Tenshinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball metaseries and the franchise equivalent created by Akira Toriyama. Trained by Muten-Rôshi's rival, the Crane hermit he starts out as an enemy of Son Goku, but soon makes peace and becomes an ally. He is usually accompanied by Chaozu, his training partner and best friend, whom he can communicate with telepathically.  At the time of his introduction, Tenshinhan is among the most powerful warriors in the series, matched only by Goku himself. Like most other characters, his relative strength quickly diminishes as the story progresses.  As is the case with a handful of other characters from the early chapters of Dragon Ball, Tenshinhan was inspired by a character from Journey to the West; his unique feature of having a third eye was derived from the Chinese god Erlang Shen. Mizuhara Makoto is scientifically gifted. In the series, he creates a machine in the science lab to be on display at the start of the school's cultural festival, but when his rival Jinnai sabotages it, it creates a portal to a alternative world called El Hazard, where he'll lots of incredible adventures... and new lovers.

Takamura is very hearty, rude and often behaves vulgarly. He is a loud arrogant boaster who tends to refer to himself as Ore-sama (a Japanese name suffix intended for people of great importance) and he rarely ever shows a shred of consideration towards other fighters after a loss.  Takamura was discovered on the streets by Coach Kamogawa Genji, and his speed, power, and technique are all high-level to the point that he is capable of handling both In Fighters and Out Boxers without too much trouble. Unlike most characters in Hajime no Ippo, he has no special finishing blow, but every punch he has possesses killer destructive power. With the wild power to always force out any situation he claims will happen, he is a man who does everything he says he will.  As the one who got Ippo, Aoki and Kimura into boxing, he is well respected at the Kamogawa Gym. Even though he constantly looks down on and ridicules their achievements, his unrivalled strength and the few moments his true kindness leaks out prevent them from losing their respect for him. Takamura loves to pick on his fellow gym mates, with Aoki usually the first on his list. Although he tends to get more serious when hearing about or training for his next match, he still finds the time to play pranks on everyone and goof around.  The character for Taka (鷹) in his name means hawk, and as a result he is sometimes nicknamed The Japanese Hawk by announcers and spectators (most notably during his matches against Brian Hawk and David Eagle). He lives alone at the Ohta Inn apartment complex, and his room is littered with junk, old food, pornography, and even his boxing belts. His pompadour hairstyle is his trademark. 

As The Gatchaman, Ken is the showman--the super spy, martial artist and ninja. He's quick and charismatic, and don't let those big blue eyes fool you--he's a hell-raiser who constantly takes foolish risks. He is amazingly inept at romance, either too heavy-handed or totally ignorant of the girl's feelings. He might do this because he feels a romantic relationship would interfere with his duty... or maybe he's just dense. Ken seems happiest when he's up in the air, flying alone in his little "Cessna" or testing some new flying machine. He spends most of his social time at the Snack Jun, running up a tab he never gets around to paying.  Ken's goals are noble enough--to restore peace to the world--though for a short time, he fights to avenge his father's death. The burden of leadership lies heavy on his shoulders, especially during the final escalation of events at the end of the series.  Cover Occupation: Test pilot. Also works part time delivering airmail to remote locations and doing other odd jobs which require the use of a small plane. Lives in a small shack beside a private airstrip, on a few acres of land willed to him by his father.

Alford is a skilled swordsman who crossed paths with Yuri in the early seasons of Kyo Kara Maoh.   Alford has long, brown hair, parted down the middle, with his bangs cut short and the rest reaching past his shoulders. He wears a blue undershirt which matches his eyes, and a red vest with a white trim.   Alford was mislead for years to believe that Demons were evil, and he trained extensively in order to destroy them. However, after meeting Yuri, he realizes that he was wrong and even managed to befriend them.   Alford is confronted by Velma who convinces him to join her on their quest to slay a dragon. He agrees, and when he meets Yuri and Conrad in the forest, they cross swords. Conrad is revealed to have known Alford's father and it manages to break his ideals. One of the men-at-arms of Covenant Castle, Dorcas (Dakauscas) sacrificed his hair for one of G&uuml;nter's schemes but ultimately remains a loyal subject - even as he's often the source of comic relief. Dorcas often becomes emotional over good food.    Dorcas travels to Bandarbine Island with G&uuml;nter to help Morgif regain its original form.

