Belldandy is unflinchingly kind, patient, and warm, not only to Keiichi but to everyone, without exception. However, this does not mean that she is to be taken lightly; Belldandy is licensed as a goddess first-class, unlimited, and as such is highly skilled. Her power is so great, in fact, that she is required to wear a special earring on her left ear which constantly seals the full brunt of her magical strength. The only time at which she has ever revealed her true strength is during the Lord of Terror arc. At the end of this arc, Belldandy completely reconstructed their home from rubble, mentioning that doing so only took one ten-millionth of her power.

Belldandy's capacities and talents are diverse, whether magical or worldly. Not only can she change the appearance of her clothing and levitate (and, by extension, fly) as all full-fledged goddesses are expected to, but she can also teleport through mirrors, speak to and understand animals, "see" people's emotions as auras, heal minor wounds by speeding metabolism, and "speak" to machines. Furthermore, she is a superb cook, and her singing skills are held to be the best in the heavens. She is also incapable of getting drunk on alcoholic drinks, but instead gets drunk with soda (it has to be noted, however, that she's a complete lightweight in this regard. One sip is enough to send her in a drunken rampage—although given her personality, "rampage" takes an entirely different, but no less destructive, meaning). In addition, she is also the top broom racer in heaven, the only one that could rival her is Welsper from hell or Hild the Daimakaichou herself.

Belldandy's angel is Holy Bell (Bless餠Bell in some versions of the English manga); her elemental attribute is wind. Like all angels, Holy Bell augments Belldandy's magical powers when called upon, and like all angels, she also reflects her master's current state. For example, when Belldandy falls unconscious after being infected with a virus (in the movie), Holy Bell emerges comatose and covered with crystals that represent the virus.

Belldandy does not appear to play a significant role in maintaining Yggdrasil. Rather, she works at the Goddess Relief Agency which deals with granting wishes (forming contracts) with humans, similar to Peorth's work at the Earth Assistance Agency.

A timid young girl who ends up becoming Tetsuo&#039;s companion and Akira&#039;s babysitter.     ~!In the manga, Kaori is introduced after Neo-Tokyo is destroyed by Akira when she tries to get food for her crippled father. After she&#039;s discovered that she isn&#039;t a member of The Great Tokyo Empire, she&#039;s denied food and later on recruited by Tetsuo&#039;s aide with three other girls to serve as Tetsuo&#039;s playmates.     Tetsuo gives each of the girls the government-issued drug, and mistaking it for a medicine, Kaori instead saves it for her sick father; which ends up saving her from sharing the fate of the others girls whom end up being killed by the strong effect of the drug.    Her caring and innocent nature earns her Tetsuo&#039;s trust and genuine affection, and she becomes the person to whom he turns for comfort, especially whenever he suffers the strain of the power evolving within him. After Tetsuo begins to mutate and he no longer able to control his powers, his aides plan to assassinate him; hearing of that Kaori takes off to warn him, but gets shot by them.    When Tetsuo finds her dying body, he enters a battle with the American army, then with Kaneda. Later on he attempts to revive her, but fails. He then carries her dead body to Akira&#039;s cryogenic chamber and she was last seen by Kei when she takes cover inside it after Tetsuo&#039;s body goes through another mutation.!~ 

Nadja Applefield is a sunny, charming girl, with a talent for dancing and making friends wherever she goes. Even though she is very young, she shoulders responsibility quite well, often taking care of the children younger than her at the orphanage. On the other hand she is impulsive to the point of foolhardiness and extremely trusting, which leads others to take easy advantage of her and even abuse her thoroughly, if the right buttons are pressed. Her biggest dream is to someday be reunited with her mother.  Nadja was given to Miss Applefield to raise when she was a baby, her only possession at the time being an elaborated heart-shaped brooch.

Lilica isn't the only one good with her hands. Nanvel (an American) has an obsession for invention. And she can whip out just about anything for you, although sometimes she just doesn't know when to stop. Kyouko is the manager of the apartment. She lives in the kanrinin's (managers) room of Ikkoku-kan. She has recently recovered from her husband's death​ and is trying to figure out her life, between keeping the memory of Souichirou-san alive and her own feelings for other people. Her dog is named Souichirou-san after her late husband. She is still on the Otonashi family register, but her parents want her to get off and come home or remarry. However, she decides that she would rather work for Grandfather Otonashi, who owns Ikkoku-kan.  

A 13-15-year old girl who is on a quest to find the location of the ancient Monster called Phoenix. Holly uses a magical pendant to locate new Mystery Disks that contain monsters. Though she denies it at first, she learned that her father has become a vessel for the soul of the evil Moo. After the Phoenix and Moo destroyed each other, Holly went on a quest to find Moo&#039;s Mystery Disc to save her father from the very monster he had become. An elementary school boy who is sort of the 'leader' of the group. He has a good heart, and he truly cares for his friends and the monsters. His goal is to turn all of the evil monsters into good monsters again. Determined, optimistic, and hopeful, Genki is a real go-getter. Genki also directly fights enemy monsters by donning his rollerblades in combat. He is also surprisingly strong for a 10-year old, although whether this is due to his own innate strength or because he is in the game world (thereby having been subjected to some game mechanic) is not known.

