The main antagonist of the series. The corrupt head officer of the Spanish Army in California. Selfish, cruel and a typical baddie, Raymond thinks only about his own best interests.  He commands the National Guard and is completely dependent on the Governor for whom he does the dirty work.

Diego Vega returns from his study trip to discover his homeland is under the army's dictatorship. Diego, refusing to watch idly, disguises himself as Zorro to protect the weak and oppressed. Diego is not a coward but he is unable to win the affections of his sweetheart, Lolita, who is attracted to other more noble men. Diego serenades Lolita as Zorro and fights the evils of his homeland, hoping to capture her heart.

Cassius Romero is a Brazilian actor, voice actor, dubbing director, podcaster, and cartoonist.

He began his career illustrating album covers at Warner Music for eight years. At the same time, he created comic books and published some science fiction stories in the French version of Heavy Metal. He began his career as a voice actor at Álamo, in 1992.
