Ivan (イワン Iwan?) is the strong man of the Bio-Hybrid trio consisting of himself, Kouki and Nanami. Ivan seems to have difficulty with holding his inner thoughs, and tends to blurt out what he's thinking without realizing it. After meeting her for the first time, he developed a sort of attraction towards Yoshino Fujieda (calling her his "honey bun" at one point). After gaining his ability to assume his final form, this prompted him to engage Rosemon in a duel for Yoshino's love, only for him to be defeated at their hands. In the same episode this battle occured in, it was revealed that Ivan is something of a mercenary, and underwent his transformation into a Bio-Hybrid for the sake of money. It was learned that he also had many brothers and sisters in Russia, and that he was fighting for their sakes. In the last episode, Ivan was also rising his D.N.A. into the sky, together with his siblings.

First introduced as the beastmaster, he has the ability to control animals, although perhaps it should be better stated that he asks them for favors as he views animals as his friends. Once Volts disbanded, Shido left the Infinity Fortress to make a living outside, like Ginji. After reconciling with Ginji (whom he felt had betrayed Volts by leaving the Infinity Fortress), Shido took a cue from the Get Backers and started his own retrieval service - occasionally aided by Emishi. He is very independent and cold to others. Even though his powers allow him to control animals, he considers them friends, and tries to protect them as they do him. He eventually ends up living with Madoka Otowa, and he has an ongoing rivalry with Ban; he calls Ban "snake bastard" ("Snake-for-Brains" in the anime) while Ban's retort is often "saru-mashi" (monkey boy) or, due to to his stay with Madoka, "pimp".  In VOLTS, Shido is paired with Masaki Kurusu to protect the East Gates of the Infinity Fortress. Due to this, he knows a lot about Masaki and his followers, although it is doubted he knows about Masaki's true identity as a vassal for the Voodoo King. He remarks that Masaki has changed a lot from what he used to be , 'a man who will protect the weak.'

Hayate is one of Lisa&#039;s attendants. While he only makes a handful of appearances in the manga, Hayate in the anime forms a strong rivalry/friendship with Tomoka, and the two occasionally battle one another in friendly duels. Hayate is a very calm, loyal, and serious individual who will go to great lengths for his mistress, Lisa; this usually involves doing some sort of research or private investigating. Tomoka nicknames him &quot;ninja&quot; because of his stealthy ways, only revealing himself when attending to Lisa, or to attack.    (Wikipedia)

Van is the primary protagonist of the series. He is traveling the world, searching after a mysterious man with an artificial claw hand who killed his bride, Helena, on the day of their wedding. Van swore to kill this man to avenge Helena. His primary weapon is a shape-memory cloth held at his side like a pistol. This can change the configuration to a dueling sword or extend to grapple or embed itself into walls. Van can also spin it in place from its hilt at high speed to act as an efficient shield against projectiles.

Member of a trio of agents sent by Al Thamen to attack Sindria. While in the manga they appear in Toran to ambush Aladdin and his friends after they conquer Zagan, in the anime they break into Sindria after Judal destroys the magic barrier protecting it. Hihi's son. He's one of the tallest youkai staying at the Nura house. He is strong enough to stop a charging Takarabune with the help of Reira freezing the ground.

Natsume was born in a family of poor farmers. In his youth he used to work as a servant at a garden tree house, where he learned of his ability for the first time. He now serves Yukina. In public they have a formal relationship to keep up appearances, but otherwise they treat each other as equals, although Natsume tends to stay faithful to her.    He has a very honest and sincere personality, but has his klutzy moments at the time.    His ability works like a telephoto lens, and he is also able to see in the dark as if he has night vision. His power excells during moonlit nights.

The advisor of the Security Council and also the village's strongest telekinesis user. He had joined the Self Defense Force for economic reasons and consistently seek to avoid situations where he might be forced to take lives. In 1991, just the possibility of Japan sending warships to support U.S. operations against Iraq during the Gulf War was enough to cause him to resign from the academy--although his commitment to friendship with Kadomatsu and Oguri is such that he decided not to resign when his departure threatened to strain their friendship. His fear of taking human life backfires on him badly when he holds back punches against the U.S. naval aircraft attacking Mirai--and results in a serious damage to the Mirai and many casualties. In addition, he is extremely fearful of changing the past--and its possible consequences: from the minute the Mirai goes back to the past, he warns everyone of the dire danger of changing the past.

Mitabi Jarnach is a member of the Stationary Guard in Trost District.   ~!Mitabi first appears in Ch. 13 as the leader of one of the units assigned to protect Eren on his mission to plug the breach in Trost's Wall created by the Colossal Titan. When Eren loses control of his Titan form, Mitabi advises Ian to abort the mission and retreat to the safety of Wall Rose; however, Ian orders him to continue defending Eren.   In Ch. 14, Eren regains his senses and begins carrying a boulder to plug the breach in the Wall. Akihiro Hirata is a 3rd-year science and engineering student at Kansei University. Hirata is resident of room 104 at Chikuseiso. Nico is the tallest among the Aotake runners with a muscular statue. He also has a light beard and chin-length brown hair, which he wears in a low ponytail. He is often seen in sweats. His nickname, Nico-chan-senpai, comes from the abbreviation of the word nicotine due to his past cigarette addiction. It is also seen that the residents of Aotake will just draw a cigarette doodle in place of his name on the chore chart. In an effort to stop smoking, he took up wire sculpting, quickly accumulating dozens of little metal figurines. Yuki later capitalizes on this and sells them to help fund the track team. Prior to entering Kansei University, he ran Track during high school but quit due to his coach. As Akihiro picked up running again under Haiji's influence, he stopped smoking and began to make small metallic figures as a substitute.
