Will A. Zeppeli was on a ship with a crew studying Aztec ruins when he was younger when his father put on the mask and killed everyone in the crew but his son. After this horrific event, Zeppeli travels the world in order to destroy the mask, and sees a man cure someone using the Ripple. Zeppeli is then directed to his master Tonpetty, who teaches him to use the Ripple. However, Tonpetty foresees Zeppeli's death during his training, warning him that should he complete his training he will surely die. Zeppeli doesn't share this fact until the fight with Tarkus, where he afterwards gives his power to Jonathan, whom he trained after the Joestar's house burns down. His grandson is Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli.

Jinpei's your typical bright, obnoxious kid who just happens to be a deadly ninja fighting to save the Earth. He considers the rest of the team his family, and Ryu is his "partner in crime" for comedy gags. Jinpei has a penchant for dragging home wild animals (seals, baby whales, stag beetles, puma cubs, big fat Gallactor spies...) and causing his sister no end of grief. He's always ready with a joke or truly bad pun. Nothing is known of Jinpei's true name or origin. Jun found him as an infant at the base of Mt. He joined the basketball team because of his love for the game in the first place. But soon it seems that he is also playing for the love of his life Ayako, the team manager. Although Ryonan's coach asked him to join the Ryonan Basketball Team, Miyagi chose for Shohoku because of Anzai. Miyagi is a problem kid, he gets into fights a lot and gets himself beaten up.

Miyagi is a smart but kinda rude person, who is only nice and sweet to Ayako. He tried to date other girls to forget Ayako, but he failed to. So he can be a very sensitive person too. Miyagi is a bit short-tempered sometimes and hates when people make fun of his height.
