Taniguchi is a loud high school student enrolled at North High who is good friends with both [Kunikida](https://anilist.co/character/258/Kunikida) and [Kyon](https://anilist.co/character/252/Kyon).

Taniguchi is comically lascivious; giving a "score" of attractiveness to each first-year girl based upon his tastes and preferences. He remembers the full names of everyone receiving an &#039;A&#039; rank, with Nagato receiving an A-. As for Mikuru, her mere presence elicits an altered state of adoration for Taniguchi and Kunikida, especially when she was in her soba-serving costume. He also knew Haruhi from back in junior high, and was Kyon&#039;s original source of information on Haruhi before he started conversing with her. It is hinted that he may have been the person that dated Haruhi for the shortest amount of time.

A 6th year student in the beginning of the series, Morita occupies room 203, his floormates being Takemoto and Hasegawa. Morita is unable to graduate, as he can never wake up on time to go to classes. This is mainly due to the work that he does, which forces him to go missing for periods of time. What he does for work though remains a mystery. When Morita comes back from his mysterious job, he immediately falls asleep for at least 48 hours, due to the amount of work he does. He also returns with a large sum of money in his back-pocket and brings a food item to share with his flat mates. Although the flat mates believe he does it to mock them, such as when he brings a bag of croquettes instead of meat, Morita does care deeply for his friends such as Takemoto.  Morita is a very mysterious person. He does many random, crazy things for his personal enjoyment, such as creating a twister game with too many colors, which resulted in horrific pain for him and Takemoto. Morita is a perceptive individual, but tactless and often states the truth, such as how Mayama secretly stalks Rika outside her apartment, when nobody wants to hear it. He also expresses his love for Hagu in weird and quirky ways, such as forcing Hagu to dress up as a mouse. Morita's obsession with Hagu stems from a fondness of cute things during his childhood, such as causing a cat to become neurotic after cuddling it too much.    

~!As a result of Morita's obsession Hagu becomes afraid of him and tries to avoid him but eventually falls in love with him later on. Despite the way Morita treats Hagu he sincerely cares for Hagu, getting her a pair of expensive mules and creating a broach with a dove on it, both of which was in her scrapbook of things she wanted.  Later in the series, Morita leaves for America for work without saying anything to his friends. He eventually returns in about a year's time, and Morita's friends finally discover what he does for his work, being awarded best CGI in the Mocademy Awards (a spoof of the Academy Awards) for the movie 'Space Titanic', after studying with acclaimed director Peter Lucas. Morita's room, which no one had ever been inside, had also been discovered after his departure, and contained a lot of high tech equipment.  After returning from America, Morita finally manages to graduate from his course in his 8th year handing his work in on the very last day. Despite graduating and becoming rich from his work in America, Morita applies for a Japanese Arts course believing he hasn't studied for long enough, even though he's been there for 8 years. He re-enters the art school as a 3rd grade student, having already completed half the subjects. !~

Clovis la Britannia is the Third Prince of the Britannian Imperial Family and former Viceroy of Area 11. He is timid and narcissistic, as well as unaccustomed to failure. He and Lelouch would often play chess during their childhood; despite consistently losing, Clovis viewed Lelouch as a friendly rival, and his fond memories of the time spent at the Imperial Villa led him to model the garden on top of the government complex after it. He is a talented artist and designer, having planned the whole Clovis Amusement Park and left a large amount of artwork behind.

Another one of Yugi's friends. Honda used to bully Yugi with Jounouchi. He never understood Yugi&#039;s fashination with games but he was able to understand the feelings of others. Honda always helps Jounouchi or Yugi when they are in need. He&#039;s a friend to the end.

Gunter is a teacher and swordsman who adores Yuri. Günter is a skilled swordsman and magician but has retired to teach Yuri about Shin Makoku and his future duties as the Maoh. Gunter once stated that he was the one who taught Conrad to "become His Majesty's sword and shield" indicating that perhaps Gunter was once Conrad's teacher. When Günter accidentally travels to Earth, he becomes a model in New York City for a brief period of time so that he can earn money to find Yuri. He is a very whimsical person and poetic in his thoughts. Günter is another test subject of Anissina.  Günter, along with the three brothers, helps Yuri run the country. He is Yuri's adviser and mentor, teaching Yuri various aspects of Shin Makoku. He usually spends his time doing numerous duties for Yuri and Shin Makoku.  

