A first-generation Coordinator that lives with his uncle, Edmond Du Clos after losing his parents in an accident.

~!He pilots the Stargazer Gundam alongside Selene McGriff during Phantom Pain's attack, utilising the "Voiture Lumiere" Propulsion System for self-defence. He is the one that locates Selene & Sven after they are stranded in deep space and organises their rescue.!~

In C.E. 73, tensions between Naturals and Coordinators continue to persist, eventually leading to another war between the Earth Alliance and PLANT. Sven Cal Bayan is a Natural pilot of the elite EA squad, the Phantom Pain, and carries out his squad's various anti-Coordinator missions without fail. Selene McGriff is a Coordinator researcher at the neutral Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD) and a developer of the GSX-401FW Stargazer space exploration mobile suit. Though their backgrounds are completely different, the expanding war will nevertheless force their paths to collide.

Fukuyama released his debut music album "Romantic World 31" on his birthday (November 26) in 2009, his second album "Love Letters 2: Paris Romantic" on July 21, 2010, his third album "Fukuyama Jun, Ai wo Utau!" on May 25, 2011, and his fourth album "Love Letter 3 ~Matsuri no Kuni de~" on May 22, 2013. He also appeared in a 2009 romantic comedy movie Fujoshi Kanojo in a cameo role.

In 2007, a special manga epilogue, authored by Naoki Moriya, was published. In it, the previously uncertain fate of Selene and Sven is revealed as they are shown to be alive and mostly unharmed from their ordeal. Sven joins the DSSD
