Shugo Kunisaki is a player who wins a special chibi version of Kite&#039;s avatar in a contest developed by Aura. He originally believes himself to have outgrown video games, but after winning the character along with his sister, Rena, who won a version of BlackRose&#039;s avatar, the two join the game. He lacks planning skills and is incapable of turning down the requests of others. He is given a version of Kite&#039;s Twilight Bracelet by Aura that does not harm humans. Aura&#039;s plan is to motivate Shugo by allowing him to be a hero, after meeting and talking to him using another player&#039;s character in the past.

Shusui is Ouka's twin brother. He is the younger of the twins. He and his sister are not actually homunuculi. He becomes an Alchemy Warrior as well after LXE falls. He's smart, the best at Kendo at Ginsei High, along with being the vice president of the Student Council, and as Kazuki and the others state, No. 1 even in terms of genital size. In the anime, he was recruited by Chitose to be a part of the team dispatched to take out Victor, however, they were defeated and forced to retreat.

Is the main character of the series. Ikkou is able to release a powerful but uncontrollable power when confronted with his earthly desires. Each time, the aftermath of his awakening,he will bear a face of lust,and will &quot;attack&quot; Chitose,who always respond with attacks that knock him out. He is always gutless when it comes to the girls he lives with. Especially with the case of Chitose. He is what would be figuratively called a doormat even up to the end of the second season. In some episodes he is struck by the other characters more than a half dozen times before the halfway part of an episode. Isami Fujiwara is Haruka's friend in the present timespace. He lives with his brother and grandmother, as their parents both died. He appears to be tough on the outside but has a fear for ghosts, and he is constantly nagging Yuu about being a &quot;mama's boy&quot; and never doing anything but study and go to cram school. Yū and Isami are very close, with Yū's angsty, doubting nature offset by Isami's laid-back personality.    Isami is also friends with Ai, who has a hidden crush on him. Isami doesn't seem interested at first, since he seems to prefer older women like his teacher. However, there are some hints that he may be growing interested in Ai by the end.    In one future timespace, Isami becomes a delinquent after his grandmother dies and is separated from his brother. After a fight with another gang, he ends up losing an eye while trying to protect his friends, who consequently abandon him. With not much to live for, he was about to put a knife in the guy who slashed his eye, before the present timespace's Yū came along and told him he was the only one who could save Ai from killing herself. Fujita is a magic user residing in the Magic user&rsquo;s domain, working for a company headed by En: a powerful magic user. Fujita isn&rsquo;t a very good magic user at all, himself-- the only times he manages to produce any magical smoke at all are times when he or someone he cares about are in a bit of a bind. For example, when in the Hole (the domain of non-users,) he and a friend of his are stopped by Caiman, a nonuser who is mysteriously unaffected by magic due to his mutations. His friend is killed by Caiman, and in a scurry to get away with his own life he uses his smoke to open a door between the realms-- something that takes a fair bit of skill to do, as remarked by several characters later on.    Wanting to avenge his comrade, Fujita sets out to return to Hole heavily armed but is stopped by a messenger of En, who passes on the message that he&rsquo;s been assigned to find the user who transformed Caiman into a saurian. A bit of research reveals a reptilian transformation specialist-- Ebisu. Fujita recalls passing her while in the Hole with his friend-- and so, goes to find her before Caiman can kill her, too. Fujita&rsquo;s timing is just right, and so he manages to save Ebisu just as she&rsquo;s stuck in the jaws of Caiman, her fingers broken clean off after she attempts to use her smoke on him. Unfortunately, her life comes at the price of her sanity and her face-- En assigns one of the higher-ups, Noi, to heal Ebisu&rsquo;s face and fingers. Although physically in one piece once again, Ebisu is still traumatized by the incident, her personality reverted back to that of a small child and memory obliterated.    Noi and Shin are sent to exterminate Caiman-- Fujita tagging along partially because he wants revenge, partially to watch after Ebisu, of whose memory everyone is waiting on to return.

A purple tapir and Kuromi's sidekick with the ability to fly. He, in some episodes, appears to have a crush on Kuromi, and is often victim to Kuromi's anger. Kuromi is frequently very physically abusive to him, but regardless, she truly does love him, although despite the fact that they're both animals, they have a master-pet relationship.    Like Kuromi, Baku has a journal where he writes down his moments with her. Hiiragi burns it in the middle of the first season, but he somehow retrieves it in the second season when they break out of jail.    His birthday is confirmed to be on February 29. His name is a bit of a pun: in Japanese, baku could mean a tapir or a dream-eating creature of Japanese mythology. In one episode he has a crush on Uta. He does appear to have a conscience. On one occasion, he was seen delivering newspapers and giving rides to children. Baku has the ability to sniff out Black Notes, and whenever a new one is obtained, Kuromi skewers it with a magical stick and Baku eats it for safekeeping. Baku first met Kuromi at a beach in Mari Land. Baku usually says "Zona" at the end of his sentences, a lot like a catchphrase which is common of anime characters.

Kida seems to know many of the residents of Ikebukuro and he functions as a guide to Mikado.  He enjoys flirting with older girls and women although his passes usually aren't taken very well.

He is the son of Debbie Rothstein and the late [Bob Papenbrook](https://anilist.co/staff/96008/), both of whom are also voice actors, and he is married to Samantha Papenbrook; they have a daughter named Ella Papenbrook, born on September 5, 2015.
