Chihiro (千尋) is a classmate and friend of Kaorin. Little is known except her name. When she appears, she is usually keeping Kaorin company, and she collaborates with her on some projects. Once, when Chiyo-chan tutored her, Yukari assumed it was the reverse. Occasionally Chihiro bears the brunt of Kaorin&#039;s temper, without knowing why; it is unclear how aware she is of Kaorin&#039;s crush on Sakaki. Chihiro was also one of the most disgusted by the cockroach that appeared in class in Episode 2. In the manga, during the senior year sports festival Chihiro dressed as Chihiro from Spirited Away, partnered with another student (possibly Kaorin) dressed as Kaonashi from the same film.

Cecil has short, blond hair and crystal blue eyes. She is rarely seen without a cordless microphone in her hand. A scarf of piano keys is around her neck, she wears a white dress and white boots, and an orange beret with a music note is on her head.     Cecil is an optimistic and musical character. Miruchi and Yuka, during the middle of the series, are grade-school students and good friends of Chiyo-chan, but were separated when Chiyo  advanced to high school. Occasionally, though, the three would meet on the way to school and exchange stories about their experiences. Near the end of the series, though, both Miruchi and Yuka had advanced to middle school and proudly showed-off their new uniforms to Chiyo, as well as Sakaki (who was walking with Chiyo at the time).
