She trains Yusuke in the Spirit Light Wave Fist (Reikō Hadō Ken) aka the Spirit Wave in the English dub and coaches him to the extreme. Though she may appears nasty towards Yusuke and the others, she truly cares about all of them, and tries to lead them down the right road.  Genkai is an elderly martial arts expert who lives alone in a very large temple. She first appears during Yusuke's second case as he infiltrates a tournament she is holding to find a successor to her techniques in search of the demon Rando. Genkai is a legendary reiki master, known both in the human and demon realms. Yusuke ends up winning the tournament, defeating Rando in the process, and is taken on as a student by Genkai.  ~!When she was 50 years younger, Genkai and the younger Toguro brother were lovers and teammates in an earlier Dark Tournament. After winning, Toguro decides to become a demon, while Genkai returns to the human world, creating a split in their relationship. She enters the next Dark Tournament with Yusuke, disguising herself as the "Masked Fighter" in order to once again face Toguro. Her signature technique is the Spirit Wave, an outpouring of spirit energy from the whole body which can be directed through several different variations. This makes her technique effective in healing and purification, in addition to combat. A side effect of using this power is a shifting of the body's cells which leads to a temporary reversion to the form in which the wielder was at their most powerful in life. In Genkai's case, it allowed her to briefly regain her youth.!~  Although Genkai is of advanced age and her physical and spiritual strength had gone down, she is still a fighter to be respected and feared. Even after she gave up most of her power to Yusuke, she still is capable of using some Reiki notably during the Chapter Black saga.

A shrine maiden and sister of Kikyo who protected the village for fifty years after her sister's death. She is the first to recognize Kagome as the reincarnation of her sister. She often shares advice and knowledge about demons and other spiritual anomalies with InuYasha's group, and is well-respected and held in high regards by Kagome, Sango, Shippō, Miroku, and even InuYasha himself sometimes. Not surprisingly considering his temperament, InuYasha is easily annoyed with her, though will listen to her when necessary. A common misconception is that she lost her right eye during the time InuYasha attacked the village to capture the sacred jewel. In the two-part anime flashback episodes "The Tragic Love Song of Destiny" it is revealed that she loses her eye during a yokai attack. Her sister Kikyo, coming to the realization that her feelings for InuYasha have lessened her spiritual powers, is unable to properly protect Kaede during the attack, resulting in the loss of her eye. Magno Vivian is the commander of the pirates and everyone addresses her &#039;Boss&#039;. She is one of the first-generation colonists from Earth that was onboard the Ikazuchi colony ship, hoping to populate other planets around the galaxy. She is over a hundred years old and is filled to the brim with knowledge and wisdom, most of which reflects the same kind of wisdom that can be applied to both genders, before their separation into Mejare and Taraak. She often hands out pieces of advices and directs the crew in their duties.    Also, though not directly stated, she may be Hibiki Tokai&#039;s sister. This can be derived from the picture she has of herself when on the colonization ship holding the infant Hibiki. However, it can be argued that this may not be true, as stated by Hibiki&#039;s &quot;grandfather&quot; (in reality, he is Hibiki&#039;s uncle) during a conversion near the end of the second season, that he remembers Magno always coming to play with the infant Hibiki on the colony ship. As such, she may merely be an age-old friend of his, during her days as a youth. Throughout the series, Magno becomes a sort of mother figure to Bart, as evidenced by their conversations and what took place on the diseased planet.

Ogen, leader of the Iga clan and Ninjutsu master loses the love of her life to suspicion and lies. As a young girl, she falsely accuses Danjo of betraying her, and is left to live a lonely lifetime of regret.    Even in her old age, Ogen is still bent on revenge. If it were up to her, she&#039;d see to it that every last Kouga member was obliterated, even Danjo. When the Iga and Kouga are permitted to do battle to determine the third Tokugawa Shogun heir, Ogen enjoys her last moments with her lover before the countdown to one begins. Tusukuru is Eruruu&#039;s and Aruruu&#039;s grandmother and village elder, the leader of the village. She is a very kind person and is respected by everyone in the village and even some out of it. Her accidental death sparks a battle between Yamayura village and the local lord, Sasante, eventually leading to a full scale rebellion. It appears that Tusukuru spent some time among the Onkamiyamukai, as both Urutoriy and her father, the high priest, were personally acquainted with her.

Kikuko is a Ghost-type Trainer and the third and oldest member of the Indigo Elite Four.