Günter's personality is usually that of good nature, but when he puts on his serious face he can be awe-inspiring. He has an extremely strong attachment to Yuri and tends to pine when Yuri has been gone from the Shin Makoku for a considerable amount of time. He is very popular among females and males because of his good looks.  Günter's political views make a radical change due to Yuri's influence. Günter's only family seems to be his adopted daughter Gisela.

Shiraishi Minoru serves as Akira's co-host on the Lucky Channel. Starting as a shy and frightened host, by each episode he gains more confidence and eventually becomes very energetic and starts to overshadow Akira, which easily annoys her.  He also is seen in a few episodes within Konata and friends' classes. The character is based off of the actual voice actor, Shiraishi Minoru, who sings anime themes and other songs at the end of many Lucky Star episodes. Minoru is always afraid of being fired.

Faust is a descendant of the original Faustus, a man who made a pact with the devil. In Shaman King, Faust the eighth was a lonely boy who had only one friend, named [Eliza](https://anilist.co/character/18342/Eliza). But Eliza suffered from a deadly disease that no cure, so Faust devoted his life to find one and evetually did it. He became a doctor, saved Eliza's life and married her. They lived together in their clinic in Germany until one night a burglar broke in and shot Eliza dead.  Broken Faust turned to his ancestor's black arts, necromancy, and now fights in order to become the Shaman King and bring Eliza back to life. His spirit is Eliza herself, and his medium is her skeleton, which is always tied to Faust's arm in a chain.

Shino Aburame is character who has a fascination with bugs; most of his spare time is spent watching bugs, he often makes analogies to bugs when talking. In addition to liking bugs, Shino is characterized by his emotionless, solitary, and collected way of doing things. He speaks very bluntly and never allows emotion to interfere with his judgment, sometimes offending people in doing so. Despite his odd personality and occasionally arguing with Kiba, Shino has a very strong sense of connection with his teammates and allies.  Shino alongside Hinata Hyuga and Kiba Inuzuka is in team 8 which is led by Kurenai Yuhi.  In battle, Shino is able to take great use of his intelligence, being able to use his analytical and observational skills to make shrewd judgments with pinpoint reasoning. As a member of the Aburame clan, Shino was infused at birth with a special breed of insects that feed on chakra. In return for becoming a living hive, the insects attack opponents, usually while he distracts them, and carry out other tasks as he commands. Shino has found a number of uses for these bugs, and as such has devised a number of jutsu that utilize them for varying purposes, such as creating copies of himself or using bugs for defensive purposes.

Very little is known about Oriya. He owns Kou Kaku Rou, an elegant traditional restaurant that is secretly a brothel for the rich and powerful. This, he inherited from his family, who has held Kou Kaku Rou for many generations (it is described in the manga as one of the oldest, if not the oldest restaurant in Kyoto). He is a friend of Muraki's from college, and Muraki's only known friend. He wears a very distinctive and ornate kimono. He is often seen smoking a traditional Japanese kiseru pipe and practicing kendo. He is an expert with the katana. He has very strong feelings toward Muraki, though it is unclear whether his feelings are specifically romantic or not. In the most recent continuation of the series, he is shown to be hosting and caring for Ukyou, Muraki's childhood sweetheart.        Though he is usually seen as a neutral or sympathetic figure in the story, he is also an active collaborator of Muraki's. He has helped Muraki cover up his murders through his network of high-ranking officials, and in return, Muraki has disposed of troublesome elements among the women of his brothel.

Issac Dian forms one half of the bumbling thief couple, who seem to cross into everybody's story in one way or another. He's in love with [Miria](https://anilist.co/character/3796/), and they've robbed everything and anything, from doors to the entire Genoard household. He's completely clueless, super eccentric and happy-go-lucky to the point you can't stop laughing from his bold and sometimes completely weird actions.

No.4 of the Muto-assassination team. Maruyama is a bishounen that is usually under the disguise of a fat, chubby ball, until Tokiko cut open the disguise with her valkyrie skirt. He was able to shrink Tokiko to 34CM in their first battle, then shrink her to nothing in their second battle, only to find Tokiko still has 4CM remaining, and went into his stomach. He was defeated as his guts were ripped out by Valkyrie skirt. His special ability is that he can draw a circle without using a compass. In the anime, he, Inukai, Chitose, Busujima and Shusui were sent to fight Victor, but lost against Victor&#039;s Buso renkin, Fatal Attraction, and was forced to reteat. A male friend of Takeya's&mdash;though apart from being in the same class, the two have little in common. The #1 member of the &quot;DearS Love Club&quot;, Oihiko is extremely interested in DearS, particularly female ones; he harbors an especially deep infatuation with Ren. Though goofy and more than a little shallow, at heart he remains a decent young man.

