Akiho is a beautiful, aloof-looking high school second-year model student and popular girl in her class, and Haruka's love interest. However, she has absolutely no experience with intimate relationships and thus tends to overanalyze this topic in her nervousness. She has the habit of approaching sexual topics in a straightforward manner, a trait which was ingrained into her by her mother at an early age, hence the name.

With nothing left to lose, ordinary high school student Haruka Shinozaki confesses to beautiful, diligent class representative Akiho Kousaka and to his surprise she accepts. Kousaka takes dating as seriously as she does everything else, but does not quite get it. She pragmatically suggests activities that are too sexual.<br>

Aoi Yabusaki, better known by her stage name Aoi Yuuki, is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer represented by Pro-Fit.

Yuuki entered the entertainment industry at the age of four. As a child, she acted in films and dramas. From 1999 to 2002, she made regular appearances on the variety shows Appare Sanma Dai-sensei and Yappari Sanma Dai-sensei which aired on Fuji TV. When she was in fifth grade, she made her debut as a voice actress as [Sakura](https://anilist.co/character/15429/) on [Kino's Journey](https://anilist.co/anime/486/).

In late 2006, she was affiliated with the theater company Central. After her admission to high school in August 2007, she joined the agency Breath, whilst changing her stage name to Aoi Yuuki. In August of the same year, she moved to the agency Pro-Fit.

In October 2011, she won the Newtype award for best lead voice actress for her role as [Madoka Kaname](https://anilist.co/character/37832/) in [Puella Magi Madoka Magica](https://anilist.co/anime/9756/). She was also awarded for Best Lead Actress in the 6th Seiyuu Awards for Madoka Kaname, [Victorique de Blois](https://anilist.co/character/20170/) and [Tooru Ichii](https://anilist.co/character/38904/).
