She is a former S-class mage and the older sister of Elfman. When Mirajane was an S-class mage, she was known as "The Demon." However, due to a past incident involving the death of her younger sister, Lisanna, Mirajane somehow lost much of her magical ability and her will to fight. Given the recent event of Elfman regaining his lost abilities and Mirajane's increased confidence, Mirajane may someday regain her abilities and move forward with her life.

Mirajane plays a motherly role within the guild, and is often seen running the bar at the guild hall. She has rarely been shown to be in a bad mood, and can tolerate all of the guild's eccentricities. However, there have been a couple events that have disturbed Mirajane, including her discovery of the stealing of an S-Class job by [Natsu](https://anilist.co/character/5187), [Happy](https://anilist.co/character/5188) and [Lucy](https://anilist.co/character/5186), and her later disappointment with [Laxus](https://anilist.co/character/8294) following the destruction of the guild building.

A child prodigy, Amy is Team Satomi's midfielder and battle tactician. She, being the physically weakest of the team, synchronizes with her cybernetically enhanced calico cat, Luca, to form a composite personality during IGPX Races. Quiet and sympathetic, Amy will often patch up conflicts between other team members, but her sweetness belies her considerable combat abilities. In season 2, Amy is injured in Satomi's race against White Snow. Andrei replaces her for both Velshtein vs Satomi and Skylark vs. Satomi matches. Throughout the series only Amy could hear Luca's 'voice' while racing with him in her mech. However, at the end of the series, at the beginning of Satomi's first race of the 2051 racing season, it is revealed that now all members of Team Satomi can now hear his voice. In episode 4, &quot;The Ghost&quot;, it is revealed that Amy dearly misses her parents, who are always out on business.

Sasara Kusugawa is one school year older than the protagonist and the student council vice-president and later the president. She has a cold demeanor and strict attitude and as a result, her only friend is Marianne. When it is time for Marianne to graduate, Sasara is saddened because her only friend would be leaving her and even tries to convince Marianne not to graduate. Takaaki becomes acquainted with her after he is chosen to be a volunteer to help the student council with an event, but when Sasara becomes president, she appoints him as vice-president. Wato is a self-confident, tomboyish and somewhat violent high school girl. Her principal role is in The Three Eyed One where she is Sharaku&rsquo;s friend and keeper, and the only person who has the power to put on and take off the bandage which seals his third eye, and his evil powers. In the Black Jack TV series, she is Sharaku&#039;s elder sister, constantly nagging him to be more self-confident, and to do his homework.

The younger of the Oribe twins, Hinano is also a third year high school student at Yukimi Meadows. She is the captain of the Kyūdō team, and is a very skilled archer. She is friends with Komaki Sakurai, having been rivals with her during school archery tournaments.  Unlike her sister (whom she always refers to as Ne-sama, the formal, respectful term for "big sister") Hinano is quite willowy, humble, and soft-spoken. She is shy and naïve around strangers, especially men; when they are introduced to the Magami Five through Komaki and Kyouko Touno, Hinano hides behind Yukino when Kyouichi tries talking to her. She is a devote Miko, often seen caring for the temple and those seeking its sanctuary.    The shrine maidens study with Ryuuzan Arai, and are well versed in battling demons and casting spells. They later come to the aid of the main characters when they are forced to fight against a possessed Aoi. After the battle with Kodzunu, the twins become major players throughout season two. Kawasaki is a third year member of Fujigaya Girls&#039; Academy. She is in the school&#039;s elite drama club and is slated to play Catherine in the production of Wuthering Heights.     She gets rather flattered by all the attention she receives as being one of the main characters in the much-anticipated play. Though she later starts to baulk at the idea of people constantly chattering about her and giving her no privacy, even after the play.     The fans around the school have taken to calling her &quot;Catherine&quot; after her character, much in the way they start referring to Sugimoto Yasuko as &quot;Heathcliff&quot;.     Eventually she leaves to study in England after graduation, and it is rumoured that she is boarding with Yasuko; this causes Fujigaya to go wild with the news, even printing in the school&#039;s newspaper that Heathcliff and Catherine have &quot;eloped&quot; to England, though it is just enthusiasm on their part at the thought of the school&#039;s drama stars going to university abroad and being room-mates.

The anime namesake and the main female lead, Shion is tasked with hunting down and killing Geists.  Yet when she is saved by the Geist infected Hiroki she returns the favor and tells Hiroki that she will not kill him for now because he has a strong heart that is able to resist the Giest.  Shion eventually falls in Love with Hiroki.   ~! She dies at the end by Infinity. Infinity claimed that he was &quot;built&quot; to kill the Wolf Giest. !~

Sora's classmate and Nami’s best friend. Kana and Nami are the only members of the cosplay club. She makes female outfits for Sora and Nami forces these outfits unto her brother. She has feelings for Sora but is too shy to confess them. She is unaware of Nami's feelings towards her.

A Bio-Hybrid given power by Kurata, Nanami works with Kouki and Ivan to take out DATS. Though she possesses no Digimon partner, she can herself transform into a Digimon. Her first form is the dragon-like BioQuetzalmon while her strongerform is BioLotusmon.  She is paired as a sort of rival to Touma, as they both rely on intelligence and strategy over raw power in battle. She over goes as far as to try recruiting Touma onto her side.  For no explained reason, she dresses in Gothic Lolita fashion while in human form and even carries around an umbrella. Nanami is very calm and calculating, yet also bored easily.

Aoi is the first sparring partner that Maria does not kill. They become good friends to the point of Aoi becoming her assistant and best friend later on in the anime, where she too is equipped with a Dual Cloneblade. As a Cloneblade she is melee fighter using sickle like blades. She has small blue eyes and blond hair she wears in braids. She wears an orange dress.
