The thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, beginning with the legendary figure Ishikawa Goemon (石川 五右衛門). He has a sword called Zantetsuken (斬鉄剣), meaning "iron-cutting sword", which can cut through almost anything. In one episode during the TV series Goemon admitted that his sword cannot cut konnyaku, which is a starch-based jelly made from yams, because the blade just gets stuck in it. The Zantetsuken is usually used to cut inanimate objects, which Goemon considers unworthy of his blade and often mutters his catchphrase "once again, I have cut a worthless object" after doing so. Objects cut by Zantetsuken will fall apart a couple of seconds after he sweeps through them with his blade. He is usually quiet and participates in Lupin's exploits less frequently than Jigen.

He is also a skilled pilot.

Gren was once a soldier for the war on Titan, and appears in the two-part episodes of &#039;Jupiter Jazz&#039;. On Titan he fought beside Vicious, who he admired and found encouragement in, during the war. After the war, Gren came back hoping to be a jazz musician, but that plan was cut short when he was arrested on the pretense of being a spy. In prison, Gren heard that Vicious testified against him; this and the isolation drove him mad. The prison used prisoners for drug experiments, and he was forced to become a test subject. A kind old shaman, apparently of Native American descent. Laughing Bull lives on Mars, and figures prominently in a number of Cowboy Bebop sessions. Spike goes to Laughing Bull for advice in Session 1 while looking for bounty head Asimov; in &quot;The Real Folk Blues, Part 2&quot;, Jet goes to him for information on Spike&#039;s whereabouts. Laughing Bull also succors Spike after his fight with Vincent in Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. Laughing Bull has a son, to whom he occasionally imparts his wisdom. While not as abrasive as his friend Bernard Monsha, Bate enjoys watching his friend toy with the young Gundam pilot Kou Uraki, though he doesn't take an active role in his friend's plots & schemes.﻿

Guld Goa Bowman, commonly called Goa or Guld by his friends and colleagues is one of the protagonists of the Macross Plus OVA and its compilation movie. He pilots the YF-21. Before becoming a pilot he went to high school with Isamu Alva Dyson and Myung Fang Lone, and all three of them were close friends. He became incredibly violent after discovering that something had happened between Isamu and Myung.

He is an experienced pilot of Zentradi descent and is well disciplined in comparison to his carefree former classmate and now rival pilot; Isamu Alva Dyson. Their mutual frustration with one another is made more difficult by their former friendship, both with each other and their common love interest; Myung Fang Lone.
