Queen Serenity was the queen of the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium and the mother of Princess Serenity. She sacrificed her life by using the Silver Crystal to send the court of the Silver Millennium, including the spirits of her daughter, the Solar System Senshi, and her daughter's lover Prince Endymion, into the future to be reborn on Earth.

Cerberus, nicknamed "Kero", is the appointed guardian of the book which holds the Clow Cards. He is one of two magical creatures created by Clow Reed along with the Clow Cards. Before his death, Clow appointed Kero as the one to select the potential candidate to be the next master of the cards, Cerberus himself, and his "brother" and fellow guardian, Yue. After Sakura accidentally releases the cards, Cerberus chooses her to be the candidate and teaches her the basics of capturing the cards. Throughout the series, he displays an extensive knowledge of mysticism.

Having spent a lengthy amount of time in the book while it was in Osaka, Cerberus speaks with a pointed Osakan accent. He tends to be bossy, demanding, egotistical, and glutton, but clearly displays his affection for Sakura, especially if she is hurt or in danger. He becomes very fond of video games and is addicted to sweets. Cerberus spends most of his time in a "false form", a small figure resembling an orange-stuffed animal with wings.

Unlike Yue, Cerberus draws his life energy from the sun and is not dependent on the magical power of his master. However, his master must have control of the Firey and Light cards in order to power his true form, a large-winged cat. In the anime adaptation, the Firey card is changed to the Earthy card to avoid delaying his obtaining his true form. Cerberus' name is taken from the Greek mythological figure, Cerberus, a large three-headed beast who was assigned to guard the gates of Hades.

Son Gokuu is a boy we meet in a forest far from any civilization. He lives in this forest alone as his grandpa passed away, he only has this special orb-like object called a Dragon Ball to remember him by, which he will sometimes talk to as if it is his Grandpa Gohan. As the series continues, Gokuu meets Bulma, a brilliant teenage girl, and they go on a journey to collect these 7 magical dragon balls which actually have wish granting powers once all of them are collected. During this journey they meet and befriend Yamcha, Oolong, and Pu'ar, whose characters mirror those found in Wu Cheng'en's _Journey to the West_. Gokuu also encounters one his closest friends, Kuririn, and others during his time training. Participating in several World Martials Arts Tournaments, ~!Gokuu also battles foes-turned-allies such as Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, as well as the offspring of Demon King Piccolo named Piccolo Junior.!~

_Dragon Ball Z_ takes place 5 years after the defeat of King Piccolo and Gokuu's last world tournament. We come to find out that Son Gokuu was originally named Kakarot, and is born a member of a race of extraterrestrials called the Saiyans. Shortly following his birth, Gokuu was sent from his home, planet Vegeta, to prepare Earth for sale on the intergalactic market by destroying all its life but due to that injury to his head that caused him severe amnesia, Gokuu forgot his purpose, and instead started focusing on becoming stronger for a little more than the pleasure of it. He now has a son named Son Gohan (named after Grandpa Gohan) who is some what of a cry baby but has hidden potential. Throughout the series, Gokuu faces terribly strong opponents like other powerful Saiyans, Intergalactic Rulers, Androids, and Extraterrestrial Beings that give him fights like no other. Along with new enemies, Gokuu also gains new friends that help him in these situations.  

In  _Dragon Ball GT_, which was not based on Toriyama's manga, Gokuu is turned into a child by a wish on the dragon balls by Pilaf. The series revolves around him traveling around space to find the Black Star Dragon Balls with the help of his granddaughter, Pan, and Trunks. The series ends with Gokuu leaving for good with Shenron and returning one hundred years later to witness the match between Gokuu Jr. and Vegeta Jr.  

