Anna Akechi is a second-year junior high student living in Makoto Mirai Town. On her 14th birthday, she has a chance encounter with a fairy named Pochitan, and a magical pendant caused her to travel back in time from 2027 to 1999! In the Makoto Mirai Town 28 years in the past, Anna meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a girl her age who wants to become a great detective. 
 
Meanwhile, people in town are in trouble as their prized possessions are being stolen from under their noses - the cause being a group of Phantom Thieves. To stop them, Anna and Mikuru turn into Precures! Maybe if they solve these mysteries, Anna can find her way back to her own time?

Meanwhile, the Nightmares are moving into the real world. Once Nozomi agrees to help, Coco and Nuts transform her into the magical girl Cure Dream and turn four fellow students into her Pretty Cure team.

One day she visits a show of the famous dance unit "Trinity" and decides to become a dancer, too. On the same event, subordinates of the Labyrinth Kingdom show up who want to collect the unhappiness of the audience. Love gets the power to change into Cure Peach and fights them. Soon after, she is joined by her good friends Miki, who is Cure Berry, and Inori, who becomes Cure Pine.

Later joined by her high energy classmate and new friend Erika Kurumi as Cure Marine, the two girls vow work hard to protect everyone's Heart Flowers from the evil gang, The Desert Messengers.

All around the world, Pretty Cures have been fighting against the invasion of an enemy known as Saiark. Shirayuki Hime, the princess of Blue Sky Kingdom, is a Pretty Cure; but unable to defeat the enemy alone, she falls behind the others, and ends up in a bad situation.

Haruka Haruno is a first-year student at Noble Academy who dreams of becoming a princess, just like the one from her favorite picture book. Long ago, she made a promise with a boy named Kanata to never give up the dream, and he gifted her a dress-shaped key. On her first day at the academy, Haruka runs into the fairies Pafu and Aroma who came from the mystical Hope Kingdom in search of the Princess Precures to save their world from the dark witch Dyspear. Now, with the help of Princess Perfume and the Dress Up Key from Hope Kingdom's Prince Kanata, Haruka transforms into Cure Flora to protect everyone's dreams from being locked away by Dys Dark's minions. 
 
With her friends Cure Mermaid and Cure Twinkle by her side, the three princesses join forces in battle to protect dreams, collect the 12 Dress Up Keys, and stop Dyspear's plot to turn everyone to despair.

Mirai Asahina, a 13-year-old girl who's going into her second year of middle school, witnesses a mysterious object fall in to the park. Excitedly, she brings her stuffed bear Mofurun with her to see what it was. When she gets there she sees a girl named Riko flying on a broom. Mirai has a lot of questions, and Riko explains that she's searching for something. The two of them are wearing similar pendants. Then Batti, an ally of the dark magic user Dokurokushi, appears before them and demands the "Link Stone Emerald." Batti creates a monster called a "Yokubaru" and drives them into a corner. Mirai, Riko, and Mofurun join hands and speak the magic words "Cure-Up Rapapa," their pendants glow, and they become the legendary Precure.

The story begins when the protagonist Hikaru meets aliens Lala, Prunce, and Fuwa while watching the night sky. In order to save the Healing Garden, Latte escaped to the human world alongside three "medical trainee" Healing Animals, on a mission to find three people who can partner with them. Jewelry stores across town are being robbed, but despite the crimes taking place, Conan's friend Ayumi is excited. She notices the burglaries bear a striking resemblance to the events of her favorite anime, Precure, and she's hopeful that she'll get to meet the "PreCures!" if the thieves show up again. 

Conan and the Junior Detective League get assigned to guard Kaneko Jewelry Store, which is rumoured to be their next target. After tailing a suspicious customer and discovering the date of the crime, as well as their hideout, the police seem to round up the thieves - but Ayumi notices something odd... Can the Detective League solve the mystery with a cute twist?!