Kai is another of the White Base crew members. Unlike many of his teammates, Kai would rather runs away from battle. He's mostly a coward but likes to flirt with the ladies. Eventually he sums up the courage to become White Base's Guncannon pilot.

Eledore hates the fact he became a soldier, he'd rather listen to and make music than continue fighting in the war. 

He is the team's radar and sonar technician. He's very good at remembering sounds and patterns and can tell if an approaching mobile suit is either friendly or enemy.

A Dragon Knight of Middle Eastern descent, he resembles a tall, skinny man with bulging purple eyes, dark lips, and a long point of blond hair that hangs over his face. Al, as he was originally named, witnessed his sister Sara die from traumatic injuries caused by stepping on a mine while he was a child. The incident left him deeply scarred, becoming bizarrely homicidal and violent overtime.        Though Atori seems to be fighting against the cause of the other Dragon Knights, he actually perfers using entirely different, yet extreme methods to ensure the job is done. After betraying the Dragon Knights in an effort to destroy the Dragon Torque, he cuts his pipeline and becomes trapped in Haruka's timespace. When Atori intervenes in Karasu and Fukurou's fight, he loses his memory and becomes completely innocent and seemingly harmless. When he first meets Miho, Atori believe she is his little sister. This initially frightens Miho; when she denies that she is Sara, Atori lapses into confusion. Deprived of his prior hatred, he even admonishes his former enemy, the fatally injured Karasu, for sleeping when &quot;the little girl is crying,&quot; and defends all of them from Kosagi's attacks. Miho and Atori develop a very deep bond, which seems to influence his personality once he regains his memories, as he fights to protect the children in Haruka's timespace. Ultimately, Atori dies whilst trying to protect Haruka's friends in Haruka's timespace during the second Shangri'la raid.        Atori's spin weapon seems to be based in lightning attacks. He can charge and release large blasts. In the final battle, Atori assumes the form of large quantum beast to fight the invaders from Shangri'la; blocking the circle that allows Shangri-la ships to enter our timespace, and apparently dies when the circle collapses on itself. Ryu&#039;s best friend and the only son of the extremely rich Masters family. He lives in San Francisco with his parents in a very large mansion (it takes 20 minutes to drive from the front yard to the main house). He too spends a lot of time training as well, but not as much as Ryu. Ken also rides a motorcycle. His mother is Japanese. Ken also learns to use the power of Hadou later on while being held captive by Shadowlaw. Only Ryu knows the Hadoken, while both he and Ken know the Shoryuken. Ken later upgrades the Shoryuken to the Hadou Shoryuken, and then shortens it to the Hadou Shoryu. The primary male character, he became Pai's Wu and companion when a rampaging Takuhi, Pai's demon friend, fatally wounded him. Before he could die, Pai merged his soul with her own, transforming him into a Wu, which in turn made him immortal as long as Pai lives. A fourteen-year-old boy in the city where Kiki settles. He is obsessed with aviation, is a member of a club building a human-powered aircraft, and is at first intrigued only by Kiki's ability to fly. He later becomes her friend, although it is obvious that she awes him. (It is not clear, at least to an English-speaker, whether &quot;Kopoli&quot; is intended as a given name or family name. &quot;Tombo&quot;, according to the novel, is a nickname, Japanese for &quot;dragonfly&quot;.)

A navigator in the Yamato crew and a friend of Kodai. 

Hakkaku is a cooking ninja from the Land of Lightning. He and Teuchi Ichiraku attended the same cooking academy. Hakkaku, later on, became a successful cooking ninja who made delicious food for the ninja to eat while on missions.  However, Hakkaku&#039;s food was so good, that ninja started eating too much of his food and got fat, preventing them from performing well on missions. 

Thus, Hakkaku hoped to obtain Teuchi Ichiraku&#039;s &quot;Phantom&quot; recipe, hoping that the recipe would make his food both delicious and nutritious.  The &quot;Phantom&quot; recipe, in truth, was nothing more than a way to remove the bitter taste from ramen broth.
