Aya appears on the 9th episode of Amaenaideyo.  Ikkou and Chitose are called by studio producers after they hear weird voices in a CD recording; when Ikkou and Chitose get to the studio and start praying, she comes out.   ~!She is still wandering this world because she died in a car accident when she was going to the studio for her first day of recording, so she borrows Chitose's body to sing through her.   It is later revealed that she didn't die in the car accident; she took her life because her boyfriend was left in a coma and the doctors told her she wouldn't recover.  After her boyfriend awakens from the coma, she then feels relieved and is able to leave the world of the living.!~

Satonaka Ikkou, a 16 year old boy, is a first year trainee at the Saienji Buddhist Temple. He was sent there by his parents to be trained by his grandmother, the Saienji Priestess. At the temple he finds himself surrounded by beautiful female priestesses-in-training. Upon seeing a girl naked, Ikko has the ability to turn into a super-monk, performing massive exorcisms for the good of the temple.<br><br>

She is admired by many of her fellow actors and fans because of the fact that she has a great amount of power and strength in her singing voice, which surprises many fans due to her regularly petite stature. She was also the winner of the "Best Musical Performance" award in the first Seiyuu Awards. She was also part of the quartet Prits alongside Yumiko Kobayashi, Natsuko Kuwatani, and Hisayo Mochizuki (all four voiced characters in the anime _Sister Princess_). Her singing style comes from singing Enka since she was young.

In July 2020, she married someone from the music industry, and they had their first child on March 16, 2021.