Kikuko is confident in battle and always looks forward to challenging a strong Trainer. In her match against Satoshi, she bade her time to observe Pikachu's movements before having her Gangar attack. Over time, she has developed an array of strategies to counter an opponent.

Zirconia appears as an ugly, insectlike old woman with lavender skin. Secondary to Queen Nehellenia, she controls the Amazoness Quartet and the Amazon Trio. Her name is derived from the mineral zirconium dioxide, which is often called zirconia. She first appears in Episode 128 of the anime and Act 34 of the manga. In the English-language adaptation Zirconia&#039;s gender was changed from female to male.  In the anime, Zirconia looks the way Nehellenia would look if she were old, and thus she haunts the queen&#039;s dreams. Zirconia is the personification of Queen Nehellenia&#039;s nightmares, given form to lead the Dead Moon Circus to find Pegasus and carry out the Queen&#039;s revenge. She commands the Amazon Trio to go to earth and seek out those with beautiful dreams, who might have the Dream Mirror in which Pegasus is hiding. She uses Zircon, a flying eyeball that usually sits atop her staff, to gather images of those with beautiful dreams, which she gives to the Amazon Trio as their targets. She soon becomes impatient with the Amazon Trio, and allows the Amazoness Quartet to send lemures to kill them. She then sends the Amazoness Quartet to do what the Trio failed to accomplish.   In the manga, the Amazon Quartet calls her baa-san, meaning &quot;grandmother&quot; or &quot;old woman,&quot; and she acts as a mediator between them and Nehellenia. Like the other members of the Dead Moon Circus, she doesn&#039;t like light, and feels comfortable only in darkness. She speaks to Nehellenia through the mirror, complimenting her often. Little is known about her motivations, but the most important thing to her is to figure out how to make Nehellenia&#039;s plans work. Her first mission for the Quartet is to make sure that the circus is a success on Earth, and then taking over everything for the Dead Moon Circus, little by little. She tells them to proceed cautiously when dealing with the Senshi, and lets them know that she will not tolerate a failure. In order to conquer the Earth, she says, they must first destroy the Senshi by filling them with nightmares.

Tama's ancestor sealed The Forbidden Mushi into the Karibusa Family. The Mushi has since then been passed on to each member of the family in the form of a birthmark. The members with the birthmark contain the Forbidden Mushi sealed in them and are called Scribes. A mysterious, kindly Russian old lady who makes extravagant hats or hair ornaments for dukes and nobles. She knitted a dress for Nadja, and it is likely that she is the primary source of income for the &quot;Dandelion Troupe&quot;, along with donations.      Anna is a very mysterious character: she is sort of a grandmotherly figure for everyone in the Troupe, yet none of them are really sure just how old she is. Anna sews all the costumes for the Troupe, though it seems that Nadja and Kennosuke are the only ones who occasionally change costume) and she operates the phonograph mounted on the top of the car.      Anna has a side business of making fashionable hats for noblewomen, and occasionally the Dandelion car must detour so Anna can deliver a hat to a buyer. In fact, Nadja and Francis are able to really meet each other thanks to Anna delivering a hat for Francis' aunt Emma. Anna is a fortune teller; she know right away after she first sees Nadja that fate has adventures in store for her, and throughout the series she always seems to know when important things will happen to Nadja. After Kuniko confronts her about this fact and receives no explanation, she is forced to expel her grandmother from Duomo. As her name implies, she is an eight-hundred-year-old nun. She herself has the kessen-chu and has imparted these blood-worms to both Manji and Shizuma.   Yaobikuni finds Rin Asano at the graveyard where Rin's father is buried. After hearing her story, Yaobikuni urges Rin to find the toughest, strongest yojimbo of all, Manji. Yaobikuni is short in stature and has spiral tattoos on her face.

Taiitsukun helped Miaka find seven guardians of Suzaku by giving her scroll and mirror and told her the way to return to her world.

Rōba (ローバ) is a female character in the One Piece seventh movie and is also the main antagonist Ratchet&#039;s mother. She was found by the Straw Hat Pirates at the beginning of the movie closed in a chest. Monkey D. Luffy and his crew accept to bring her back home, in Karakuri Island, with the promise to have in return a legendary treasure hidden on the island. Despite being Ratchet&#039;s mother, she doesn&#039;t approve her son&#039;s plans to control the giant turtle and conquer the world, and often, during the movie, she tries to make him change his mind, with the only effect of being imprisoned in the castle&#039;s dungeon with the Straw Hats.
