Another of Shin-chan's friends, he seems slow and expressionless, but is actually quite smart and has an interest in artistic, adult-oriented things. He often surprises his friends with his insight, though he speaks quite slowly. He always has a trail of snot running down his nose and perform various tricks with it.

A white, fluffy puppy Shin-chan found in a cardboard box early in the series. While a beloved member of the family, he is the subject of neglect thanks to his owner's forgetfulness and short attention span. He is a very intelligent dog, often presenting logic and intellect that surpasses his human owners. As his meals from the Noharas are at best inconsistent, he has developed a talent for foraging. Mutaito is Muten Roshi and the Tsuru-Sen&#039;nins&#039; teacher. He successfully seals Piccolo Daimaō in the Denshi Jar with his Mafūba technique, but in invoking the attack, he dies from the severe exhaustion of using the move. In the anime, Son Goku actually meets Mutaito and he&#039;s the first person in the series to teach Goku about controlling his &quot;ki&quot;. In fact, he&#039;s the first person to even mention the word, which soon becomes the explanation for the incredible energy techniques used throughout all of the Dragon Ball series.

Emperor Pilaf's ninja crony who apparently is a humanoid dog. He and Mai usually work together to carry out the work of their vertically-challenged and short tempered Emperor. He's one of the first villains in the Dragon Ball series, but perhaps villain is too strong a word for such a weakling. He's almost comic relief. Originally known as Soba in the manga, but was renamed due to match the anime name given after Akira Toriyama forgot he had named him previously. He appears along with Mai and Pilaf in two episodes of Dragonball GT.

Muten-Rôshi's friend and long-time companion, the good-natured lovable turtle lives in the Kame House with the elderly hermit. During Dragon Ball Z in the anime filler, he celebrates his 1,000th birthday in episode 117. He plays a relatively small part in the manga, but he has quite a few large roles in the anime. When he first appeared, he was in the wilderness, alone and lost. He was picking mushrooms when he got separated from his friends and had since been wandering around on land for over a year. Goku kindly takes on the task of returning him to the ocean, which he is very grateful for. It is Umigame who introduces Muten-Rôshi to Bulma and Son Goku. Umigame does not care much for Muten-Rôshi's perverse interests, enjoying honest interests himself. He was one of the first animal characters Goku meets and befriends, giving a small sense of irony that in the final Dragon Ball GT episode, he's one of the few characters that Goku bids farewell to after departing with Shenlong. In the anime, his power level is 0.001, as evident when Bulma tests Raditz's scouter in the Vegeta Saga.

Mr. Popo is an immortal djinn who lives with Kami in Kami's Lookout and is bound there eternally as the gardener and caretaker. He has served every other Kami (God/Guardian) of the Earth since the beginning of time. He was trained by the recent Kami himself and trained Goku for 3 years in order to fight Piccolo.

Tenshinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball metaseries and the franchise equivalent created by Akira Toriyama. Trained by Muten-Rôshi's rival, the Crane hermit he starts out as an enemy of Son Goku, but soon makes peace and becomes an ally. He is usually accompanied by Chaozu, his training partner and best friend, whom he can communicate with telepathically.  At the time of his introduction, Tenshinhan is among the most powerful warriors in the series, matched only by Goku himself. Like most other characters, his relative strength quickly diminishes as the story progresses.  As is the case with a handful of other characters from the early chapters of Dragon Ball, Tenshinhan was inspired by a character from Journey to the West; his unique feature of having a third eye was derived from the Chinese god Erlang Shen. Hoteye (or Hoteye of the Heavenly Eyes), real name Richard, is a member of the Oraci&oacute;n Seis, a dark guild composed of highly powerful mages whose goal is to find Nirvana, a destructive power that was sealed away long ago. Is highly obsessed with money.

