The young champion player of Battle Spirits TCG.  As Bashin plays the game with passion, J plays his deck with the power of reason and logic.

J seems to have a cold and aloof personality at first glance. Though he has trouble getting along with others, to those close to him, he's quite protective, especially to his sister, Kyouka. He also tries to be funny, making up gags.

Younger of the two van Hossen sisters. She is lovely and energetic. She loves her father Vincent and loves to cling around him all the time. She already calls Teppei by &#039;Onii-chan&#039; since he is likely to be a family if he marries his fianc&eacute;e Sylvia, Maria&#039;s elder sister.    

Kiseki is Tadase's Guardian Character. He looks like a mini Tadase with different-colored hair. He is extremely egotistical, loves to dominate, but also has tsundere characteristics. He is always trying to outshine Yoru. His bearing is that of typical "king's fashion", complete with crown and mantle. Kiseki also occasionally calls meetings that require all the Guardian Characters to gather. In volume one, Miki seems to have a crush on him, saying he is cool. Kiseki likes to give orders but does not like to obey. Suffers from pollen allergy like Tadase.

Kiseki can do Character Change with Tadase. When this happens, Tadase gains a golden crown and king’s scepter. The only reason he usually Character Changes is to help Tadase become confident and if Tadase is called "prince".

After the "Black Diamonds" incident, he became able to Character Transform with Tadase. Tadase becomes "Platinum Royale" and used the special skill "White Decoration", a skill thought to be a restoration skill.

Touka is an Evenkurugan, a clan of warriors who fight for justice. She fights using a katana. Her increased agility and swordsmanship make her a deadly warrior. She has a weakness for cute animals and is a lightweight when it comes to alcohol and hot baths, over-heating and passing out easily if subjected to either. She is very strict when it comes to discipline on the battlefield and martial arts in general.

 ~!When her master was slain in battle during the confrontation with Hakuowlo, she tried to commit a warrior's suicide to retain her honor as a warrior but Hakuoro stops her from doing so. In return, she pledges fealty to him in order to redeem herself for the injustices committed by her former master, taking the role of Hakuowlo's bodyguard.!~ 

~!Later on, after the demise of the First Emperor of Tuskur, she took on the role of "mother" alongside the rest of Hakuoro's female compatriots to Kuon, the Divine Heir to Hakuowlo's legacy and his only descendant by blood. Currently, due to certain circumstances, she currently resides in Hakurokaku Inn in the outskirts of Imperial Capital of Yamato as a servant with her fellow compatriot and the proprietor of the inn, Karulau.!~

His affinity for astronomy matched only by his infatuation with Aoi, Kuroki is brainy and boasts abundant academic capability. Given his awkwardness in approaching Aoi with the weekend planetarium invitation, it is not that preposterous to speculate (after taking into account individual development) that Kuroki's academic prowess is slightly overemphasized at the expense of his social development. Not suprisingly, Kuroki would love to be involved with the space program in some capacity when he grows up.
