As class representative of 2-C, Hanai takes his duties seriously, always trying to keep his classmates (especially the males) in line. Unable to have second thoughts, he always says exactly what comes into his mind regardless of the consequences. He is hopelessly in love with Yakumo, so strongly that she can read his mind literally from a mile away.    As a child, he was shy, weak, and always been bullied by other children. That changed with a little help from Mikoto, who has been his friend since that time. He attends the same dojo as her and has a black belt in Kenpo as well. He tries very hard to join the Tea Club that Yakumo is in, but is banned by Akira. Despite Hanai and Mikoto having their own love interests, characters around them sometimes think that they are too close to be just friends. Some of his classmates like Yuuki seems to have a crush on him.

4th-year Violin student. His father owns a Chinese restaurant "Uraken" right next to the university. He is something of a prima donna whose violin technique is seen by himself to be deeply personal but by others to be simply sloppy. He sees Chiaki as a rival for attention and tries hard to compete with his "Princely" image of him. He likes Nodame for her free-spirited ways. He is the concertmaster of the S Orchestra conducted by Chiaki, and a violinist in the R☆S Orchestra. He is also the one who thought that performing like Jimi Hendrix, and adding a touch of 'rock' would give quality despite that it looks dumb in an original orchestra (as stated by Chiaki). He is currently dating Kiyora Miki.

One of the brothers of the Tiger clan. He uses cueballs and a pool stick to attack his enemies, even using such techniques as bouncing cueballs on the ground off each other to hit from behind. He is the first one that Koushi and friends must fight to retrieve his part of the antidote to the poison that Tenten inflicts upon Koushi.

Shino Aburame is character who has a fascination with bugs; most of his spare time is spent watching bugs, he often makes analogies to bugs when talking. In addition to liking bugs, Shino is characterized by his emotionless, solitary, and collected way of doing things. He speaks very bluntly and never allows emotion to interfere with his judgment, sometimes offending people in doing so. Despite his odd personality and occasionally arguing with Kiba, Shino has a very strong sense of connection with his teammates and allies.  Shino alongside Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka is in team 8 which is led by Kurenai Yuhi.  In battle, Shino is able to take great use of his intelligence, being able to use his analytical and observational skills to make shrewd judgments with pinpoint reasoning. As a member of the Aburame clan, Shino was infused at birth with a special breed of insects that feed on chakra. In return for becoming a living hive, the insects attack opponents, usually while he distracts them, and carry out other tasks as he commands. Shino has found a number of uses for these bugs, and as such has devised a number of jutsu that utilize them for varying purposes, such as creating copies of himself or using bugs for defensive purposes.

Among the Alchemic Warriors, he is the junior to Tokiko, whom he has a big crush on. He longs for the same relationship she shares with Kazuki, and as a result, finds himself disliking him. Yet despite all this, he cooperates with Kazuki and Tokiko as they try to uncover the conspiracy behind the Black Kakugane. Gouta is a strategic planner and fights with variations of his Buso Renkin. As shown in his fight against Negoro, he was able to figure out Secret Trail&#039;s secret and use it against Negoro. In Buso Renkin After, he joins Ginsei High with Busujima.    Buso Renkin: Motor Gear  Motor Gear is the form of his Arms Alchemy using Kakugane LV(55). It takes the form of a pair of gear-shaped chakrams, which has a variety of applications ranging from close-to-long range weaponry to increased mobility for Gouta himself. Motor Gear is regarded as one of the weakest Arms Alchemy currently in use, however, it more than makes up for this with its speed and size which makes it extremely hard to see, along with the wide variety of uses the Motor Gear can utilize in combat. The Greek god Thanatos (死を司る神タナトス, Shi o tsukasadoru kami Tanatosu?, shi o tsukasadoru kami meaning &quot;death-ruling god&quot;) is one of the antagonist deities featured in the universe of the Manga Saint Seiya, authored by Masami Kurumada, that was later adapted to Anime. He was created by Kurumada based on the mythologic persona of the same name.    As in Greek mythology, he is the personification of mortality and death, and the twin brother of Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep. In Kurumada&#039;s mythos, although he is a subordinate of Hades, the Emperor of the Darkness and ruler of the Underworld, he is a deity with all attributes, and as his lord, he is a sworn enemy of the protector goddess of the Earth, Athena.    Kurumada introduced Thanatos in the final parts of the Hades arc of his manga, specifically in vol. 27, and he is portrayed as very cruel, merciless, hateful towards humans, haughty, and non-hesitant to whimsically inflict death. He was sealed along with his brother by Athena after being defeated in her last battle against Hades, in 18th century. Thanatos spent 243 years sealed in a box marked with the Seal of Athena, and only regained his freedom after the box was opened by a curiosity-driven 3 year-old Pandora, to whom he announced that the resurrection of Hades was near, and that she would serve them henceforth. A strange looking star is placed in his forehead. Unlike his brother Hypnos, who is more calm and calculating, Thanatos is prone to lose his temper and act without any regard for consequences when influenced by rage.    His dwelling place is the Elysion, and he spends most of his time there accompanied by scores of Nymphs, and his twin brother Hypnos, waiting to fulfill their lord Hades&#039;s bidding. Thanatos offered fierce opposition to the Saints of Athena, when they tried to rescue their goddess from certain death and stop Hades&#039;s Greatest Eclipse, which was meant to eradicate mankind.    Thanatos duty is to impart death on all living beings when their time has come, or as divine retribution. Before his formal introduction in the anime adaptation, he was featured in the opening of the Inferno stage of the Hades arc episodes (episode 128 and on), standing next to his brother Hypnos, and overshadowed by Hades. His full appearance in the anime adaptation occurred in 2008, in the final episodes that adapt the last two volumes of the manga, in which his participation is contained (vols. 27 and 28), 16 years after Kurumada introduced him in the manga. Marco Rocca is Jet's buddy in orphanage and a close friend of Robert. Shinobu is Akira&#039;s older brother who attends university. He is constantly worried about his sister, and often takes her places in his car, though Akira often gets very annoyed at how protective her brother is towards her.     He is often seen giving up a lot of his free time following her around, much to the chagrin of both his sister and mother. He is often told by his mother that he needs to get his own life in order before he could be concerned about his sister&#039;s life. He however claims that his overprotective nature is not as bad as their father&#039;s.     Despite forcefully volunteering to chaperone Akira and her friends around, he is exasperated by them. He finds the group of girls to be tiresome, save for Fumi, who is not as exicitable as the rest. He eventually comes to find out that Fumi is a lesbian through a conversation he has with Yasuko, which surprises him. He shows interest in Kyouko, though mostly out of curiousity rather than attraction. Shinobu is a little gruff with any males he sees interacting with Akira. He suspects Sawanoi Kou of having designs on Akira and so keeps an open eye on him.    Shinobu eventually starts dating Miwa &quot;Mogi&quot; Motegi, Fumi&#039;s schoolmate.

He fell in love with Kuome after their first meeting.

Despite his childish appearance Daisuke is actually a very skilled hacker, and excels at making powerful Data Bugs. His specialty is making chimeras, unique monsters that are composed of bits and pieces of other monsters. However he also has several childlike traits, and can be very stubborn and impatient at times. When one of his creations is destroyed he frequently yells at its attacker for cheating, despite the fact that he is a cheater himself. Out of the four hackers, he is the most sadistic.