In  _Dragon Ball Online_ (which takes place 216 years after Dragon Ball Z, and unlike Dragon Ball GT, Toriyama had a lot of creative control over the story), a new villain by the name of Miira appears with the goal to obtain Gokuu's DNA.  In  _Cross Epoch_, the  _Dragon Ball_ and  _One Piece_ crossover one-shot, Gokuu is seen accompanying Luffy to attend a party hosted by Shenron from whom key characters from both series had received an invitation.!~

Goten is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Dragon Ball Z, as well as appearing in Dragon Ball GT. He is the second son of Son Goku and Chi Chi. Goten is a Human-Saiyan hybrid, just like his older brother, Son Gohan.  Son Goten's natural physique almost perfectly replicates his father Goku's, even though his appearance such as hairstyle and clothes change from time to time. Goten is generally seen wearing an outfit that mimics his father's, with only slight differences. As in the case of the last few episodes of Dragon Ball Z, his hair has grown long, no longer looking like his father's, he also wears a blue and white shirt with his name printed on it. In Dragon Ball GT, he wears a white shirt with purple jeans, and his hair is much shorter. His skin color stays lightly tanned for all of his appearances in Dragon Ball Z/GT. Goten, unlike his brother, was never shown to have a tail. This is never explained. Edward "Fullmetal Alchemist" Elric is a young alchemical prodigy. He is the youngest State Alchemist ever to be recognized by the Amestris State Military, having received the title at the age of 12. Ed's primary motivation throughout the series is to return his younger brother, Alphonse, to his original body, which was lost in a failed human transmutation. Edward, despite his occasional bouts of immaturity, is a selfless boy who gains a reputation as a "hero of the people" throughout his youth. Notably, he doesn't seem concerned about returning his own arm and leg, instead focusing entirely on Al's suffering.

Edward is small for his age, standing at only 149 cm (4'11"), however his body is that of an experienced martial artist, with noticeable muscles and a wealth of agility. Although he lacks both his right arm and left leg, Ed's ability to fight is not impaired, and is in fact improved, as he will often use alchemy to cause his metal arm to partly transform into a blade or shield. His heavy automail limbs are considered by him to be the very best in Amestris. They were made by his childhood friend, Winry Rockbell, and she is constantly working on them. He is able to think quickly, even in desperate situations, though can still be frightened into paralysis. These qualities, combined with his alchemical powers and physical strength, make him a formidable fighter.

Sharry, just like Mai, is a Santa in training. She claims to be Mai's rival and passionately proclaims that she hates Mai, but in reality, Sharry considers Mai as her best friend.

Lambo is a hitman assassin from Italy's Bovino family. He is also the self proclaimed rival of Reborn. His main choice of weapons are hand grenades and horns, and his future dream is to rule the world. Lambo dresses in a cow suit complete with a tail, and has a huge afro with horns on the sides of his head which gives him the appearance of a bison. He's a pretty good resistance against lightning! Although he claims to be the "Great Lambo," Lambo is a total crybaby. Because of that he occasionally uses the Ten Year Bazooka to switch places with his 10 year older alternative. But, it is seen that even 10 years older Lambo is still a complete crybaby and unable to beat Reborn. Though if he uses the Ten Year Bazooka again, he becomes very powerful.

Tsuyoshi is Akito&#039;s best friend.  The two are an odd combination because Tsuyoshi is very cheerful, honest and nice, which is exactly the opposite of how everyone perceives Akito, and Tsuyoshi hardly ever participates in the antics of Akito&#039;s henchmen. However, much like Akito, Tsuyoshi has a tough family situation, as his parents are divorcing. Instead of dealing with his problems like Akito, he becomes kinder for the sake of others.  Because of his ability to be strong and kind in bad situations, Tsuyoshi can sense that there is good within Akito and tries to convince others of what he sees, and tries to convince Sana that Akito isn&#039;t a bad guy, he&#039;s just misunderstood. Don&#039;t mistake Tsuyoshi for all happiness and sunshine though, for if one makes a disparaging remark about his family, especially, his mother, he produces an explosive temper that cannot be quelled.     ~! Umi Ryuuzaki is the Magic Knight of Water. Despite being a beautiful and elegant girl, with a tall model-like figure and long, flowing blue hair, she actually has a short temper, and was initially shown to be the most skeptical of the three. Later on, however, between the three Magic Knights, she took on the mantle of the Big Sister and proved to be very protective of her two best friends, Fuu Hououji and Hikaru Shidou.   



