Kon primarily serves as a comedic foil in the series; when not inhabiting Ichigo's body, his normal plushie body is treated with little respect and much disdain. The humorously cruel treatment he is always subjected to provides the comic relief in Bleach. One of the only people who gives him any respect is Chad; however, Chad ignores him most of the time. His plushie body is a knock-off of the main character of the popular TV show Carnivore Kingdom, named "Ponkichi", which happens to be Chad's favorite show. It was a prize from the shooting game in the Karakura Town Festival.[2] He is constantly stepped on and torn, at which point Ichigo will have Uryū Ishida repair the plushie. Uryū usually adds something unwanted or unnecessary when doing so, such as dressing Kon up like a designer doll. Uryū also sewed a Quincy cross on the back of Kon's head as revenge after Kon attacked Uryū for turning him into a doll.  Kon is quite perverted and often takes advantage of his form to get girls to hug him to their chests, which rarely goes as planned. After Ichigo becomes less dependent on Kon to transform, Kon comments on how he wouldn't mind taking Ichigo's body out for a spin again, saying that he'd like go peeping and pulling up skirts because, as he puts it, "It's [Ichigo's] reputation that gets sullied". Kon is very fond of Rukia, calling her "sister", though this extends to basically any pretty girl.  Kon is a special type of soul pill called a "modified soul" or "ModSoul". When inserted into a body, an aspect of the body is made superhuman, which in Kon's case is enhanced speed and strength. Because of the shady origins of the ModSoul, the soul society called for the destruction of all ModSoul pills, but luckily, Kon was shipped out with a load of regular soul pills by mistake. This gives rise to his belief that everyone should be given a chance at life and should not be killed merely based on the circumstances of their origins.  His name "Kon" comes from the word "ModSoul Konpaku", another name for "modified soul". Though Kon wanted his name to be "Mod", Ichigo disagreed for the same reason that Kon liked it, it sounded too cool. Karl (aka: The Phantom) is one of Diva&#039;s Chevalier and the chairman of the all girls school in Vietnam that Saya attends. He is later revealed to be the mysterious phantom of the school who gives out blue roses to his victims. After losing his arm to an out-of-control Saya during the Vietnam War, Karl became obsessed with reenacting the encounter. This obsession eventually proves to be his undoing.


Marcus Damon, is a fictional character in the Digimon Data Squad series. His name, Masaru, means Victory in Japanese. He is the first human lead of any Digimon serial, excluding C'mon Digimon, that doesn't wear goggles. Marcus is also the first human protagonist to physically hurt Digimon on a regular basis.  Marcus is presented as a fourteen year-old student who loves to fight. He lives with his mother and younger sister Kristy (Chika). Marcus meets and fights Agumon in the first episode of the series. When the fight ends in a draw, Agumon agrees to become his partner. Soon afterwards he's recruited as a member of D.A.T.S. As Marcus's partner, Agumon idolizes him and refers to him as his "aniki" (a Japanese colloquialism for "older brother," used in this case with the connotation of "boss" as seen in the Yakuza).  Marcus is one of the few humans shown to fight Digimon by himself, though he still counts on Agumon's help to fight the stronger opponents. Reno is a Turk fighter, comrade/partner of Rude, who uses an electric rod. Most often characterized as loud, reckless and laid-back, Reno is assigned to lead the Turks after Tseng was injured (at least in the movie), which then indirectly shows his seniority despite his "slacker" appearance. 

Shingo Shoji is a member of the Night Kids who drives a red Honda Civic SiR-II (EG-6). Shingo races dangerously&mdash;he will nudge his rival&#039;s car in order to make the other driver lose control. He doesn&#039;t find plain downhill races any fun, preferring to race under a mutual handicap he calls the Duct Tape Death Match. He detests Takeshi Nakazato because he believes that he is unfit to be leader of the Night Kids, a position that Shingo openly covets. Victoreem is one of the demons from 1000 years ago. He is very strong but he isn&#039;t the smartest demon.  He loves honeymelons so much that when he eats some he breaks out of joy and begins to dance, then he sings a song named &quot;Berry Melon&quot; (Eng: Very Melon&quot;).

Dr. Riddles is a tall, old American man with a prominent mustache, a top hat with a floating question mark above it, a monocle and fancy black clothing. He often claims to be the "mysterious professor who knows all", although he is clearly exaggerating. A frequent scene between him and Kido shows Kido explaining something that Dr. Riddles had told him earlier, only for Riddles to say he was "kidding", which causes Kido's expression to become shocked and negative.

Deidara is a missing-nin from Iwagakure. Before joining the Akatsuki, Deidara was a terrorist bomber for hire. His work caught the eye of Pain, who sent other Akatsuki members to recruit him. Though he refused at first, Deidara was forced to join the organization after being defeated by Itachi Uchiha. Deidara maintained a deep loathing for Itachi from that point onward and became determined to defeat him, even training one of his eyes to overcome Itachi's signature ability: genjutsu. Deidara was partnered with Sasori upon joining the organization, who earned Deidara's admiration through his artistic ability and insight. Deidara was partnered with Tobi after Sasori's death, whom he treated as a disciple. Despite Tobi's habit of accidentally angering Deidara, Deidara took great care to keep Tobi out of harm's way and even spent his final moments apologizing to him.  In battle, Deidara uses special mouths on the palm of each hand to create Exploding Clay, chakra-infused clay that explodes on command. He commonly uses the command "Katsu" to trigger it. The blast strength of his creations is determined by how much chakra he adds to them. His clay can take on any size or form, ranging from microscopic in size to copies of himself as tall as a skyscraper. Deidara refers to his creations as "art," believing the most beautiful thing about them to be their detonation. His admiration for his art is to such a degree that he believes it can't be defeated, leading to a feeling of overconfidence in battle. Depending on the complexity or potency of one of his works, Deidara applies it a designation that ranges anywhere between "C1" to "C4", the former being the most basic and the latter being his strongest and most complex attack. For his final act, Deidara also has a mouth on his chest that, once provided with clay, turns him into a living bomb that destroys everything within a 10 kilometer radius.

Iruka Umino is an instructor at the Ninja Academy, characterized by the distinctive scar across his face that he has had since childhood. The name "Umino Iruka" can be taken as "umi no iruka" ("sea dolphin").   Twelve to thirteen years ago, the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attacked Konoha, killing many people. Iruka's parents were still out fighting the Fox and were killed. Iruka was dragged back for protection by an unknown ninja but wanted to stay where he was. After it was over, everyone in the Ninja Academy made fun of him and made him feel just like Naruto Uzumaki.
