Nanami Madobe is the official OS-tan of Windows 7. She is the first official &quot;OS-tan&quot;, in that she is marketed by Microsoft. 7777  Premium bundles of Windows 7 Ultimate DSP sold in Japan include a Madobe Nanami theme pack, complete with sound files and three wallpapers.     Her name is a play on her voice actor&#039;s, Nana Mizuki, as well as Windows 7. The Kanji characters in her surname literally translate to &quot;By the window&quot;, and her first name is also a play on &quot;Nana&quot;, the Japanese word for 7.    In Madobe Nanami no Windows 7 de PC Jisaku Ouen, she is computer store employee.    Nanami has her own Twitter account.

Madobe Nanami is a computer store employee who instructs customers on how to magically assemble their PCs.  She also shows them some of the features of Windows 7.

She is admired by many of her fellow actors and fans because of the fact that she has a great amount of power and strength in her singing voice, which surprises many fans due to her regularly petite stature. She was also the winner of the "Best Musical Performance" award in the first Seiyuu Awards. She was also part of the quartet Prits alongside Yumiko Kobayashi, Natsuko Kuwatani, and Hisayo Mochizuki (all four voiced characters in the anime _Sister Princess_). Her singing style comes from singing Enka since she was young.

In July 2020, she married someone from the music industry, and they had their first child on March 16, 2021.
