Fourteen-year-old Kouichi Hayase&rsquo;s life has always been a mediocre one, if not dismal. However, those days of being bullied by classmates and escaping to a fantasy of being a hero are put to an end when a certain &ldquo;accident&rdquo; bestows on him a girl and a gigantic humanoid robot called &ldquo;LINEBARREL&rdquo;. Todd Haberkorn, alternatively known as Todd Stone, is an American voice actor, director, producer and actor who has provided voices for many English dub versions of Japanese anime series, as well as cartoons and video games. While he was working in theaters, he joined Funimation as a voice actor, beginning with some minor bits in Black Cat and Peach Girl.

The Linebarrels of Iron story takes place in a fictional alternate future, centering on a junior-high school student named Kouichi Hayase, who escaped his daily life of being bullied as a child by daydreaming about being a hero. His life was forever changed during a class trip in the year 2016 when an artificial satellite fell from orbit. Due to this "accident", Kouichi was left in a coma for half a year, and upon awakening, found himself with strange powers, including superhuman strength.<br><br>
