Harlock&#039;s first mate on the Arcadia, he is usually portrayed as comic relief in the series, but when a battle against alien threats become imminent he will be at the captain&#039;s side. He is also a brilliant mathematician and has a major interest in building plastic model kits of ships (he was even seen building a scale model of the Arcadia in one episode). Phinks is a genius when it comes to unarmed combat. Phinks uses his hands in battle, which have been shown to be extremely powerful. He is rather brash and has a tendency to get into conflicts with other people. Phinks is one of the members of the Phantom Troupe that originated from Meteor City. He first appears in Egyptian Suit but later changed into jogging suit. He seems to get along with Feitan. Phinks also displays a level of compassion for Zazan's minions after they are released from her control. When they beg him to kill them he refuses to simply execute them on their knees, instead urging them to fight back and die in battle honorably.

Ripper Cyclotron: Phinks's nen ability involves how many times he rotates his arm. The more rotations that he does with the arm, the stronger his blow will become.

After he was beaten up, he discovered a magazine with an article about Baker training athletes and becomes involved with his program. According to Baker, Arnold has never lost in an official match. Part of this is due to his determination to not want to return to this 'hellish' life. However, he loses to Syuusuke Fuji of Seigaku , who incidentally has never lost in an official singles match before at this point during the Goodwill Games. Arnold is called a tennis machine because of his accuracy and the ability to finger out his opponent's shots and countering them.

He is one of Makoto&#039;s friends since junior high, and is in the same class as Makoto. He&#039;s cheerful, dorky and appears to be strongly attracted to Kotonoha because of her good looks. In the anime, he often tries to impress Kotonoha, but she constantly tells him that she is Makoto&#039;s girlfriend and therefore cannot date him; Taisuke doesn&#039;t give up, though, and this ultimately causes some of the events that break Kotonoha the most. Kotonoha eventually becomes somewhat cold with him, telling him directly that she has no feelings for him. In the game, however, ~!under certain circumstances they briefly date, but Kotonoha ultimately breaks up with Taisuke and returns to Makoto.!~

This defense player is notorious for his skill at marking and restricting the movement of players. They often call him &#039;viper&#039; because once he makes his mark, or his &#039;bite&#039;, he won&#039;t ever leave that player&#039;s side, sometimes even resorting to illegal moves to take the player down. Once, in Josui&#039;s game with Mushashinomori, he kicked Tatsuya purposefully when the latter was about to score a goal.    He becomes a regular on the Junior Senbatsu Team.

Hassaku Hozumi is the stage director of Studio Petit. He is responsible for checking the key frames, staging and also voicing. When Kuromi comes to Studio Petit, Hassaku uses the chance to show off and preach her, as he wishes to be recognized. But he is actually quite lazy and sometimes neglects his responsibilities. He is also easy about his appeareance and hardly ever shaves.