A genius swordsman of the Shinsengumi and master of the Tennen-rishin ryu sword style. Okita was the captain of Shinsengumi's First Unit. In the OVA, he often fought together with Saito and was involved in the Ikedaya Affair in 1864. On one of his night encounters with Kenshin, he eagerly draws his sword and comments that Kenshin's Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryuu gets better every time he sees it.

Lala is an exchange student from Mexico, and a skilled practitioner of &#039;Lucha Libre&#039; fighting. She belongs to the same amateur wrestling club as Ichijō, who she sees her as a rival, often shouting &quot;Ichijō!&quot; when she meets her. Lala dislikes Ichijō&#039;s name because her mother, who abandoned her and her father when she was a child, was also named Karen.    She detests the D-cup-hunting pervert Imadori, especially when he managed to grope her chest while being choked. She thus tends to beats him up whenever she sees him after sufficient provocation. Lala works in the same fast food restaurant as Ichijo, where no one dared to go to her counter because of her violent temper. She even grabs customers that annoy her and drags them inside for a beating. Lala&#039;s closest friends appear to be Harry Mackenzie and Masakazu Tougou, who both look out for her. Later on, her animosity towards Ichijo softens. Her character is the direct opposite of her rival Ichijō, being that she is tall, well-endowed, sour-faced, hot-tempered, and very easily provoked.   

An intelligent but worrisome teen who always carries a &quot;dictionary/encyclopedia/compendium of all human knowledge&quot;, and has a sixth sense, meaning he can see supernatural beings, even though he is not a Shaman. He is very expressive and a bit panicky. His rather abnormal height has gotten him into trouble numerous times, once having been mistaken for one of the shy nature spirits, and being cut open and used as a hostage of sorts during Yoh Asakura&#039;s match with Faust VIII. In the anime, during the final battle with Hao, he actually becomes a Shaman and is able to merge with a spirit.

Ikuto&#039;s Guardian Character, Yoru, has cat-like features. He wears a pair of paw gloves and boots and dresses in punk fashion style. Yoru has a freedom loving stray cat image and often wanders around wherever he pleases without staying with Ikuto. Yoru loves to tease and annoy Kiseki, who in turn tries to do things only Yoru can do, like climb on buildings and railings. He also seems to be scared of dogs.    When Yoru and Ikuto perform Character Change, Ikuto grows cat ears and a tail. In Character Transformation, they become &quot;Black Lynx&quot;. Ikuto wears a spend-like outfit, has cat ears and a tail, and uses a glove with metal claws. In volume two, Miki seems to like Yoru as well as Kiseki, though, has more compliments showing she has an equal crush on Yoru aswell as Kiseki.

Zakuro Fujiwara is the last of the main Mew Mews introduced. Her DNA is merged with a Grey Wolf. 

Zakuro went to a prestigious school and was fully educated. Much of her past isn't mentioned in the manga but is shown more in the anime. It was mentioned in one episode, that she used to live in America, as she left 'home' two years before the series started.

In Tokyo Mew Mew, it is shown that someone close to Zakuro died in the form of a flashback. She had to take care of herself when her parents were busy. This hints at the reason for her unsociable personality.

Zakuro is presented as a self-confident, independent, and mature character throughout the Tokyo Mew Mew series; portrayed as the mature, older-sister-like figure of the group, offering advice and often appearing to save the younger girls just in the nick of time. She usually works alone, as she initially refused to join the other Mew Mews. Zakuro is also shown to be very smart, although she often masks her knowledge of things. She often takes to speaking with Ryou about conflicts within the group. Although Zakuro is a part of the Mew Mews, each member views her differently: Ichigo views her as the big sister of the group, that she stands out at parties, as well as being calm and cool in dire situations. Minto sees Zakuro as an idol that she adores, while Bu-Ling and Retasu find Zakuro to be a normal person who doesn't really stand out from the crowd.   


