyo Sanzo and Sanzo-Ikkou&#039;s bitter defeats.    He also has the ability to create illusions spells. He has used illusion spells on Ginkaku believing his brother Jingkaku was transformed into a hideous beast. In order to confuse strangers entering his castle, he had created an endless loop route in a forest outside his castle compound and Maze of Fog which was placed at the entrance of his castle.    To aid him in his fight against the four fighters, the Nameless Sanzo has plush toy armies in his castle that were made of captured human souls (that were considered bad) by Ginkaku. It would be raised to serve him when he is in trouble.     ~! ~~~ __The Battle__~~~    He was one of the characters who have successfully defeat Genjyo Sanzo, taking away his Mantra Sutra from him and in the process severely injured Sanzo-Ikkou. With the help of Hakuryu, Sha Gojyo managed to make a quick rescue of his companions and make a retreat away from the battle.    It was a severe blow to the four fighters as they had underestimated their enemy&#039;s abilities. But they came back after recuperating, and face him again for another showdown, this time using Union Tactic to defeat him. In the end he was successfully defeated where Genjyo Sanzo managed to shoot him three times with his gun, thus ending the furious showdown.    He refused a rescue offer from Sha Gojyo in order to meet his master.