Wally considers himself a &quot;Dandy&quot; man and tries to make himself look dandy (=cool) every chance he gets. He also teaches others to be dandier (For example, he says to Milliana that talking cats are not unique, but they are cats because they are talking.) Even his word bubbles are drawn in a square style.    Wally mostly wields a pistol (in the anime his arm changes into a gun instead) that shoots out different magic bullets depending on if he want to kill or simply harm his targets. His main magical ability is teleportation in which in turns himself into a million blocks and moves from one place to the other. Gluttony is the second homunculus to appear in the series, typically being in the company of Lust. He is a large, simple-minded homunculus whose thoughts rarely stray far from eating. He has powerful jaws, acidic saliva, and can and will eat almost anything. He particularly likes eating people, and the only way he can find enjoyment in a battle is if he believes he can eat his opponent afterwards. A running gag in the manga and anime is asking Lust (or any other Homunculi) if he can eat someone. He apparently prefers girls (as in to eat) and also seems to share a bond with his partner Lust.     There is no significant information pertaining to his role in the 2003 anime series.     __In the manga and 2009 anime series;__  Gluttony is the sixth Homunculus created by Father...   ~!and the failed product of Father&#039;s attempts to create a Gate of Truth. When activating this gate, Gluttony&#039;s stomach opens up, revealing a large eye at its center. His ribs spread out to act as a border for the gate, and then double as large extendable teeth. With these teeth Gluttony can consume everything in his eye&#039;s field of vision in an instant, which is then transported to a realm within himself. Artifacts from centuries before the start of the series can be found there, indicating Gluttony&#039;s age. Germania’s grandson who was in love with Italy (then Chibitalia), for he thought that Italy was a girl.   For a while, he lived with Austria, Hungary, and Italy. It was then that he made the decision to try and get Italy to form a new Roman Empire with him. Italy, however, refused, claiming that he didn’t want Holy Rome to end up beaten and fatally wounded like his grandfather. After entering into the Thirty Years War, he disappeared and believed to have died. Beforehand, he said his goodbyes to Italy, who gave him his panties (which was changed to a deck brush in the anime adaptation) to remember him by. The two never met again, but Hidekaz Himaruya promised a happy ending to their story (which has not yet been revealed).  Holy Rome was pretty strong, but had an extremely weak constitution. His love for Italy was so great, that his empire crumbled and he didn’t even care. He was shown as being short tempered, but kind when he wanted to be. As far as skills went, he lacked any sense of artistic ability, but was very smart (apparently, Austria had him studying all the time).   According to Hidekaz Himaruya, his height (as well as Chibitalia’s height) was revealed as being 7 apples tall (about 90cm or 3’0”).  In the English dubbed version of the anime, he was given an Italian accent, which, as pointed out by fans, was historically inaccurate since he was of Germanic descent. In reality, either would suffice considering that the Holy Roman Empire was comprised of several countries and territories, all of different ethnic backgrounds, therefore, no single official language was ever recognized.

Ryou Shiranui, a bright handsome popular guy, his Butei level is A. Even though there are different aspects involved in an A ranking, his integration capacity is high. Barehanded, dagger handling or shooting aspects can all be relied on. The reliability of his gun is very high, a Mk.23 MOD.0 with an installed laser aiming lens. He is also a rare polite person in Butei High. Even though he is very popular with girls, he never had a girlfriend before.     He is Kinji&#039;s friend and Mutou&#039;s too. In the past when Kinji was in Assault, he was often his teammate. Kinji considers him a good friend and someone to rely on, an example of a polite and elegant student.

Taruru used to be Tamama's apprentice, and still calls him &quot;master,&quot; or &quot;senpai,&quot; meaning his superior, Taruru was more clumsy than Tamama in the past. Taruru was a blue Keronian tadpole who's symbol is an orange and yellow raindrop shaped emblem, the mark of an &quot;old driver&quot; in Japan, but he matured faster, in his appearance in volume 10/episode 101, he had adult features instead of tadpole features. Taruru first appeared to see if all the rumors about the Keroro Platoon was true, revealing what Tamama told him about the platoon. In the anime he also appeared a couple of times with his childhood friend Karara, forming a duo of mischievous tadpoles. Despite Taruru's clumsiness in the past, he had become very skilled when training in the Garuru Platoon and has skills that exceeded Tamama's, defeating him in a face-off. He then captures Momoka and Paul, then later on also captures Mois. After Keroro encourages his platoon to rise Tamama, after receiving power from the Super Rhinocerous Beetle, returns for a rematch and Taruru is defeated.  Source - Wikipedia

He's usually found adding comments during key moments in the anime, narrating or recapitulating occurrences, and interacting with the characters.

Babbit sometimes longs for attention from the main cast (and he wouldn't mind some respect and recognition), but Sana is always happy to pretend she doesn't know he exists, and she's quick to dismiss what he's saying as unimportant. For his part, Hayama is happy to chop Babbit on the head whenever he makes a comment about the way he should act. So overall, Babbit often gets abused and ignored, but somehow he's still always happy to pop up and comment about what's going on..

A perverted lingerie stealing (once again a throw back to the typical manga male stock character archetype), chain-smoking, talking ermine, (though he has a long, and prehensile tail), that Negi freed from a trap when he was five years old. Since then, Chamo has been going to Negi whenever he ran into trouble.  Chamo cares strongly for Negi and will fight to protect him, but he is not above using him to try to make a fast buck. Chief among those methods is attempting to make probationary contracts between Negi and as many of his students as possible, since the act nets him 50,000 Ermine Dollars per contract.  Chamo often acts as Negi's trusty advisor in most things, though there are times his judgement and/or advice leaves much to be desired. He is skillful at analyzing dangerous situation and coming up with countermeasure when most of the others are in state of panic, but his plan usually have big flaws in it, a point that he often admits blankly. He is also quite good at analyzing individual strength and character, and puts them in good use during times of need.  He normally suffers Asuna's wrath whenever his schemes are discovered or he is caught in one of his perverted acts.  As a side note, being turned into an ermine is one of the punishments that Negi's magic academy gives, however Chamo is not a mage turned into an ermine, but actually a type of elf/fairy/Cait Sith (which he says he is very proud of).
