Katsuyuki (克幸) is one of the four hackers who acted as villians during the anime version of .hack//Legend of the Twilight. 

A boy who loves riding his bike around the neighborhood in Nekomi. He meets Skuld during the time where she was learning to ride a bike. He was the one who taught her that it didn&#039;t matter if she fell off the first few times she tried, what mattered was that she got back up, and eventually she learned. This coincided with Skuld&#039;s magical powers slowly developing - it was revealed that a Goddess&#039; power comes from the power of love others. Skuld started to fall in love with Sentaro, and hence her powers started to develop. Sentaro eventually moves away with his family, though Skuld does not become sad by it, as she claims that despite the distance they will always meet when they want. It turns out that Sentaro only moved across town, much to Skuld&#039;s embarrassment due to her previously stated claims.    source: Wikipedia

A timid young girl who ends up becoming Tetsuo&#039;s companion and Akira&#039;s babysitter.     ~!In the manga, Kaori is introduced after Neo-Tokyo is destroyed by Akira when she tries to get food for her crippled father. After she&#039;s discovered that she isn&#039;t a member of The Great Tokyo Empire, she&#039;s denied food and later on recruited by Tetsuo&#039;s aide with three other girls to serve as Tetsuo&#039;s playmates.     Tetsuo gives each of the girls the government-issued drug, and mistaking it for a medicine, Kaori instead saves it for her sick father; which ends up saving her from sharing the fate of the others girls whom end up being killed by the strong effect of the drug.    Her caring and innocent nature earns her Tetsuo&#039;s trust and genuine affection, and she becomes the person to whom he turns for comfort, especially whenever he suffers the strain of the power evolving within him. After Tetsuo begins to mutate and he no longer able to control his powers, his aides plan to assassinate him; hearing of that Kaori takes off to warn him, but gets shot by them.    When Tetsuo finds her dying body, he enters a battle with the American army, then with Kaneda. Later on he attempts to revive her, but fails. He then carries her dead body to Akira&#039;s cryogenic chamber and she was last seen by Kei when she takes cover inside it after Tetsuo&#039;s body goes through another mutation.!~ 

He is Yamato&#039;s fellow friend under Armada. He uses the B-Daman, Wing Ninja which was later recreated into Wing Sword and Wing Eagle. Many fans mistaken Terry as a female but he is a male. Terry started appearing in season 1. He is 10 years old.    In Season 2, Terry and Joe decide to enter the Winners Tournament together but along the way, Terry finds a Strike Shot, Random Shot. Joe deems that Terry will not improve with him along so he leaves, only to find Terry following him, not wanting him to go. However, Haja hears of this Strike Shot and attacks Terry for it. The two enter into battle and Haja pretends to admit defeat. Falling for his trick, Haja snatches the Strike Shot from Terry and he shoots. It is originally aimed towards Terry but Joe steps in to protect his brother/pupil. Akira wants to be the Greatest Commander of Battle Robots and win the Titan Belt, a great honor. In the night before his Commander registration, he dreamt that he won the Titan Belt. The next day he and his team, Team Akira, resolve that they, at any cost, will defeat the opposing team at the Commander registration match.  Unfortunately, they must have at least 4 robots to compete and they had only 3. But somehow he manages to enter. When he was losing, his Grandpa sends him his 4th robot, Daigunder. After the match, Daigunder transforms into his mini-form, Ryuga. They both start fighting as to who performed better and turn out to be the bitterest of enemies. But as the series progress, we find that they turn out to be the best of friends.  Akira is a kind and courageous boy. If he sees any of his robots in danger, he jumps in the middle of the fight without a second thought. Akira and Ryuga's partnership is admirable throughout the series. When Daigunder was controlled by Dragon Buster to destroy Akira, he played on his life to save Daigunder.

Female, octopus-like Hollow who dislikes fighting, preferring to float out of reach in a manner as if hanging in the air, hence the title "Chandelier." She attacks by firing seed-like projectiles at humans, co-opting their bodies and using them as fodder. She can also fire the seeds like missiles. Numb Chandelier is defeated by Orihime Inoue after she awakens her latent powers while trying to protect Tatsuki Arisawa. 

The granddaughter of Father Dragon and Mother Tiger who challenges Freeman for the leadership of the 108 Dragons shortly after his succession. She attempts a coup d'état immediately after Freeman and Emu's wedding.

