Android 18 is a fictional character who first appears in the Dragon Ball manga created by Akira Toriyama, followed by Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT. No. 18 is a mass murderer in Future Trunks' timeline.  A cybernetic human, #18 modified by [Dr. Gero](https://anilist.co/character/2146). She is often referred to in the original Japanese as a jinzōningen, which literally translates as "artificial human". She is not entirely an android; she refers to both herself and her twin brother as having been "constructed from a human base".

Kuririn pursues #18 and, at some point, they marry and have a daughter named [Marron](https://anilist.co/character/2106).  To clear up the heavily espoused misconception that #18 is a pure android and therefore could not have a child, Kuririn went on to explain to [Son Goku](https://anilist.co/character/246) during the World Tournament Saga that she was originally human but that Dr. Gero just "remodeled her a little bit."!~

Whether he is facing enemies such as Freeza, Cell, or Boo, Goku is proven to be an elite of his own and discovers his race, Saiyan. Emperor Pilaf finally has his hands on the Black Star Dragon Balls after years of searching, which are said to be twice as powerful as Earth's normal ones. Pilaf is about to make his wish for world domination when he is interrupted by Gokuu Son. As a result, Pilaf flubs his wish and accidentally turns Gokuu back into a child. 
 
After the wish is granted, the Black Star Dragon Balls scatter across the galaxy. However, Gokuu discovers that they will cause the Earth to explode unless they are all brought back within a year. Uniting with his granddaughter Pan and a young adult Trunks, Gokuu sets off on an adventure through the universe to find the Black Star Dragon Balls and save his planet from destruction.

Shortly after the defeat of Majin Buu, Bills, the God of Destruction, awakens after a long slumber. After hearing rumors of a Saiyan warrior who defeated Frieza, he tracks down that warrior, Son Goku. Excited at the prospect of a new challenge, Goku faces him in battle, only to be quickly overwhelmed by his power, and he is defeated shortly thereafter. Realizing the threat Bills poses to the entire universe, Goku and his friends must find a way to stop him before it's too late.

One peaceful day on Earth, two remnants of Freeza's army named Sorbet and Tagoma arrive searching for the Dragon Balls with the aim of reviving Freeza. They succeed, and Freeza subsequently seeks revenge on the Saiyans.
