Yuina is a 16-year-old teenager who is daughter of the Fukuya Inn owners that are rivals with Kissuisō. While a rivalry exists between Yuina's and Ohana's grandmothers, she remains friendly towards Ohana. Unlike Ohana, Yuina doesn't seem particularly interested in the affairs of the inn. She attends the same high school as Ohana, Minko and Nako. Yuina has a strange habit of observing and using foreign dialects, often switching which dialect she uses.  While Yuina is the class heart throb (along with Minko), she turns down every love confession.  ~!It is revealed that Yuina has a fiancé, Yosuke, who is not only her childhood friend but also a manager at another hot spring inn. Yosuke wants Yuina to work alongside him at the inn, but she refuses, saying that she doesn't like working at an inn. Later she helps out, as Yosuke's inn is short on people. Yuina mentions that this is her first time doing actual work and that it wasn't so bad.!~

After her single mother decides to run off with a boyfriend to dodge debt collectors, the young and energetic Ohana is sent to live with her grandmother. However, her grandmother is the strict owner of a hot springs inn and requires her to work at the inn to pay for her living expenses. Although Ohana is unhappy about this situation at first, she decides to make the best of her situation and work hard. Ohana's life is suddenly filled with fun, mischief, and drama!

In the days before the Bonbori Festival, Ohana's friend Yuina comes to Kissuiso for training. While cleaning up after her, Ohana discovers a logbook kept by Beans from when her mother, Satsuki, was still a youth at Kissuisso. Through the logbook, Ohana catches a glimpse of her mother's struggles, and realizes that maybe the two of them aren't so different after all. Utopia is a song that was specially created for the True Tears x Hanasaku Iroha x Tari Tari Joint Festival Live featuring the seiyuu (voice actors) from the three series. P.A. Works produced a video of this song which is included in the the Blu-ray release of this event.