Son Gokuu is a boy we meet in a forest far from any civilization. He lives in this forest alone as his grandpa passed away, he only has this special orb-like object called a Dragon Ball to remember him by, which he will sometimes talk to as if it is his Grandpa Gohan. As the series continues, Gokuu meets Bulma, a brilliant teenage girl, and they go on a journey to collect these 7 magical dragon balls which actually have wish granting powers once all of them are collected. During this journey they meet and befriend Yamcha, Oolong, and Pu'ar, whose characters mirror those found in Wu Cheng'en's _Journey to the West_. Gokuu also encounters one his closest friends, Kuririn, and others during his time training. Participating in several World Martials Arts Tournaments, ~!Gokuu also battles foes-turned-allies such as Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as well as the offspring of Demon King Piccolo named Piccolo Junior.!~

_Dragon Ball Z_ takes place 5 years after the defeat of King Piccolo and Gokuu's last world tournament. We come to find out that Son Gokuu was originally named Kakarot, and is born a member of a race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. Shortly following his birth, Gokuu was sent from his home, planet Vegeta, to prepare Earth for sale on the intergalactic market by destroying all its life but due to that injury to his head that caused him severe amnesia, Gokuu forgot his purpose, and instead started focusing on becoming stronger for a little more than the pleasure of it. He now has a son named Son Gohan (named after Grandpa Gohan) who is some what of a cry baby but has hidden potential. Throughout the series, Gokuu faces terribly strong opponents like other powerful Saiyans, Intergalactic Rulers, Androids, and Extraterrestrial Beings that give him fights like no other. Along with new enemies, Gokuu also gains new friends that help him in these situations.  

In  _Dragon Ball GT_, which was not based on Toriyama's manga, Gokuu is turned into a child by a wish on the dragon balls by Pilaf. The series revolves around him traveling around space to find the Black Star Dragon Balls with the help of his granddaughter, Pan, and Trunks. The series ends with Gokuu leaving for good with Shenron and returning one hundred years later to witness the match between Gokuu Jr. and Vegeta Jr.  

In  _Dragon Ball Online_ (which takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z, and unlike Dragon Ball GT, Toriyama had a lot of creative control over the story), a new villain by the name of Miira appears with the goal to obtain Gokuu's DNA.  In  _Cross Epoch_, the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot, Gokuu is seen accompanying Luffy to attend a party hosted by Shenron from whom key characters from both series had received an invitation.!~

Twelve-year-old Naota Nandaba is the main character. His name is derived from the Japanese word for &quot;honesty&quot; and his father named him Naota because of that (Fooly Cooly). Unbeknownst to him, he has the &quot;right kind of head&quot; to be used as an N.O. channel. He is obsessed with appearing mature and attempts to act nonchalant. This is most expressed in his monologues which open and close each episode where he continues to claims that &quot;nothing amazing ever happens here&quot; despite the show&#039;s surreal and often absurd happenings. Naota idolizes his older brother Tasuku, carrying around Tasuku&#039;s baseball bat, and even hanging out with Tasuku&#039;s old girlfriend Mamimi. In Naota&#039;s mind, Tasuku is the epitome of what it means to be an adult, as opposed to the other adults in his life (e.g. his father, his grandfather, and his teacher) who he perceives as being immature. Much like Amarao, Naota is picky about his drinks (disliking drinks which are sour, bitter, or contain pulp) and hates spicy foods (note thought, he is told to &quot;cut back on the sour drinks&quot; by Amarao). His guitar is the Gibson Flying V which Haruko pulls out of his head in the fourth episode.     ~!While at the beginning of the series he appears to be bothered by Haruko&#039;s presence, over the course of the series he realizes his own feelings and admits that he loves her in the final episode. As Mamimi is his symbol of childhood, and Haruko is his symbol of adulthood, when they both leave Mabase, he is left right in the middle where he belongs, in adolescence. !~

Born from aristocrats that restricted her, she grew up a criminal and allied herself with the Masked Man, being head over heels in love with him, though he only used her as a pawn. She is the regular villain of the show. When not on criminal activities, she serves as teacher to Tokio and Sora&#039;s class.