Ayumi Yoshida is a student in Teitan Elementary School when Shinichi joins her class as [Conan Edogawa](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa). Ayumi befriends Conan and convinces him to join her, [Genta](https://anilist.co/character/4251/Genta-Kojima), and [Mitsuhiko](https://anilist.co/character/4252/Mitsuhiko-Tsuburaya) in investigating an apparently haunted mansion. As it turns out, the haunting is a cover-up for an old homicide case, and due to Conan, the mystery is solved and the culprits are arrested.

Soon after, the accidental acquisition of a treasure map leads Ayumi, Genta, Mistuhiko and Conan on a hunt for a cache of stolen Italian gold coins, during which Conan saves them from getting killed by the mafia members who are also after the gold. His actions earn Ayumi's gratitude, which quickly develops into a serious crush. Additionally, after the case is resolved, Ayumi joins Genta and Mitsuhiko in forming the nucleus of an amateur detective group, the Detective Boys. Ayumi is the sole female member of the Detective Boys until [Ai Haibara](https://anilist.co/character/1743/Ai-Haibara) joins their ranks. 

Ayumi is a primarily naive and innocent little girl who enjoys adventure. She demonstrates courage as time goes on and acts as the group's cheerful spirit. She has an open crush on Conan, even dreaming about marrying him, which makes him uncomfortable. At the same time, Ayumi thinks that he has feelings for Haibara because he tries to protect her and she often sees them talking amongst themselves in private. Ayumi later becomes better friends with Haibara and she allows Ayumi permission to use the more informal term Ai-chan to address her. 

When on a case, Ayumi often makes simple observations that help lead to progress and resolution. For instance, she unlocked one of the codes from the Momotaro container the Detective Boys found in Kurashiki by deducing that it was most likely referring to one of the statues at the Oohara Art Museum: they had to walk 25 steps from the statue towards the direction it was facing. She has an eye for noticing strange details in people's appearance, like she noticed that Taiko Mejin was shaved while dressed casually, while he normally made it grow when he is not wearing a kimono.

She is a pretty detective with the Tokyo police, who often uses the City Hunter team to do her job for her. She keeps promising to pay back [Ryou](https://anilist.co/character/2065/Ryou-Saeba) with &quot;mokkori&quot; (sex), but always manages to get out of it. Despite her deceptive tendencies, she and Ryo have a considerable history together and were in a love triangle with Ryo and [Hideyuki Makimura](https://anilist.co/character/2067/Hideyuki-Makimura).    Saeko&#039;s father is the chief of police, so she has some leeway in how she does her job. But off the job, her father puts pressure on her to get married.    In the spin-off Angel Heart, Saeko was the chief of police who used to date Hideyuki Makimura and was implied to be waiting for Hideyuki&#039;s proposal. In later chapters, Saeko&#039;s hidden dream was to have a normal family with Ryo, implying her shift in romantic interest.

Haruna is the junior high school teacher of [Usagi](https://anilist.co/character/2030/Usagi-Tsukino) at Juban Public Middle School.  She can be quite strict towards Usagi’s laziness. However, she is also lovesick and obsessed with finding a husband, which makes her an easy target for the Dark Kingdom.

