Umibouzu (means "sea bonze", which is a ghost in Japanese mythology; real name: Hayato Ijuin), is a "sweeper" in the underground just like [Ryou Saeba](https://anilist.co/character/2065/Ryou-Saeba). With his giant body and his superb combat skills, he doesn't really need a partner. He is Saeba's equal in most things, and the two have somewhat of a rivalry going.  Umibouzu fought against Ryou back in Central America and had his eyes damaged by Saeba. This should make them enemies, but both men shrug off the past since what happened in the war was not personal. That doesn't mean that they don't fight, though. They often find each other on the same case, but on different sides, and have dueled more than once.

A huge filthy competitor in the 21st Tenka-ichi Bud�kai who has never washed or brushed his teeth since the day he was born. He uses his stench as a weapon since his opponents need to hold their noses closed, so he can attack them better. All of his special attacks are disgusting and range from spitting on his victim, to touching them with sweat from his groin. Kuririn almost loses to him, until Son Goku reminds Kuririn that he's just imagining the smell because he doesn't have a nose (A joke on Kuririn's drawn appearance), which Kuririn quickly remembers and beats Bacterian almost instantly. Later, in the anime, it was revealed that he was homeless and living in a city dump. The anime also shows him being attacked and murdered by Tambourine, but came back to life due to the Dragon Balls.

Of all of Muscle Tower, Goku&#039;s second challenge - to get past Sergeant Metallic (a.k.a. Full Metal Jacket) - was by far the most difficult task. Since Metallic was a robot, he was very hard, and in all truth the only reason Goku won was because the major&#039;s batteries ran out of power. At one point in the anime, Goku accidentally blows off his head using a Kamehameha, but even that doesn&#039;t stop Metallic from continuing its&#039; rampage. Even without a head and eventually losing both wrists, he tried to repeatedly stomp Goku flat. It was the first time in the series someone was actually able to take a couple hits from the Saiyan warrior and survive. Metallic appeared for a couple seconds in Dragonball GT, firing his fist off and causing major damage to a building. Stylistically, he is an obvious tribute/parody of The Terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Android #14 is a large grayish/bluish android with a braided ponytail. He is almost completely silent; the only word he utters is &quot;Goku&quot;, presumably to emphasize the fact that his sole purpose is to kill Goku. However in, the English dub of the movie, he does have a few more lines than in the original Japanese dub. One instance is his fight with Trunks where he says &quot;Little boys shouldn't play with knives...&quot;(meaning Trunks' sword). He was sliced in half by Future Trunks, which caused him to explode. After his defeat, two of his parts were absorbed by #13. Only the fact that an Android #14 was created and subsequently destroyed was mentioned in the manga.

Blackbeard was formerly a member of the Whitebeard Pirates second division led by Portgas D. Ace. Shanks also warned Whitebeard that Blackbeard was becoming stronger than him and had only joined his crew to stay hidden behind the massive shadow of the Whitebeard name, until he became strong enough to make his move. This time came when Blackbeard murdered a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, thus prompting his departure from the crew, and Ace's hunt for him. Blackbeard was also the one who gave Shanks the scars around his eye, a long time ago. Shanks also tells Whitebeard to call back Ace on his hunt for Blackbeard, as he was concerned about the timing of a confrontation between Ace and Blackbeard.

A sawshark fish-man. He was the pirate captain of the all fishman crew, the Arlong Pirates, a former member of the Sun Pirates, and the older brother of [Madam Shyarly](https://anilist.co/character/40274). He is known for being the main villain in the Arlong Arc and had the highest bounty in East Blue before being defeated by [Monkey D. Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40). Like many other One Piece characters, he has his own unique laugh, which is "Shahahahaha."

Arlong considers humans to be inferior beings and is very cruel to them. He is keen to separate his race from humans, and has the mentality that his people are superior to humans in every way. He thinks nothing of killing a town full of humans, although he seems to prefer controlling people with money and deals.  He has an eye for spotting exploitable talent that he can use for his goals and is an excellent planner. He spent eight years using [Nami](https://anilist.co/character/723) and her maps to plan his takeover of the East Blue. Nevertheless, any promise about money he makes, he keeps. However, even though Arlong states he can't go back on his word, he has no qualms about exploiting loopholes in his deals to unfairly get his way.