Sweet and nurturing, she is married to the flirtacious Tokaki for reasons no one can figure out. Though she is often exasperated by Tokaki's roving eye, she does love her husband. Unlike Tokaki, she feels that Miaka and Tamahome should enjoy what happiness they have, though she does agree with telling the pair that they could never have a happy ending.   (Source: Wikipedia)

Yoko Kayabuki is Japan's newly elected prime minister in Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG. Kayabuki first appears in the second season of Stand Alone Complex and is elected as Japan's first female prime minister. She reinstates Section 9 after a deal was made with Aramaki in the Stand Alone Complex, 2 years after the raid by Umibozu commandos on Section 9's headquarters.  Politically, she was selected by the ruling party as an internal political movement to conservatism in the wake of the Laughing Man scandal that brought down the previous government. However, she was perceived as being politically weak - the Cabinet at this time was increasing in political power and becoming led by personality rather than by electoral responsibility, and in addition the undercurrent of secret manipulation by the Cabinet Intelligence Agency through the Individual Eleven / Refugee Crisis sought to make the Prime Minister a rubber stamping figurehead - it is a tribute the Kayabuki and her wisdom of selecting Daisuke Aramki and Major Kusanagi as personal advisors that prevented potentially cataclysmic events during the beginning of her premiership. This demonstration of capability, and the calling in of favours owed at the height of the crisis increased her ability to control Japan in the wake thereof. She also demonstrated that she held clout from a military stand-point: The JASDF was her tool of choice for reminding the contending land and sea force commanders where Japans true military prowess was to be found, from both a domestic and military stand-point.  Kayabuki becomes a victim of the Individual Eleven and is involved with Section 9's investigation into the case. During the refugee crisis, she is arrested under charges of treason for requesting the UN to intervene in the crisis, though this action on the part of the Ruling Party chairman was not sanctioned by either party, or electorate - her escape from custody and the aid of Section 9 prevented this secret coup d'etat from becoming a reality, and also then sent a clear signal to the American Empire that Japan prefers a Stand-alone status within the international community.  She appears briefly in Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society, where she remains Prime Minister, and Daisuke Aramaki's immediate superior.

The World Amateur Champion is a handsome boxer from Russia who excels at outboxing and taking points, but adopts a vicious infighting style when he moves to Japan (Ippo notices how depressed he looks after this happens). Raised by a single mother in a small town near to St. Petersburg, Volg originally takes up boxing in order to provide medical assistance for his seriously ill mom (who coincidentally looks a lot like Hiroko Makunouchi, but with longer and reddish hair), but after consecutive losses to both Ippo and Sendou, he is forced to leave the Otawa Gym and return to Russia, staying by his mother&#039;s side until her death. Besides his incredible outboxing technique, Volg&#039;s greatest weapon is a vertical combination called &quot;White Fang&quot; (a short, quick left uppercut, followed by an incredibly fast and powerful chopping right). Volg later returns to Japan to get his old boxing gloves from Ippo before he goes to America, and ends up helping Ippo train for his upcoming match against Sawamura Ryuhei. Currently Volg is in America fighting at the world stage and, under the training of Dankichi Hama, is the 4th ranked IBF Jr. Lightweight fighter. His personality is very humble and polite, though he&#039;s a very good boxer, Volg admits that he doesn&#039;t really like boxing as it hurts other people but only does it so he can help his ill mother back home but finally comes to realize he has passion for boxing. There was also a running gag at the beginning, related to his rusty Japanese. When Ippo met Volg when he couldn&#039;t read kanji in the subway, and few minutes after their first conversation he got in trouble with other native Japanese people for the very same reason.

Rei's younger sister, who was kidnapped and sold into slavery by Jagi. The Fang Clan manage to get a hold of her to use her as a leverage against Rei, but she is rescued by Ken and Rei. One of Natsumi's friends, although she hangs out with him a lot, she is disgusted with his perverted attitude. This gets worse when Mii shows up and he becomes infatuated with her. He also has frequent conflicts with his dad, whom he insults for serving peas (which he hates) with whale meat.

Ahem's daughter, the water spirit. Centuries ago she was engaged to Ongo until he became evil and they were split up. Then in 2009,Rongo spotted Ongo in Tokyo with Mii. Believing Mii had taken the form of a 10 year old and taken Ongo for herself,Rongo took over the body of Natsumi's friend Nami,and tried to remove her skull necklace only to receive an electric shock.   Then upon doing a dance, Rongo showed herself and attacked Natsumi with water, and when Ongo showed up, Rongo was horrified that he didn't remember her. So Rongo challenged Natsumi to a duel and, after almost shooting a fighter jet down with jets of water, Natsumi tried to stop Rongo, but due to interference by Ongo, Rongo was transformed into a smaller child version of herself. Only then did Ongo remember her. Having lost her powers, Rongo requested to stay with Natsumi.   When Ongo became evil and giant again, Rongo tried to stop him, but eventually she left it up to Mii. Rongo's powers include being able to control all forms of water.