Queen Metaria is a malignant, amorphous energy being, similar to the depersonalized Japanese god of evil Amatsu-Mikaboshi. She was born as a result of radioactivity in the sun and is the true mastermind behind the Dark Kingdom. Like all arch-villains in the Sailor Moon manga, she is an incarnation of the final arch-villain, Chaos. Her name is sometimes romanized as Metallia, but later editions of the manga included the author's preferred spelling of Metaria. She is called Metalia in the anime.    In the manga, when Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity were to be wed, Metaria took advantage of those on Earth who despised the union. Such a person was Beryl, whose affections for Endymion were preyed on by Metaria. After the war, Metaria was sealed at the North Pole and placed in suspended animation.  In the 20th century, Metaria manages to return a reborn Beryl to her service and orders her to find the Silver Crystal so it may be used to free Metaria. After Endymion's reincarnated form is captured, Metaria enters the young man's body to use him as a suitable host, letting Beryl die in battle. After Sailor Moon is forced to kill Endymion, Metaria is freed to resume her evil. She is eventually destroyed by Sailor Moon.    In the anime Metaria is much the same, with a few exceptions. She eventually becomes powerful enough to resurrect on her own and then took possession of the dying Beryl, transforming into a towering goddess like creature.    In the English dub of the anime, she is referred to only as the Negaforce, a combination of Negative and Force. This dark lord (or lady) is a god/demon-like creature to the peoples of the Negaverse, and though it is the supreme being of its dimension, and thus not beholden to any being from the human dimension, not even Chaos, her/its role is greatly downplayed. Unlike Metaria, she seems never to have been sealed away and she seems to have always been a faceless diabolic force, content to have Beryl do the actual work.

Miwako Sato is a police assistant inspector and detective.

Sato is considered one of the most dangerous members of the police, being not at all afraid to get tangled with dangerous men in fights, which she almost always wins. She has a strong sense of justice, and hates criminals who take lives for an idiotic reason. She does have a softer personality, in which she is very friendly with the Detective Boys, and especially [Conan,](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) whom she considers is a big help in difficult cases. When in action, however, Sato can be quite reckless and daring, which has earned her the title 'The Silver Witch' among car racers on Mount Fuyuna due to her driving style. Sato can also get highly emotional if cases involve people close to her, like [Takagi](https://anilist.co/character/9421/Wataru-Takagi) and [Matsuda.](https://anilist.co/character/30364/Jinpei-Matsuda)

~!Sato's first love interest was Jinpei Matsuda, whom she only got to know briefly due to his death in a bomb explosion. Although she denied it at first, she finally acknowledged her feelings for Takagi. Nonetheless, for a very long time, each time they were about to take their relationship to the very next step, something got in the way _(mostly in the shape of Miwako's best friend, [Yumi](https://anilist.co/character/28418/Yumi-Miyamoto)),_ until Sato and Takagi  - mostly undisturbed _(thanks to the help of Conan and the Detective Boys for creating a makeshift reason for the interlopers to leave)_ - shared their very first kiss when Takagi was hospitalized in the course of a hard case. Then had their second kiss _(and third)_ when Takagi survived a bombing accident.!~

She, Ranke, Kamira, and Haido attacked Temujin&#039;s village in search of the Stone of Gelel. 

A young boy from the stone age, fossilized by Akira as she was in pursuit of a Time Shifter (Raburabu). Dug up in the future, professor Yamato defossilized him and he became a member of the Time Police. He has inhuman strength, except when his stomach runs empty.

Introduced in the third story arc, Michiru fights alongside her partner and lover Haruka in defending the Solar System from outside threats. In both versions of the story, she is elegant, sophisticated, capable of sharp anger, and sometimes cold. She is fully dedicated to her duty as a Senshi. Her Senshi alter-ego is Sailor Neptune, one of the "four soldiers of the outer solar system". As Sailor Neptune, her element of influence is the sea(not with water in general as Sailor Mercury's powers are); as with many of the other Senshi, this element is closely associated with her planet, which is named for the Roman sea god, Neptune. She is one of the Senshi who has natural psychic powers, alerting her when danger is near. She seems to be a character with a very deep understanding of things, sometimes even surpassing the other Outer Senshi due to her unnaturally high psychic endowments. Michiru's wavy aqua hair and turquoise eyes are intended to evoke images of her element.
