Animated adaptation of Level-5's Nintendo 3DS video game. 
 
While going deeper into the woods one day, primary school student Keita Amano ('Nate' in the English localisation) notices a bizarre capsule toy machine who tells him to insert money which he obeyingly does. But after opening the capsule that came out, a ghostly creature named Whisper materialises. Whisper, who was sealed inside the capsule, rewards his liberator Keita by becoming his Yo-kai butler and gives him a Yo-kai Watch. Whoever wears the watch gains the ability to see supernatural creatures called Yo-kai, each type possessing different kinds of magical abilities, and which are normally invisible to humans. The Yo-kai Watch also allows the wearer to summon any Yo-kai they have befriended, enabling the wearer to make use of the Yo-kai's powers. Using it, Keita and Whisper encounter many mischievous Yo-kai around town, resolving the trouble they're causing and befriending many at the same time.

Tomatsu debuted in 2007, starring in Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica as Corticarte Apa Lagranges. Since then, she has had other major roles such as Lala Satalin Deviluke in To Love-Ru and Shiho Sannomiya in Zettai Karen Children. Before graduating from high school in 2008, she used to live in Ichimomiya city where she often took the shinkansen, traveling back and forth between Nagoya and Tokyo to attend recordings. **Ludvig Olavson Omre** is a Norwegian voice actor working for SDI Media.

He was the Black Ranger on Mighty Morphing Power Rangers and The Green Ranger on Power Rangers Zeo and the Green Turbo Ranger on Power Rangers Turbo. The movie will feature special guests such as popular familiar characters from the TV anime series and the latest Youkai from the upcoming Youkai Watch 2 sequel games.

A new season of Youkai Watch focusing on elementary schooler Keita Amano again. The events take place right after the original season; but still chronologically occur before the now complete Shadow Side events as they take place 30 years in the future.

Nate Adams is just an average kid until the mysterious Whisper gives him the Yo-kai Watch. Now he can see what others cannot: Yo-kai of all shapes and forms!

The new show will feature unique and returning Yo-kai. The comedy will also center on the original series' main characters: fifth-grader Keita (Nate in the English version), ghost butler Whisper, and popular Yo-kai like Jibanyan and Komasan. The original cast members for these four characters are returning for this new series.

The second Youkai watch movie 
 
When Keita frees Whisper, a ghost-like yōkai, from 190 years of imprisonment, Whisper pledges to protect Keita from supernatural dangers. Whisper also gives Keita a watch that allows Keita to see other yōkai. Together with the twin-tailed cat spirit Jibanyan, they encounter lots of yōkai-related problems and solve them.

The story begins when Jibanyan's favorite sweets store Chocobo and Komasan's favorite soft serve ice cream parlor suddenly vanish from the town due to the actions of a mysterious yo-kai creature. The yo-kai says that Jibanyan and Komasan must face off to determine which of the two shops will return.