He is also quick to anger, and has been ill-tempered since his younger years. He wasn't always entirely brutal, but it was later shown that he had grown more arrogant over time to the point that he completely had no sympathy for humans. However, he displays a high level of brotherhood with his crew and even towards Nami despite her species divide. Arlong looks after his crew members and even though he betrayed Nami, he did so because he didn't want to lose her talent.  Arlong would never harm his fellow fishmen no matter the circumstance and cares for his crew a lot.

Kibano is one of the many people who tried to learn Genkai's techniques. He fought Yusuke in the fourth test and compensated for his poor (on par with Yusuke's) spirit awareness by wearing a special helmet that blocked out his senses of hearing, sight, and smell to enhance these abilities. He can increase the size of his arm muscles and is very skilled at physical techniques. Yusuke beat him with his Spirit Gun by placing Genkai's discarded cigarette on his belt to use as a marker.

His name in the original Japanese version media is Mister Satan. It was changed to Hercule in FUNimation's English dub and Viz Media English version of the manga. In the U.S. edition of Shonen Jump it is explained that Hercule is the real name of the character while Mr. Satan was his stage name though no such explanation was present in the original. He is voiced by Daisuke Gouri in the original Japanese version, Chris Rager in the FUNimation version and by Don Brown in the English version from the UK and Canada.   ~!Even though he has never directly saved the world he is highly responsible for defeating Kid Buu as he convinced everyone on earth to give power to Goku's Genki Dama, along with his direct role in defeating Majin Buu. A common point of humor after his first appearance in the Cell Saga is his extremely inflated ego, arrogance and craving for the spotlight which the Z Fighters find annoying at best. Interestingly enough, he never lost any World Tournament that he attended in the series, nor has he died, making him one of the few characters not to have done so along with Pan, his granddaughter. He has a daughter named Videl who dates/marries Son Gohan. A reference to this is made in the video games Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. If the player matches Adult Son Gohan and Mr. Satan the opening dialogue starts with Mr. Satan saying "If you want to go out with my daughter, you'll have to go through me!" Aria is part of the Element 4 group as well as it strongest member. He is a very large man that towers over the other members. Despite his large appearance he seems to cry a lot. Aria&#039;s magic is called Drain which drains it&#039;s opponent of his or her magic power. Once it&#039;s drained it floats in the air and eventually disappears. The greater the magic power of the opponent the more damage Drain causes. His power is so great that he has to keep his eyes closed to contan it and only opens them for the strongest of opponents. Lord Enma is a giant red oni who judges the dead. Residing in the Other World, it is his job to decide whether dead people go to Heaven or Hell. He is based on the Hindu deity Yama. He is first seen when Son Goku is killed by Piccolo during the battle with Raditz. He was until then the only person who has ever run all the way along Serpent Road, but grants Goku permission to attempt this in order to get to North Kaio's planet, which is at the end of Serpent Road. He is apparently skilled to some degree in fighting, as he claims he bested Raditz when the latter attempted to break into Heaven while passing through his realm. According to Kami, North Kaio is stronger than he is.

Though he has few techniques, his fighting experience without any particular fighting style more than made up for it during his first fight with Kenichi.  Tsuji had hoped to one day lead a gang stronger than Ragnarok but his dreams were crushed by Kenichi. He initially had hordes of men as followers, but after he was beaten by Kenichi's unintentional sneak attack, he lost all but two of them. Tsuji was angry at Kenichi at first, but calmed down when his two remaining followers stated that they stuck by him because he was their friend. He grows a bit of respect for Kenichi, informing him of Takeda's impending punishment at the hands of Ragnarok and warning him of Hermit.  Following his defeat by Kenichi, Tsuji goes into the mountains to train. He finds a master, a large old man wearing a bear skin over his head that stretched down to his legs who decided to teach Tsuji his martial arts under the condition that Tsuji has to leave the mountains when he finishes his training.  Tsuji comes back from his training in the mountains to return to Ragnarok, and immediately heads over to Kisara's headquarters to challenge her. However, he is more than surprised to find out that Ragnarok has disbanded and Shinpaku Alliance now holds it. Losing the initial purpose of his training, he decides to seek out Kenichi again to defeat him in a rematch.  While he fights Kenichi in Ryozanpaku, Tsuji demonstrates a tremendous increase in skill, though his punches are still slow enough for Kenichi to dodge. Nonetheless, he was able to obtain a victory over Kenichi, ironically by means of an opportune attack when Kenichi looked away, similar to how he was defeated by Kenichi. He then runs away refusing a rematch saying that he's going to hold onto the victory for the rest of his life and never fight Kenichi again.   According to Akisame, the style Tsuji uses is possibly over a thousand years old and is one of the oldest Japanese styles of Koppou and revolved around the Kanji 昒, which means talent or skill to understand a clever technique in little time in contemporary Japanese and "core" in ancient Japanese. For practitioners, the difference between those who knew the "core" and those who didn't was in their understanding. Tsuji's way of Koppou was a little different from how it is used in regular styles.