Mariko is Nanako's classmate - she sits close to her - and is immediately attracted by her; she is a very beautiful girl who, not differently from the others, wants to become a member of the Sorority, and is very proud of her beauty. She wants Nanako to become her best and closest friend, and is very jealous of Nanako's friendship with Tomoko. For this reason, she'll try to undermine this relationship, telling some lies to Tomoko.

She passionately defends Nanako in several occasions, but sometimes her behaviour is excessive; her sometime strange attitude towards the others is mainly caused by her serious family problems (the relationship between her parents is in a crisis and because of her father, Mariko completely distrusts men...).

For some time, Mariko will risk losing forever Nanako's friendship. Mariko has very deep feelings for Kaoru, and in time she'll also become a friend of Tomoko's (only in the anime version).

Training with Genma at Jusenkyou in China, Ranma was thrown into a spring called Nyanniichuan. He emerged as a young girl, according with the spring's curse. When splashed with hot water, he changes back to a boy, but when splashed with cold to room temperature water, he turns into a girl again. As for our well-built 16-year-old hero/heroine, the martial arts is his life. He also possesses a rather large and easily wounded ego, believing his physical strength to be his only virtue. Whenever his pride is damaged, Ranma feels the need to rectify the situation, even when it's not necessarily in his best interest to do so.

A playful cat with powerful magic that Soul and Maka initially confused for a regular witch. Her life seems to largely revolve around doing whatever she deems fun at any given time, ranging from working as a hostess at Chupa♡Cabra's to aiding the DWMA's plans - however, she's also very sensitive to others' feelings, often comforting those in need out of kindness. 
She's also shown to enjoy long baths and exhibitionism, being very proud of her human form's body and often looking for opportunities to make others feel embarrassed. 

Her magic abilities are themed around pumpkins, and she also keeps a hat monster named Zwan (ズワン) as her familiar. Due to being a cat, she has nine lives, which is how she managed to survive her initial defeat at the hands of Soul and Maka. Additionally, her charms seem to transcend gender-altering magic, with her male form being able to seduce a succubus within the Book of Eibon.

Bulma is originally a secondary main character, but her role is quickly downplayed as the series continues, even though she does remain an important support character for most of the series. Bulma is a direct parody of the character Xuanzang from the Chinese novel Journey to the West. Even though Bulma's character parodies a monk, her Japanese name "Buruma" is the brand of a popular gym short worn by girls in Japan. Her re-adapted name Bulma is a direct take on the word "bloomers", which was a popular brand of women's underwear in the early 20th century.  Bulma is the second character to be introduced in the Dragon Ball series. In the early part of the story, she is the inventor of the Dragon Radar and is searching for the legendary Dragon Balls. Bulma was hoping to use the Dragon Balls to wish for the perfect boyfriend. While searching for a nearby Dragon Ball, she runs into Son Goku. It is at this time that she finds out Goku inherited one of the balls (the four-star ball) she is searching for from his Grandpa Gohan. Because of Goku's love for the ball and his belief that his Grandpa's spirit lives in the ball, Goku is not willing to give it up. Bulma then asks him to loan it for her in exchange of taking him in her travels. At that point, they team up to find the remainder of the balls and the adventure begins. In the later action-oriented episodes of the series, there is little room for a genius but Bulma continues to play a role as a secondary character, helping Goku and his friends with her gadgets, and having a rather rocky relationship with Yamcha.

Princess of the undersea kingdom and the youngest of six daughters. She is sweet and beautiful and is known for having the most beautiful voice in the kingdom. She is curious about the world and likes collecting items that come from the surface.

Yamato is a character in the anime and manga series Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02 and Digimon Adventure tri. He is a DigiDestined, partnered with Gabumon, and the bearer of the Crest of Friendship. He is the older brother of Takeru Takaishi.

Yamato starts as a secretive loner with a cool demeanor. He is mature, thoughtful and level-headed, and more likely to think things through than charge head-on. He is a deeply caring person who will do anything for a friend and is very protective of his loved ones. He is prone to second-guessing and self-deprecation when he cannot protect others—his self-worth hinges on his ability to be a good friend. Unlike Tai, who is more willing to look at the "big picture", sometimes to the detriment of his friends, Yamato always tries to focus on the good of his small circle of friends. As a teenager, he is more laid-back and easygoing and is more willing to support his friends risking themselves against enemy Digimon. Yamato's younger brother, Takeru Takaishi, is also one of the eight DigiDestined, but their parents are divorced and so they cannot spend much time together. He is very protective of Takeru and often acts harshly when Takeru is in trouble. After their adventures in the Digital World, their relationship becomes closer, and Matt trusts T.K. more, acknowledging his burgeoning independence. 

Mari Makinami Illustrious is an Evangelion pilot introduced into the franchise during the second installment of the four part theatrical remake series, Rebuild of Evangelion. 

Little is known about her as of yet except that she is the pilot of the Provisional Evangelion Unit-05 which differs from previous incarnations drastically featuring four mechanical "legs" that end in wheels and a lack of hands which have been replaced with a jousting lance and "claw". Because of it's unique design, Mari pilots her Eva wearing a helmet-like contraption and her plugsuit is equipped with several attachments that connect to tubing that apparently help her in moving the Evangelion. 

Mari is probably the most content with being an Eva pilot. She is also shown to be more informed than the other pilots, knowing various backdoors into both Nerv and the Eva operational programs and access Eva abilities known to only the higher-up staff of Nerv. Mari also revels in piloting Eva, usually singing over the comm-radio before excitedly engaging an Angel in combat.