Norb is a powerful Vodarac priest. He can be considered the main influence towards Holland leaving the SOF after Norb explains to him what Dewey is trying to do and the consequences it entailed for the planet and humanity. Despite his occupation as a priest, Norb smokes, eats unhealthy junk food (such as pizza and chips), and barely reflects any religious point of view even when asked to do so.

He is a high school student having difficulty expressing his love for his childhood friend, Chiharu Nitta. Their relationship has encountered turbulence. Michael is an American who becomes a transfer student to Toryo High School. He learned how to speak fluent Japanese by watching ninja and samurai movies as he grew up. At first, he is a joy to watch. He is fascinated with anything Japanese and he loves the rotating sushi bar. When he first arrives in Japan, he is greeted in a very warm way by Miki who thinks that it is Yuu at the door (Michael is blonde with blue eyes, after all). Michael's father and Youji are business associates so Youji invites Michael to stay with them and go to school in Japan. That means that Michael is living with Miki and Yuu! This really throws Miki off.     As the series progresses, it becomes obvious that Michael has fallen big time for Miki and he is completely oblivious to Miki and Yuu's relationship until episode 53 when he catches Miki and Yuu kissing. All this time he thought that they had the typical step-brother/sister thing going on (there is no such thing as step-siblings in Japan). After Yuu goes to America to school, Michael finds a new rival in Kei. Michael's jealousy becomes doubled when he realizes that Kei has a hand up on him with his music. He knows that Miki likes to listen to it.     Michael really becomes pushy when he gets a call from Brian, his brother, who  tells him that right after Yuu got to America, he made a new girlfriend. This isn't true but Brian really believes that it is. Michael is so mad at Yuu for betraying Miki that he barges into her room and kisses her very soundly on the lips. He apologizes and tells her why he did it. He also asks her to see him as a man, not a brother.     Michael starts to think more as the series progresses but it is obvious that Miki will always think of him as a younger brother, nothing more. After he loses to Kei, he tries to make Miki and Kei stay together when Yuu comes home. In episode 70, Michael tells Kei that if he loses Miki to Yuu that he will know how he (Michael) feels. He tells Kei to do his best.     In the last episode, which takes place after Yuu and Miki's graduation, Miki comments that Michael seems much more grown-up.

Yajirou Kojima is a swordsman also known as the "Rearguard Tiger," who battles in an attempt to bring about world unity. A former rebel, he was working as a mercenary until he met Rushuna. Although Yajirou disdains the use of firearms, he is skilled enough to parry bullets with his sword as well as slice massive cannon shells in two. Yajirou hates guns because he believes that gunners see the weight of a person's life in how hard it is to pull the trigger. However he later states that he does not see Rushuna in the same light as he does other gunners. The route that he, Rushuna, and Mikan take towards Tento's capital by crossing Mt. Charanbo and then White Wizard Lake retraces the same route that he followed when he was with the rebel army that attempted to invade the capital a year and a half ago and is thus memory-laden for him. Rushuna calls him "Yatchan", an informal name he is initially irritated with, but grows to accept. He loves Rushuna.  In the manga, he belonged to a branch family of the Kojima clan, This clan was led by Midare Kojima and his sister, Suguna. Zaku Abumi was a Genin-level ninja from Otogakure. He was part of the team that took the Chunin exam in order to assassinate Sasuke Uchiha. Like many Sound ninja, he has been physically altered with unnatural enhancements that enhance his abilities; in his case, he was fitted with hollow air tubes that extend through his arms and open through his hands, allowing him to propel a combination of air pressure and sound in various ratios, controlled by his chakra. He was an orphan living on the streets who hustled by stealing for a living, and was almost always beaten for it. Orochimaru had told him he had potential and liked the strength in his eyes. He refuses to give up, even at the cost of his own life.

Samuel Brent Oscar Riegel is a voice actor, writer and director who appears in many television cartoons, anime, and video games. He began as a child actor in theater in Virginia, and moved to New York City to perform in Broadway and off-Broadway shows. In 1994, he graduated from the Professional Children's School on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. After graduating from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, he returned to New York to begin his voice acting career. He now resides in Los Angeles, CA.  

He is the older brother of [Eden Riegel ](https://anilist.co/staff/107937/Eden-Riegel) and the younger brother of Tatiana Riegel.  He was in New York City on September 11, 2001, and he recorded the attacks on the World Trade Center with his video camera.