The first opponent to ever soundly defeat Baki. He was a Welterweight Boxing Champion moving up to Heavyweight. He was injured by Hanayama, due to his impatience to fight Baki. As a result, his arm was broken and could not compete in boxing again. However, his will enables him to fight anyway. He holds no grudge against Hanayama for what he has done and understands why Hanayama did what he did. He is cheered on by his little sister, Nina.

Along with Mars, Vulcan once held the title of the Empire's strongest before Casshern, Dio, and Leda were born. Wanting to keep that title even in ruin, Mars and Vulcan plot to kill Dio by spreading a rumor that they know Luna's whereabouts; this succeeds in attracting Dio and Leda's attention. Mars and Vulcan battle as a tag-team, with Vulcan using his brawn and giant scythe arm to pummel his opponents.

In their first battle with Dio, Mars and Vulcan win but Mars spares Dio's life at Leda's request. Leda leads Vulcan and Mars to Dio's castle, only to have Dio waiting there to properly handle them. Mars is destroyed by Dio, but Vulcan is not, because Dio knows Vulcan is powerless without Mars by his side. Defeated, Vulcan reveals Luna's whereabouts.

Right after, Braiking Boss appears and Vulcan confronts him about his abandoning the robots. Braiking Boss does not answer, but instead encourages Vulcan to fight him if he's angry. Vulcan hesitates, but then raises his blade to Braiking Boss. He is instantaneously killed.

Shugesh (パンブキン; Panbukin) is a Saiyan warrior within the Saiyan Army, and one of the members of Bardock&#039;s team along with Borgos, Fasha, and Tora. While battling in Great Ape form in Planet Kanassa, his cheek is cut by a ki blast from a Kanassan to which he retaliates by crushing the Kanassan under his foot. Later, he tackles another Kanassan after he hit Bardock in the back of the neck. After the team destroyed Planet Meat&#039;s inhabitants, Shugesh is the first of his teammates to killed by Dodoria&#039;s elite under Frieza&#039;s orders. The son of the owner of Ookawa&#039;s wine shop. He receives strict upbringing from his parents.     ~!  He&#039;s attracted to Chizuru. Later, he also gets bitten by Chizuru and becomes a Shiki. As a shiki who was freed from his father&#039;s imposing presence, Atsushi soon became intoxicated with his new right to kill humans. When his father knows of his allegiance with the Kirishiki family, he resolves to join with Ozaki Toshio to bring an end to the Shiki and punishes his son.    In retaliation against Toshio&#039;s murder of Chizuru, Atsushi breaks into Toshio&#039;s house and kill his mother. Soon later, he was found out by his father and staked to death by him.  !~

One of Bishoku-kai vice-head chefs. Toriko met him on his journey for BB Corn and fought with him although Grinpatch didn&#039;t take the fight seriously. He has a scar on the left side of his chest and pair of arms attached to his body. When he fought Toriko he was using an extremely durable straw made of Giant Mosquito. He used it to suck food through it to his mouth.  His pet is a giant Jack Elephant which has, as far, the highest capture lvl in whole series - 85.  He was mentioned by Alfaro who said that he can handle the Gourmet World.

Desler is the Leader of the alien race known as the Gamilas and the main villain of Space Battleship Yamato. It was Desler who masterminded the attack on Earth, forcing the humans to move underground due to the radioactive meteore-bombs unleashed on the planet by the Gamilas fleet. Although initially portrayed as a dictator bent on conquest seemingly for it's own sake, it's later revealed that Desler seeks to conquer the Earth in order to find a new home for his people, following the imminent destruction of their home-planet.
